Yes, they are my favorite books to decorate.
I finally started this project after finding composition notebooks with college lined paper for $0.50 each at Walmart. Covered the front and back last night, inside and out. Woke up this morning…was so happy with how it looked…then tried to open it. About half of my pages were stuck together! 😳🤣 Thankfully was an easy but slow process to separate using a letter opener. Lesson learned. 😊

You can use it in a traditional journaling style, or glue pictures and use more are a scrapbook. Drawing in it with writing and pictures for art journaling. Some one said they used them for record keeping, school work. Use it any way you wish, we just made it pretty and or cute. Decorate it any way with any style.

I love these composition notebooks. Would definitely make nice gifts, and would also be a great way to take a creative break in between making traditional journals, which I'll need after finishing up the two I'm working on now. 😵

Great idea. In our group we make Christmas notebooks out of the same composition notebooks. They really turn out nice.

I make these books for my grandchildren and their friends birthdays. I use fabric /Fairies, Princesses, Sharks and Dinosaurs. I’ve used both but fabric is my fav. Like you say they are a lot of fun to make❣️Thanks for the tips.

Don't know if you noticed, but you paper in your envelope matched up. Hope it works on your second.
there are so many sheets of paper; can some be removed to be able to decorate more. you know lesson the bulk.
If you want to do that, I would glue some pages together. These papers are sewn in ( at least my books are) that means you could remove some papers like in an altered book style.

I know everyone has personal preferences. A lot of viewers enjoyed watch the process of choosing papers. I’m sorry you did not enjoy it. You can always fast forward that part. I make a video everyday and I don’t always choose papers. Hopefully you can find videos I have that you enjoy. 🥰💐

I get so nervous about the fact that is a composition book altered, and I don't want people complaining about that fact.
I made one for my friend as a birthday gift, and a coworker saw it and wanted one for his wife, and he asked her how much for them, and I really don't know what to say.

I was also going to ask that question , as Iam making some for a craft fair this year . The average price I ‘ve seen on Etsy was $10 to $13 ??
