I used to teach in a school opened in 1907, in 🇬🇧 a beautiful late Edwardian building. Every day the headteachers wrote in a log book in the beautiful old script with a feather quill, then later a fountain pen, from the first day until the mid sixties. They were fascinating! We sent them to the archives department in the town library for anyone to enjoy. I got quite good at reading the old writing 😁 Cursive handwriting is taught quite early here now, I was surprised when my American ex not only couldn’t do it he would print with a mix of upper & lower case, very strange to me

I have Tim Holtz scissors and have not had to sharpen them, yet. 💐🥰
