no lemon just common old car issues i believe, I dont like that alarm tho, that needs to go or else you'll have problems with the car not starting for no reason ahaha
Great vid chaps... sometimes buying older gets you these surprises, funny how things are working perfectly when you Jan over the cash, then one week later things start to go pear shape...🤪
Looking forward to follow up episodes on this fellas. I am currently transplanting a Barra into my 89 Maverick and keeping the old RE4, so will need to modify the auto a bit for it all to work and am hoping I can learn a thing or two from this series of videos. Cheers
All good workshop people should get down on their hands and knees and give thanks to the generosity Nissan of owners in keeping them in plenty of business!
What do we/you expect. Buy old because it's less complicated. But it has to be expected if you don't do a rolling restoration to bring the vehicle to zero kilometres mechanically. It's what you get. I rather have this, saving doing things yourself taking your money further. What you save in labour you can put to knowledge gained about vehicle, money towards travel and accessories
Perfect timing I just sat down👍🏻
This is some top tier Aussie back and forth, love it!
Ripper vid, the banter between these two is hilarious
Loved the banter 😂
2 fingers or 1?? Hahahaha
11:00 This was great.. just cracked open a cold one
Laughing to hard now to finish my beer
Classic, you got that out quick, better then I expected..

This really explains the reliability of patrols in one vid
Funny guy
The Toyota & Nissan banta is too good 😂😂
Can’t wait for more videos on this GQ
Awesome vid fellas!!
the only part of the patrol that is not lemon is the colour!
We want to see his Hilux!!
Better be a Manual swap boy
Great video guys
The video we all wanted
So in the end what was wrong with the auto
Good video mate
If you did overgrease the slip joint, how would you go about removing the excess grease?
Just remove the grease nipple to let the pressure out 👍
Much easier to undo the other end of the handbrake cable and leave it with the box fellas
...and GU patrol used autos are how much?
I’ve been wondering about this car
More Aussie Arvos!
I sware I know James
Hilux boy shakes whenever they sees a isuzu dmax. 😂😂😂😂
That high waist orange and blue color boundery is distracting. No idea why
half of that shit could of been undone with a uni and a rattle gun
Just the usual teething problems you get buy any second hand car... just some teething problems are a little more expensive than others...
Shoulda bought a cruiser
Would still break and costs twice as much to fix. Patrol ftw
Woulda blown a diff as soon as it saw gravel, and as old mate said, itl cost twice as much
Hectic
Hilux guy trying to pay out Patrols?! Hahaha..
Hahaha typical hilux owners...
@@uptheau2875 not all of us hate patrols/mavs, I for one love em specially the flex and room ahahahaha
