Its a Royal Palace not a Castle. Yes the Yeoman Warders who are also known as Beefeaters all live inside along with the Governor, Dr and clergy with their families. The Beefeater who did your tour I know and she is only the 3rd woman to do it, all have served in the Armed Forces to qualify to become one. We go there every Dec as guests of the Yeoman Warders and love it. You need at least 1/2 day to see and do everything.
The Tower of London was really something. A lot to see and learn there. The crown jewels must've been spectacular. Lots of ice on Jamie's ankle will help. An ace wrap would help also. She may get enough support from that to help her see the sights. You mentioned the craziness that went on with the lions and elephants in the Tower; there's a good bit of inbreeding in the British royalty, even up to present times. Marriages to cousins is not uncommon.

This is a trip of a lifetime for many and I’d hate for her to miss out on this great adventure. Hope Jamie’s foot does ok. It’s terrible to have something like that happen while on vacation. Maybe she can rest it at night with an ice pack, and wrap it during the day. Fingers crossed for the trip to Paris!

I agree a date should be posted...one reason these videos are posted after the fact is for safety reasons, plus the videos have to be edited...and that can take hours...

@@sheilawillis490 Thats a lot of work editing and a wonderful blessing to see London especially for folks who is handicapped not able to travel or folks who can’t financially afford it. Will always does a great job explaining details in his videos. Had to edit this - forgetting to say , the Hearing Impaired seeing sights and the blind who can only hear details. Will is a very kind, nice person a real blessing to many!

so cool, we saw mid-eveil stuff at the Alcatraz crime museum in Pigeon Forge, wow those guards have to be tired after marching high step for hours, the armour is something I bet seeing it all in person is super cool praying Jamie's foot feels better quickly have her apply some kind of pain creme to it like bengay it helps with bruising type pain to heal quicker

How exciting to see the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels. There is alot of history there. It is hard to imagine seeing a building that old. So sorry to hear about Jamie's accident. I hope and pray that she is feeling a lot better now and that it did not impede your trip too much. I hope that she was not in a lot of pain and discomfort.

I enjoyed the Tower of London. I saw the Crown Jewels that they brought out Queen Elizabeth’s funeral on display in there.
They had a menagerie there when those animals were truly exotic to people at the time.
