I just bought this rack for my JKU. I was hoping to mount my rotopax water and gas tanks at the same point so one is on the inside of the rack and the other is on the outside. The teraflex video briefly shows it but not what bracket that is needed. Have you done this at any point?
To be honest I do not have any attachment for this rack so far. I do use it heavily but primarily the tray. I thought about getting mounts for rotopax, and information is limited. I actually will be installing a water tank so won’t need rotopax. But I’m looking for a solution to mount a bigger propane tank on the inside.
Nice! Just installed and put some rotopax on both sides. Have you had any issues with the spot welds cracking in the inside of the tailgate or the bolt through the back tailgate vent pulling through? Seems to be too heavy and worried it’ll mess up the tailgate over time
@@anthonyarenella2541 this thing is solid mine has no issue so far, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. What size rotopax did you mount and is it on the inside or outside?
@@OverlandPlus okay, cool. Thanks! I have a 2 gallon gas on the side that is on the outside and a 2 gallon water on the outside of the other side. There is enough room for another 1 gallon on the inside where the water rotopax is.
Mine rattles going over bumps. Living in California, that is pretty much every inch of the highway. The rack itself is pretty solid but, being as tall as it is it creates some serious leverage on the top latch side of the tailgate, causing a rattle. It’s very annoying and I am regretting spending 1k for this thing.

Ah sorry to hear that. You have it on Jk? I have no such rattle.
On the top, there is supposed to be an Inch Aluminium Spacer (provided in the kit), just making sure you have used that?
