Erodgan Slams Netanyahu Govt, Says It's Outright Genocide In Gaza | Dawn News English

- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called the situation in Gaza "genocide" rather than war, and is urging for a ceasefire to allow the people of Gaza some relief.
Speaking at the National Defense University Graduation Ceremony, Erdogan stated that Türkiye has pressed for increased pressure on Israel at the recent NATO summit, and emphasized that no regional country, including Türkiye, can feel completely safe as long as Israel seeks security through occupation.
Erdogan also discussed Türkiye's counter-terrorism efforts, vowing to soon "close the lock" on the Operation Claw Zone in northern Iraq, where terrorist groups like the PKK often operate.
