I am installing the Bantam, now on my jku. There is alot of excessive wire under the hood. Did you cut back any of the excess wire to the battery? I am not very good with electrocity. I don't want to mess this up.

I hate how my RTT floor gets so wet. Would these not just get wet too and stay wet and therefore get mouldy? My first impression would be that you would just have wet carpet tiles . Has it actually proved to work?

SO! I have a 2024 Wrangler and this just started happening. It's under warranty - supposedly. I bring it to the dealer to be addressed and you know what they said???? They said this is NORMAL. WHAT THE LITERAL F IS GOING ON. Normal? What a crap company.

Please, what did you use to crimp those two black wires. The black 8g wire doesn't fit into any of my crimpers. I searched the internet and came up empty. This is the only connection holding up my install

I have a completely different issue with my 1 month old Bantam X. I initialy order the HD Switch panel and installed everything per instructions and followed the instructions to connect it to my Bluetooth which it did, however none of the switches worked and couldnt be programmed. They sent me a new one, same thing, nothing worked. Then they sent a Touchscreen saying it didnt need to pair and would work perfectly out of the box. I recieved it, installed it and hooked the ethernet cable up and nothing worked again but this time the Touchscreen would light up but it never showed the battery voltage or the curcuit board temperature. Between emails back and forth they determined my curcuit board was defective and overnighted me a new one to switch out in the morning. The entire time it has been installed in my Jeep whenever I removed the cover the green and yellow lights would be flashing where the 2 ports for the ethernet cable plug in. Im not sure if that is a sign of a defective board also but I will know more tomorrow once I make the swap.

I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. This is my third Jeep. I had a 1997 Wrangler. My last one was a 1995 Wrangler Sport with roll down windows(Zippers, like a tent!) and both soft top. All manual transmission. I NEVER had flooding in the old ones. My Jeep now is flooding profusely! I’ve never taken the hard top off. Any advice fellow Jeep enthusiasts?

What happens if this part fails? Anything drastic?

I have to connect 2 strand 10g wires together and put them into the same ring connector. The hole in the connector looks too small for the wires. However, the ring connector for 8g wire is more than enough to accept the 10g wires. So could I use the 8g connector for the 10g wire?
