Run strips of metal in uniformed lines across the ceiling and glue magnets to the box protectors You Can move them around and chop and change whenever you want The metal strips can be painted white so any gaps won’t piss you off
@ Agreed but eventually taking them on and off changing about it will loose it’s stick end up pulling paint off the wall ect. Also to get all those dots perfectly alined and central would be an ocd nightmare Velcro will work though don’t get me wrong
I would keep the ceilings clear as it would look too overcrowded and darken the room. For the main wall instead of completely forward facing have you tried to put them at say a 45 degree angle with them overlapping for half the front part, Obviously not ideal but with limited space worth trying to see what it looks like as you still get to see more than the spine and the colour coordinated effect but should increase capacity a fair amount without any major renovations until a more permanent solution can be found.
With the amount of games you have, and you are still growing it, it is actually not feasible to have games front facing unfortunately. Having the SNES/Genesis at 45 degrees or just showing the sides would increase your space tremendously.
I'd leave ceiling clear tbh, I think it creates more problems than it solves and it will darken the room, lower ceiling & make it feel smaller (regardless of solution). The 45 degree/overlap idea is the best idea but not sure it'll generate enough space for 200 more games. Might have to admit defeat and have one or 2 runs spines only. The pain if collecting and space!
I feel like you should copy the bottom row at the top to store more games and start making the middle section the killer SNES games, either that or you remove the roof and add a first floor with stairs 😂
Top video cal! I may have commented on this already. Solution for your shelving problem. Have a clear shelf underneath the cardboard and above it. That way they can slide in and out - hopefully makes sense! I have a similar thing for my iPad for my darts set up. Brothers ghetto!
Ghetto Rag... You know I was staying for that action. Cheers for the kind words. Only way I can think of getting them games on the roof would be 2 IKEA mosslanda shelves one upside down. As long as you have the clearance to rest them in but also lift them out (kinda how them glass doors on cabinets work) it would work. Don't want to have to slide them all the way down. Other option is double up on the bottom row but you use that space. Great charity finds
Your ceiling… ask kev about making a simple polycarbonate clear u-profile and make yourself some custom tracking. It’s only a case of bending the plastic into a u shape that is the same thickness as a snes box. 2cm x 2cm x 2cm something like that. That way you’re not sticking anything in place and you have easy quick access to the games.
Clear Perspex fixed to the ceiling that comes half way up the box so you can slot the game into the clear shelf and it can be pulled out when you want.
Callum, Have you thought about command strips? It would allow 4 more rows and the back strip would stay on the wall and the 2nd half stay on the box protector. Slow to move around, but would look amazing
BROTHERS GHETTO. Watching you play Equstrian Training has cracked me up highlight of my morning so far Ghetto Rag. Looking forward to the next obscure game ha ha
That horse at the end was in dire need of the #ghettorag 🤣😂 Cracking stuff from the charity shop and you are right, there is still stuff out there, its all about the passion and the will to keep checking ✌️ Lookinh forward to the updated SNES wall 👍 BawHawHaw-legend 💙
do the same thing you did with snes but at an angle so at the top and the bottom, so the games live in a row being held up by these shelves, depending on how tight the shelves are together depends on if you have to slide them in sideways or pop them on or off the shelf. Just an idea, have a nice day.
One thing to look out for in charity shops is Windows PC 95/98 games. Some people seem to pass them by because they don't think they're worth anything but it's possible to find some real rarities sometimes.
For the ceiling I wud go with 2 shelves with lips on them like u already have. Have one inverted on top so the game is sort of hanging there and that waybyou can push it back from one side to take it down to play/move things around.
My answer for you would be to sell Off your mega drive collection. I myself would collect all mega drive but you love the snes and having both walls in cardboard snes would be amazing.
Brothers ghetto Absolute adore the brother in arms games and especially this 360 one, always a huge fan of squad command games like this and republic commando and brute force
Maybe bungie ties of something of that elk where you can have pins screwed to the ceiling between each game & you could use ties & unclipped which ever game you want to move, or clamps with a nut, either way I think it will have to be custom build, but hope you find a solution. Great charity shop find
Getto Rag That post credit game was erm interesting 😂. Awesome finds, asking usually doesn’t result to anything but the deals are still out there. It’s just consistency at the end of the day. Another great vlog.
I went mental this year and started picking up Star Wars games for the Gameboy. Flight of the Falcon is one of the worst, most unplayable games I’ve ever played. I’d love to see you give it a go!
Amazing pick up with Wolverine Adamantium Rage, not the best game but my god the soundtrack is killer. Contains the first ever Grime instrumental, before grime was even a thing. The music designer was from London and going to a lot of raves in the early 90s, he had limited space left in the game so had to make the music super simple to not take up much space. the result is awsome. "Boss music 2" is the grime track in question. One of my favorite Snes soundtrack alongside waterworld, another bad game with incredible music. Great Video bro, been a fan for years really enjoy watching your channel grow, you are a big part of weekly routine. Respect brother!
Ghetto Rag 😂😂great great video as always look forward to new ghetto videos 👍🏻 also question I have two genuine Nintendo wireless retro snes controllers for my vintage snes but I can only have one working at a time so I’m not able to use both to do two players, is there a way round this I.e an adapter you can buy I’m guessing there working on the same frequency or something any help would be appreciated thanks
i almost didn't go to my local chairty shops the other day.. i'm so glad i forced myself to go out and look in them though. got a untested ps1 with 3 contollers, untested ps2 with 2 controller and 8 games (6 ps1, 1 wii, 1 ps4) all for £35. One of the ps1 games being marvel super heroes complete with manual (just need to do a case swap on it).
Hi mate, been an avid follower of yours for a couple years now and you keep the content fresh and entertaining keep it up 👍 looking at starting to collect ps3, going to buy a ps3 around Xmas hopefully get a good deal from somewhere online and I like to collect steelbook , cardboard sleeves similar to yourself : do you have any tips on regards to collecting ps3?
Another top video ! That was some charity shop pick up ! I’m on the lookout for the Gears tin so I’m well jealous you got it for £1 in that condition ! Amazing ! Did a CEX lottery for warriors legend of Troy. Got a decent copy for £20 & I’m loving playing it
you could just turn the snes games to the side like the lowest ones are and then have few like 5-10 cover showing, that would propably give you lot more room, tho i do understand that they look pretty when the front cover is facing you
Dont stick them but use a plastic shelf that almost wrapped wround the wall and had a lip at the top and the bottom lay the game sideways and push the game backways to allow it to lift over the botyom lip (im probably not making much sense)😂 it works in my head, just one row so its easy to reach and doesn't over power i thnk that could work ask Kev to help maybe 3D print the shelfs would look sick
J shaped shelves with the top one upside down so you can slide the SNES games in from the side might work, you can even get J shelves with bigger lips for the top ones so you can take games in and out like second glazing windows are fitted, hopefully what im saying makes sense
Hmm... I wonder if its possible to have small magnets spread around the ceiling and have magnetic strips on the box protectors? Could be a stupid idea ha but a idea nonetheless 👍and if you're worried about having to switch stuff out constantly then perhaps you could look at what you already have and build a theme around that Edit: you could even have like all boxes one colour and then green boxes in between on the ceiling to spell out Retro Ghetto
If you do go onto the ceiling, my first thought was a big double sided Velcro strip all the waY across the width probably 2 strips (or less or more depending on thickness/strength) then little bits on the back of a box protector so u can take them off easily without ruining anything but very interested to see what u do next! BROTHERS GHETTO
That charidee shop haul is ridiculous value, nice. Was just listening to a James Brown xmas album, theres a tune on there called 'Santa Claus Go Straight To The Ghetto'
Could you not turn the games horizontal and double stack them? I know you might need to move the shelves around a touch, but it would keep the nice flow, and allow for a lot more.Love your vids 🙏🙏
That Devil may cry is fantastic condition. Fantastic haul in that charity shop, Nintendo cardboard in the wild and for £1 each 🤯 That SNES Wolverine game is superb, I still need it on the Mega Drive myself but one day :) GhettoRag - #GhettoHorseLife
I think you should use the IKEA picture shelves but use one at the top and one on the bottom and then slide the games in, the picture shelves will hold the games and you don’t have to stick them to the wall and it will be accessible by sliding games out
See you have the IKEA picture shelves on the top and bottom of the game so they won’t fall. It’s really hard to explain but the top shelf will have to go on the opposite way round so the lip of the shelf will hold the top of the game and the bottom shelf will hold the bottom of the game

Or use plastic cable duct. One side on the wall and small strips on the box protectors.

Clear Perspex shelving, measured tight so it can slot the games in. Keep it clear to allow full game view. Bingo.
Maybe a staggered display will help with the SNES wall? For every 1 forward facing game you could have 2 sideways, or even 1 for 1👍
One thing to look out for in charity shops is Windows PC 95/98 games. Some people seem to pass them by because they don't think they're worth anything but it's possible to find some real rarities sometimes.

I think you should use the IKEA picture shelves but use one at the top and one on the bottom and then slide the games in, the picture shelves will hold the games and you don’t have to stick them to the wall and it will be accessible by sliding games out
That's a lot of screws in ceilings and... would need away to keep top of game from falling out
See you have the IKEA picture shelves on the top and bottom of the game so they won’t fall. It’s really hard to explain but the top shelf will have to go on the opposite way round so the lip of the shelf will hold the top of the game and the bottom shelf will hold the bottom of the game
