Too many reviews of expensive bikes, in motorcycle journalism and on the internet, and not enough like this, that might get more people into motorcycling - the lifeblood of its survival.
Yer the 1000cc bikes get the views that's why people stick to the larger stuff but it's of no help to new riders at all. These won't get as many views but are far more useful to people. Glad you appreciate that 🙂
Correct. The average age of a U.K. biker is now 47, and they are generally better off than younger/newer riders, hence the relatively healthy sales of more expensive bikes. New blood, interest and money is what's needed for motorcycling to thrive.
Passed my CBT today at age of 60 on one of these which the test centre had. Never seen one until today and guessed it would cost about 3,500 and was amazed to find out it was 1600! I honestly wish I hadn't ordered my Honda CB125f at nearly 3k now. It performed flawlessly today.
I'm a total biking noob and new subscriber to your channel. I've got my CBT booked in just over a week's time. There's a Michigan in the local bike dealer's I have my eye on. It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.
@@mrginga4044 I was lucky that a dealership within 20 miles was selling the bike I was after at a great price - £1600 with 42 km on the clock. As with cars, they fall in price significantly once taken off the forecourt so there are bargains to be had.
Just brought a year old one of these for my partner. 900 Miles on the clock. Paid £1150 for it. Been riding years myself, sports bikes to roadsters. Well I was really impressed, build quality and smoothness for a Chinese 125 cc. She hasn't done her cbt yet, so I took her out on it. Popping to town I'll definitely be pinching this 👍 Great vid, helped me choose one of these for her to learn on
I do very much like the 125 Chinese bike market that exists in the UK - Lexmoto and Sinnis are great examples as to how bike companies should be: Their official pages promote riders of their bikes and celebrate the custom/modding scene of their bikes; they have an official supplier of parts so if something goes wrong or you fuck yourself in a crash, 3 minutes of ordering stuff online and a few hours in the garage can have your bike looking as good as new; and they always learn from their customers and what their target audience wants
Exactly! I'd love to own a bike for which a new set of plastics are not well over €800 for a full set, but in the netherlands such a thing doesn't exist. :(
Average cost for me to refill my 125 cruiser is £15 i can get anywhere between 150/170 ish miles till i need to refill again and thats mainly city riding. Cruisers are meant more for comfort of riding than speed. There for they are generally better for those who have joint or back issues. As for the mirrors ive just re adjusted mine abit so they arnt as wide and they still work well.

A negative mark is the lazy speedo. Even Euro makes do it. Metric on the outside, British on the inside. I tried this format on an insurance bike. The dual readouts are hard to use if you want the inside one. So you HAVE to use the outside one. One of the reasons I went towards a Honda - give me what I expect. I have combo brakes and doing a U turn when the front starts to brake means the front can wash out slowly on gravel. I may split the brakes up.
Hi Spicy110, I'm just about to get my very first bike at the ripe old age of 60 I used to ride bikes in my misspent youth when as a learner driver then you could climb on any size bike you wanted and my first bike then was a Honda CB 400. I did talk about the Hoodlum in the video. This is how Chinese motorcycles work, a factory in china make the bikes and people can buy them branded in factory to their brand with small changes and sell them as totally different brand and model bikes. It is a very common thing to see, just like on amazon you can find say the same water bottle with 10 different brands.

Many thanks,
Jack.
Did u say u can ride this with only a cbt?
Yes just a cbt needed
Why Do they only give you 125 to review?
They don't make anything bigger atm.
@@spicy110 I know but I thought like Suzuki or somone like that would send you somthing
I pick the bikes I want to review. There are no new Suzuki's, but i am planning to do a couple of BMW's
@@spicy110 oh ok look forward to the videos mate btw love the videos 👌👍
@@spicy110 could you review the kawasaki z125?
Can you do a keeway superlight 125
1985 to 2019 ... 34 years. Depending on DOB you're 33 or 34...
Haha im 33 😆
@munchkin42 December 10th
@munchkin42 certainly is, plenty of time to get the embarrassing jumpers bought😂
Does it really reach 70mph ?
That's what he said, and he's about 15 stone!
is it automatic or manual?
Manual.
That a sinnis hoodlum with a different tracksuit lol....LITERALLY
It's the same base model bought from China, the sinnis has a couple of small differences as mentioned in the video. 🙂👍
Nice
Can we take seriously the claim of 173mpg please? Thanks.
Where is that claimed?
@@spicy110 On the Lexmoto web site: www.lexmoto.co.uk/models/ZS125-79-E4
Ok wow, yer I don't belive that at all. 100-120 maybe that I have heard of but 170+ 🤔 or should I say I would like to see the evidence.
@@spicy110 Many thanks. 173 seemed improbable! The ZSB is, on the same site, claimed to do 118mpg, perhaps that's true!! Stay safe.
Old intro music :(
Lol it was a very special bike lol
Nasty.... that will become iron oxide in 2 years
I had one... Way too slow
That kinda depends in the yard stick you hold it up to. It's a 125cc so yes very little power and it's a cruiser style that isn't designed for speed, hence the name.
It looks like it goes so slow
It's a 125cc cruiser with a 6ft 4 man on it. It's not exactly going to be blistering is it haha
spicy110 Im 5 ft 10 and 18 years old, could this thing do 80mph down the motorway or does it only do 79
spicy110 70
I would say it would do 70 but it would be the upper end of the speed.
.
It's just a crap Chinese made bike just in 2 years 🙄
Rusty they should of called it urs looks clean thoe👊
Thanks for the review as i couldn't find one anywhere else. 😊
Super review. a great bike for the money👍
Emm yesss. A picnic by the roadside, we do this because that is English!!!! 😂 😂 😂
A fine squirrel hasn't been taken down in his prime! 😂 😂 😂
Yeah you're pulse was a 57 plate
And some say you're taller than the average bear😉
You're 33 spicy😂
This looks just like the sinnis hoodlum, what's up with that ? 🧐🤔
