It was incredible! If you ever come to the Alps and want more solidarity, then Haute Route is the way to go. TMB can get very busy, as we were on it our first 3 days on the trail.

What an amazing adventure you both will have, you will be in the most beautiful parts in France and Switzerland (my homeland) and now I'm sad that I don't drive a car, I would have met up in Zermatt with you, (dang it) You will see how different it is here.. nice surprises are awaiting you both, so so happy for you two!!! (sorry to be AWOL for a few month myself, some family business stuff) PS: If it's to not heavy in your backpacks, take binoculars with you, you probably will see some Alpine Wildlife 😉

We will have 2 full days in Zermatt on the 29th and 30th of this month, and are willing to take a train if you would like to meet with us! There were butterflies for sure! 😅 mainely because our wedding was on Mount Washington and we were nervous about the weather. But we're happy to say it all went perfect!

My GP, who Thru Hiked in 1982, took her 3 kids over the pond and hiked Mont Blanc last month. She said the they sorta share similar paths. Y’all are still some of my favorite AT vloggers … nobody this year compared to y’all’s video journey last year. I’ve had some nice section hikes this year … The Smokys in April, The Shennies in June, and heading up to Manchester Center, VT in 6 days to knock out the rest of VT, then knock out 60 miles of VA on the way back home to GA. We mainely ate sack lunch from the huts and hotels. These consisted of a sandwich, apple, chocolate and a water or juice. We never had to carry more than a day's worth of food at a time.
