Ok, the first few times I heard this, I thought it had lost the atmosphere that made the first album so magical, but now I see I rushed into that verdict. After 2 days of listening to this almost non-stop, I can say that my initial impression was a little off. This is truly great. I'm glad it follows the same line of the previous album and sticks to the formula that worked so well before. Thanks for this beautiful music, Autumn Nostalgie and BMP.
I can see what you mean, it’s somehow “rougher” or less lush than the first record, but it is majestic. Melodically it nails it where some BM falls short; a lot has more atmosphere than substance, this is sort of the opposite.
The layers of sounds and melodies that echo like passing ghosts of the living that have passed at the beginning of this flow into the new atmospheres created on this I love this band. Just so beautiful
