I just wanna share to you about the cost of living here in Pohnpei, Micronesia.
Micronesia is a great place to live and people here are very friendly 😊. Mostly supplies here came from outside countries like U.S, China, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.
Prices here mostly expensive once we compare it to Philippines.

It depends,as I know was starts at $350-$750 ... There's an outside board on some groceries here and it was posted some information about it.
As someone who has lived in a big city their whole life, I find it so fascinating that there are people who live in these islands. Was really curious how life is there, thanks for sharing!

This is insane. A tropical island but tropical veggies and fruits are imported. Island does not grow anything local, which it easily can.
They have a few markets in Kolonia with local fruits and veggies, especially the best karat bananas. The thing is that locals mostly prefer to grow kava pepper

No there are no arabs here but your welcome, you can come and live here.
It looks like globalization has made self sulstaning cultures into commerce traders highly dependent on the globe. If you try to keep your purchases and money on the island. The more the island will thrive. I would avoid buying imported goods as much as possible.

Direct hire po ako, referred by a relative po.
Try finding business n schools, its easy. Now that there covid, plenty openings.

Just curious, but does Pohnpei add sales tax, or is the GRT included in the price you see marked on the shelf? Here on Guam, GRT is added in already.
Only 2 major stores here have sales tax. The tax is already added into purchase for other stores.

Yes actually, Private Businesses and Government Sector actually have a lot of openings available.
@@jojibarredo6069 Don’t forget to mention when entering the country on contract there are rules and policies to abide by. It doesn’t mean they get a job they can stay permently in Pohpnei or FSM. And beside they are to train the locals and if they don’t they can be reported to Labor division and posisbly get terminated and deported.

Hello Hamza, no they cannot. The only people allowed to have nationality are people who were born citizens or people who were naturalized.
