Ladies please wash the yarn. If you put unwashed yarn under the microscope it has dust mites in it along with other chemicals, bacteria, etc. I wash mine with Peppermint soap. Rinse well. I than soak it in vinegar and baking soda. Rinse well and wring out. Hang on bathroom shower rail and start braiding hair.
You can also towel dry the yarn too.
