It’s a good middle ground. Better than thestraightpipes, worse than Savagegeese.
Mach 1 has this thing for MT, thats called "no lift shift", so u keep your right foot flat on the floor while you clutch and shift - that keeps the rev on match and so you get better acceleration times..
We used to call this speed shifting back in the day. 70s, 80s.
Most manuals can do that. Once or twise... XD
It’s also called flatfoot shifting. In theory you can do it on any car
@@frank8040 Yes but NLS uses programming to make sure you don’t destroy your trans. The 755hp zr1 has it as well, Chevy has been doing it for a long time.
V8. Ahh the sound of heaven.
So much want. Sounds just fantastic. The Tremec manual gearbox makes it worth it alone compared to GT's garbage Getrag manual gearbox. Makes a huge difference
A car for real drivers.
My parents’ car when I was young was a 1972 Mach 1 with similar yellow with black stripes.
Fighter Jet Grey colour is the coolest looking for sure..... 😁

The gearing unfortunately is not the 3:73 on the export models. We get 3:55 which makes the gears long even though the Tremec in the M1 has shorter gearing compared to the MT82 in the regular GT.
Also we don't get the Torsen-diff :(
I would get the Twister Orange with A10 :)
Having owned a GT with the A10 and comparing and M6 with the A10 the performance gains with the A10 are just outstanding. The official timing for the M6 has to be taken with a grain of salt

Greate review!!! In aerodynamics Mach=1 is the when airspeed=speed of sound; but its value changes with ambient conditions (i.e speed of sound is different at different altitudes)

How much is it there ? Here in Croatia its 92k euros, you can get 2 of them for that in the US lol
Why do hey tax configuration instead of actual epa figures and mpg?
Base GT is 77k euros in Finland, Mach1 102k euros.

If price is no object, the two best Mustangs regularly produced are the Shelby Super Snake (825bhp) and the Hennessey Venom 1000 (1000bhp) which take the regular 500GT to new places. For track only the Mustang GT3 and GT4 are super light and do alot with about 550bhp and absolutely no creature comforts.

Next time you're in California check out Highway 74 from San Juan Capistrano to Lake Elsinore ,, basically you start near the beach and go inland for 1hr with lots of twists and turns through a forest/mountains with zero traffic lights from the 10min mark to the 1hr finish in lake elsinore

It is such a shame that this car did not get a better safety rating. If you crash in this your chances are not good.

10 speed automatic gearbox is silly though with that engine ... 6 would have been fine in the auto. When it gets that many gears it means you tend to leave it in auto mode rather than manual because who wants to change down 5 or 6 gears when overtaking or such manually ? Stupid.

In the US version, yes. In Europe, for reasons that I don't know, it is rated at 460 metric HP = 454 imperial hp.
