It's 11:48 PM, December 24th, 2022 And I'm wrapping Christmas presents for my three children who have no idea what doubt and despair and resentment they will face in the world as they age. We are all in this darkness together.
Does it never make you rethink antinatalism? I suppose any real moments of genuine joy or mysticism make the task more meaningful and ultimately endurable. But it's a big maybe, at least for the hypermodern dystopia apparently awaiting. As long as there's meaning in the suffering it isn't even bad; good, even-but it won't be easy to hold on to. As Schopenhauer said: No rose without a thorn sure, but many a thorn with no rose. He also said that if you put a spoonful of sludge into a barrel of wine you have sludge; if you put a bottle of wine in a barrel of sludge, you have sludge.

I can't understand the feelings that this band awakens in me. Without a doubt, it was the best discovery for years and years. Two amazing albums that I listen to every day! It's part of my daily life.

Bin Thrash Metal Fan seit 1986 und konnte Black Metal eigentlich nie leiden. Hab diese Band gestern Abend durch puren Zufall entdeckt und bin begeistert. Sehr emotional, sehr schwermütig und es sind auch Elemente jenseits des Black Metal dabei. Meiner Meinung nach hat Autumn Nostalgie definitiv das Talent, um ganz groß zu werden. Memento vivere läuft im Dauer Modus. Grüße aus Österreich!

Metal truly can be anything. A genre to express anger, sadness, joy, loneliness, sorrow, despair, power, etc. This is why I adore Metal above any other genre, Autumn Nostalgie really gives me a mixed feeling and made me think about some things whenever it's night and quiet. Really love it \m/

I only discovered this band a few weeks ago thanks to BMP and TH-cam,they've totally blown me away,I've had both albums on repeat since.Theyre totally flawless.
MUCH better than "Esse Est Percipi", which had some good moments, but could grow stale over time and had some boring parts... this is more focussed, with better songwriting. I also appreciate that it's shorter, just an half hour of great music with no fluff or filler. I'm really pleasantly surprised, will have to buy this...

Very strong and unique! The melodies are lovely - more like Post-Rock and therefore more melancholic instead of depressive/aggressive. A good mix out of Black Metal, lighter Rock elements and dreamy aspects - i like it!
