Easy Manitowoc ice machine troubleshooting

Service call on a Manitowoc ice machine. Found the machine had a bad compressor. Went through the troubleshooting process to determine why the manitowoc ice machine wasn’t working.

Bro maintvoc ice machine doesn’t produce ice and the machine frequently turns to off mode then we have to switch it on again… after sometime it goes back to off mode? Any suggestions

Without being there in person to look at your machine I’d have a difficult time trying to figure out your problem. Call Manitowoc and talk to one of them. They can help you out over the phone.

I’d bet that fan switch not working is what took out the compressor.

Wow, Barely into 2024 & a 2021 unit allready Junk compressor. only 3 years old. At Least Compressor should be under warranty from manufacturer.
Manitowoc quality ? or installer issue ?
i'd lean more to possible install issue.
better double check everything.
definitely replace Low pressure switch , most likely took out compressor.
