Not just that, he had a tremendous amount more in the tank since the Dryad Arbor had over 30 counters on it after the Jacked Rabbit attack. He was in zero danger.
Yeah Fred wasn’t gaining any life moving those counters around. He would have been fine regardless. Lots of people sleep on black panther I think he’s one of the best commanders from marvel.
Dang... after the first few rounds I thought the Verrak deck clearly had the inside track, but Fred's deck just blew up with Mondrak and Divine Visitation. Well played game!

Normally, living in þe swamp, I can draw a pretty direct line between dealing w quebecois and dealing w cajuns, but I'm at a loss as to what it means here, and would love it explained orz
In Quebec we have an array of swear words centered around religion, one of which is Calisse (derived from chalice) and it's pronounced pretty much like Korlis but without the r.
Shame that the Alchemy version of "Sigardian Paladin" doesn't exist IRL or it would've been a great way to solve the trample issue Fred mentioned. Ah well, there's always Garruk's Uprising and Hunter's Talent, I suppose.

This is one of the few games I've seen where a deck with no green out-ramped two decks with green.
