- Are you ready to upgrade to Windows 11 but unsure if your PC is compatible? One of the key factors in ensuring compatibility is upgrading your Trusted Platform Module (TPM) from 1.0 to 2.0. In this video, we will show you how to upgrade TPM 1.0 to 2.0 in simple and easy-to-follow steps.
Before we start, let's make sure you have TPM 1.0 on your device. You can check the current version of your TPM by going to "Control Panel" - "System and Security" - "BitLocker Drive Encryption" and checking the version under "Device Encryption Support."
To check if your device is compatible with TPM 2.0, you can visit this link: support.hp.com.... This page will provide you with a list of devices that can be updated from TPM 1.2 to 2.0.
We will guide you through the entire process, starting from downloading the necessary drivers to installing them on your PC. The instructions will be given in a PDF generated in the drivers folder in the C drive, under the directory SWSETUP.

I updated TPM to 2.0 on my Elitebook 840 G3 a while ago. If used SP87753 in your attempt to update to 2.0, Go to c:\SWSetup\sp87753 and click on the User Guide and scroll down to the Returned Codes. Error code 306 is listed there. It says "VTx is currently enabled." It appears Intel Virtualization Technology (VTx) is enabled in your BIOS. If so, you can disable it and try to update TPM again and see what will happen.

Did a google search “Infineon tpm security update”. Link came up when it’s broken. Can’t fine any other link for it. Oh well.

First you need to google it to check if this model manufacturer supports updated TPM or not. Then come back and try doing it from the dell official website by updating drivers. Can also google tpm 2.0 for DELL 790 if available. Can also troubleshot from tpm settings

I don’t work for HP but i guess, this tool works for HP 840G3. You can check if the drivers are available for this model.

Normally it doesn’t happen. If that’s the issue then check virtual technology settings on your computer.
In my case it shows support for hp revolve 810 g3 in website but not in pdf what should i do
If your HP laptop is not shown in the list of laptops then scroll down the entire list on the online platform and see more relevant generations. I mean, if your HP laptop is 810 then you can find 809 which is closer to your generation. If that is not in the PDF, but available on online portal, then go for it.

You are the owner of your computer. If it ask you for the password, then of course that is your computer’s password, Otherwise, drivers are not encrypted with any security password

If you want it to install windows 11 then there’s a workaround and soon i will capture a video about it. To be honest there are dozens of models and companies so i can’t tell you about particular models. Check if your laptop name is available in the list i shown in this video.

Download the file again because there is no password. The file you will download is not encrypted. Maybe you got an error
If it still asks you about the passcode, then try from one to six
