1:16 Shame about the Chrysler building not being in Miles Morales or SM2
If they had added the detail of when it rains the NPCs have their umbrellas it would have been something truly incredible, even though the game looks incredible that detail would have raised the curtain more, I can't wait until tomorrow!
How?
@@darrylisaac9400because when it rains people use umbrellas

Just-WOW!
The Chrysler building is still missing I see , its a shame man
they dont have the rights
@@epzo I know 😔
why i feel a bit downgraded in the second version like the shadow
You're just jealous 😂😂 Spiderman 2 is technically much more advanced. It's using the full PS5 potential with 60fps Ray Tracing and instant loading times and render, particle effects are denser and smoother, the game is worlds ahead.
Really good video!
If sipder-man can ride a car, the 2 version would be look like a new GTA 😂
10 iconic towers of Manhattan are in lack in spiderman 2.
Liberty Tower, Chrysler Building, Central Park tower, Steinway Tower etc.
This is peak PS5 performance right here
Not much difference tbh.
I notice much better lighting shadow reflection and cool color grading and more puddles.
What you mean
the game is basically the same with better lighting, a copy and paste@@Crocc101
Go watch different comprasions. The differences in graphics are massive. There's not a single aspect that hasn't been upgraded in SM 2. They did amazing job
@@sebastiankaminski1270if it was massive it wouldnt look doable on last gen
@@southsidetherealest2860 if you really think last gen could run this game then I don't even know what to tell you.
Spider-Man 2 looks much more movie-like than the first game
100% looks photorealistic on tv compared to trashy youtube.
Reminds me of Ubisoft trailer vs actual gameplay videos.😄
0:48 do those ugly red abominations stay there permanently or can you make them go away?
Definitely a wait an grab. Game dont look special some of the remaster looks better especially in the park with leaves and grass 2nd game is just green with fake looking turf not grass. Crazy how some things got worse.
What an idiot. Its wait and grab because of graphics ? You must never play games and just look at them.
Central Park has way lively look in original.
Cannot wait for my Spider-Man 2 copy to arrive next week,
Why did you compare The remastered running at 30fps while 2 is at 60fps mode?
In some scenes the footage was speed up to match both sides (e.g. I recorded too slow camera movement) -that's why you may have 60fps feel.
I put that remark in video description.
Tbh it seems way more similar. Spidey is simply stunning looking game :)
@2:02 Did he lose some muscle mass in the second one? His back looks smaller.
Spiderman 2 has more less shadow thats why
More shimmer in the distance in Spiderman 2. Either it's upscaling from a lower resolution or using a different upscaler altogether.
The game hits lower resolutions at times in performance mode to account for all the new visual flourishes
Everything about spiderman 2 looks great compared to 1 except for the park scene at 2:54. The park in spiderman 1 looks significatnly better because of the leaves in the walkway and the bridge itself
damn, the first shot for spiderman 2 has the pedestrian floating lol. the color grading in spiderman 2 looks more neutral. It kind of reminds me of the LUT mods for starfield.
there's A LOT of problems in SM2... and if this is the patched version then i do not know how different it is compared to the unpatched version of the game...
there's a youtuber called 'Michael Does Life' and recently streamed it today and his live stream really really speaks to the type of game especially Insomniac are
@@godzillazfrictionno way you actually take Micheal does life seriously ☠️
@@darkshat3077 so what if i dont take him seriously... what does that have to do with anything... there's no way im taking you insomniac shills seriously though so there's that
@@godzillazfriction you’re very clearly using him as a supporting tool to the point you’re making, which is already stupid as hell. Insomniac Shill? Really? You sound just like the guy 💀
these graphics comparison looks way much better than it did 3 weeks ago, somehow.
The only problem that is still there is that the street and building wall textures looks way much poor, but I guess thats what happens when they rely much more on telling a story with real-time rendering
they using more realistic color grading and Cine Camera exposure on S2. S1 had some "artistic" color grading but I like S2 direction, more color popping, using Chromatic Arbritation effect as well
I platinumed spiderman remastered before playing spiderman 2 and I think 2 looks much better. Especially in the daytime
dude! buildings don't get a vertical bevel in remakes what is wrong with 11:12 it's a clear issue sony. see 2 sides to a building and you have 3. Spideman 2 is trash.
It’s because this dude is comparing the Performance mode on Spiderman 2 with the Quality mode in Spiderman Remastered 😂
I see many people going like "oh but sm2 is more photorealistic". I get the point, but its a videogame. Both have amazing graphics, but most of the first game footage feels more atmospheric than the latest one, and that counts a lot.
is spider-man 2 a better game? Im finishing the Remastered but im really frustrated with generic side-missions like car chases, crime thugs and purchasing pigeons. I thought it would improve on the DLCS but then again, finding missing frames of art is boring as hell. Appecciate some input
the baked lighting in the second game is insannnneeee

I remember everyone was complaining
Insomniac can take all my money! Beautiful job 👏
They literally did not change enything hahaha.
I like that City Smog at Spiderman remasterd.
So they saved the E3 demo look for Spiderman 2 huh
Im still a bit mad Chrysler building wasnt included in the map
Spider man 2 has definitely increased in LOD.
Massively.
Animation and movement looks miles better!!
Looks Glorious on my LG C2 fidelity 120 hz mode
Nice comparison man but depending on which patch ur on u may have a streaming issue for detail 😅
its just less yellow
I am glad ssr is a thing of the past. Because the funny thing with ssr, is that it’s still comput heavy
While being jarring, if I can’t have rt reflection, cube maps should be the only reflection technic available (because if consistency )
also a cool location comparison!
Spider-man 1 uses hollywood's Mexico filter. Spider-man 2 uses no filter
The problem is some of those shots it's a different time of day can't really compare like the stained window on the church cause the sun is in a different location, whats more it seems like some ray traced locations like times square aren't as wet on the 2nd game to be honest there were times when the 1st game looked better in the examples you've given i'd say it's 50 for instance the night scene under that light the suit seemed better lit in the first game than the second one it feels like it lacked shading depth on the details of the suit in the 2nd and some areas in the park looked better as the textures looked kinda flat in the second... that being said it might be due to bitrate on the video if the finer details are smaller and more subtle a then a lower bitrate wouldn't pick it up!
Im not sure SM2 looks better. Seems like the shadows and building windows are more detailed in SM1.
One thing i can say : this is not actual gen graphics im sorry, ps4 graphics with more fps and ray tracing.
You're just jealous 😂😂 Spiderman 2 is technically much more advanced. It's using the full PS5 potential with 60fps Ray Tracing and instant loading times and render, particle effects are denser and smoother, the game is worlds ahead.
First game got that weird realistic comic look to it
When this game comes out on PC the graphics are gonna be crazy, especially when the 5090 is gonna be out
And by that time I'll probably still won't have enough for a 4090
When the game comes out on PC the graphics are still going to be a lot worse than Cyberpunk and Alan Wake 2 with path tracing
@@albanier8426 I get path tracing is good but you're literally comparing Alan Wake 2 to spiderman???
Pc is overrated and you can’t build a pc that plays better the PS5 or Xbox and pay the same price as a console nope you can’t lmao
The advanced suit mark 1 looks so outdated compared to mark 2 now.
The 1st game looks much better for some reason that's weird. The rain looks nicer in 2 at least. 1 had an atmosphere, 2 looks it lost that personality.
The buildings, suits, lighting, water, reflections, draw distance all look better on the new game, quit coping.
Yea exactly, i dont know how these people keep saying that Spider man 2 looks better, like the night time obviously is better in 2nd game, but daytime, oh boy, 2nd part sucks so bad
@@macbeth642 tecnicly looks better in 2 generally but that's not what I mean. Cinematic presentation in 1 is outstanding even the web swinging looks smoother
thats your opinion but I disagree, looks smoother in the new game, much more similar to Miles Morales than spiderman 1@@Dragonfury3000

Spiderman 2 is truly next-gen
very true, i mean its not like the only thing that changed is a color filter 🤣
Spider-Man ps4 vs Spider-Man 2 ps5 we are talking about ps4 vs ps5 it’s a no brainer what wins but this comparison is ps5vsps5 and this is a good comparison that shows that time to devolp with a powerful console makes all the difference and a remaster that took 1 year and a couple of months wasn’t a fair match
It is just an ENB of GTA4 intaled in the game.
GTA4's New York is way better made since it is way more interactive. Npcs are actually walking through the city; and cars does drive around the map.
Try follow a car in Spider-Man 2, it creates a traffic jam at first intersection, so the game don't need to bother with driving cars randomly.
The only positive thing about Human-Spider 2 is the size of the city. Great job, the only best thing against all gta maps.
Both games have their pro's and cons. Overall they did amazing job with the graphics.
@@gn2727 Yea this (Spiderman 2) doesn't scream PS5 to me either.

Yes
I mean it's not the best looking open world game by any means but it's still pretty af. There are some decent upgrades to textures and lightning
Which open world is the best to you?
@@marcusmoore2942 the best or best looking? From pure graphical tech nothing comes close to CP2077. CP with path tracing (or even with just RT) is the only game that looks like it's already a generation ahead. Horizon Forbidden West also pushed tech more than Spider Man 2.
Anyway - Like I said - SM2 is gorgeous and has nothing to be ashamed of.
I feel like Horizon, Spiderman and Cyberpunk each have their strengths.
I think what sets Spiderman apart from Cyberpunk is the combination of being able to run RT at 60fps on console while also allowing for insane traversal speed.
@@teehundeart Well I'm not talking anything away from Insomniac. Hell - Most games are not groundbreaking technical marvels. That was my entire point - Game looks great and it's a nice improvement over the 1st one. That's it. It was that other bloke that asked what games have better tech behind them.
@@teehundeart Cyberpunk let's you drive vehicles and Horizon Forbidden West has flying. Spiderman has no advantage there. A lot of Open world games look as good and better, both last generation and this generation. They seem to have downgraded vegetation, clutter and other up close details in Spiderman 2, or the Spiderman Remaster upgraded them to superior quality than Sm2, I haven't looked at the original.
Red Dead redemption 2 looks better at all distances, especially up close.
Now i just have to wait a few years to be able to play it on pc 😢
I like how trash on grounds always same spot 😂 No one clean mess up
spiderman 1 looks amazing, actually.
Oversaturated mess compared to Spiderman 2
Its hard to tell which one has ray tracing as it doesn't make much difference, its just like some filter
