Please judge me! Criticism is always welcome from all ranks as it will get me to think about how to play better and improve my strategies. Overall my next goal is to enter a small tournament or even push towards conquer III someday 💪

U did it really well at the beginning till the 10-12 minute mark. You need to send out some raiding groups and stay with ur main army in the middle. Especially at that time u pushed the Japanese right in front of their buildings it would be so easy to split 6 knights into 2 groups and send them out in 2 different directions.
The second mistake was clearly that you produced mass archers instead of horseman in castle age. Japanese got just archers and crossbow.
Without raiding it's pretty hard to compete against the economy of Japan.
But keep up the good work. I really like it to watch ur games
Thank you for the feedback! I'll try to keep up the raiding pressure and yeah was not the best choice and also I feel mass knights wasn't the best. I got tunnel vision where I was thinking what if he does this rather then reacting to what i am seeing now.

I'm pretty new to the game. I would say the lack of raiding in the 2nd half of the game when he was 2 TC, not making a magnolia sooner to counter his archers, not putting a relic in the keep, building a couple frontal outposts to get more vision during the back and forth in the middle, and then not going in to Swabia after his push on your keep failed. Your still way better than me though.
In hindsight I agree you are right. That's really good especially you are new to the game. This is good feedback and your points should work so thank you :)
You did not play your civ properly, you should have gone with swapia after you mined enough stone, get fortified towers with upgrades, and defend while booming, which should not be difficult as you got 4 relics with cathedral
