Battery charging is such a huge part of modern life, 😊 I'm willing to spend a little bit to make it work better. One of the most sickening feelings I've ever had was going on a professional job and have forgotten to charge the camera batteries. An Al Green video of all things!😅
I was leaning towards the smaller one but now that I know the bigger one has the capability to charge other devices, I think that’s the one I will go with. Thank you for sharing!
I have got one, it is very nice except the "silicon" finishing that will "melt" in a few years time. Please let the manufacturer know and change the finishing.
Lovely collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I only used that bag a few times, haha. Also, love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch in the DE print and love the little chain. But I donât want to spend so much money on it now, I have been kislux buying the bag I want, it is as good as LV and is one of my favorite things. Durability
Oh, yeah, I ran into these for the ZV-E10 a while back and got one for the FX3. Extremely convenient for travel. These with a good power bank = compact all day power. I wish they made one for the BMPCC 6k pro battery.
I've had the charger only version with 2 batteries for my A6700 for a few months, excellent. Also, as you noted, the case is as smooth as a baby's bottom...
I’ve been eye balling those for awhile just haven’t pulled the trigger yet because I’m not busy enough to drain a single battery yet. Hopefully I get there soon and can buy one!
Lindgren one is much more compact and takes 3 instead of two and can support 8 card storage. This one is more stylish, premium feeling to me and is much cheaper (and the little one shows the battery percentage). But it is a little bulky for sure.
Pretty wild in May I bought the Llano Sony NP-FZ100 charger on Temu for $19, it's since been removed from there. Same unit with the same model number. Works great I'd highly recommend it even at the current sale price of $43
My favourite is the SmallRig FZ100 batteries with the USB-C port built in, I can even keep it plugged in while in use and the camera doesn't heat up like when charging them through the camera's USB-C's port! - this is neat but looks huge.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Not V-Mount, SmallRig FZ100 batteries with USB-C built in :) - so a tiny solution and you can use any existing power bank to charge these pretty quickly too.
Sure, a usb to 3 x usb-c splitter and you’re charging 3 small rig batteries without all that extra weight and bulk from your far smaller/lighter power bank :)
@@DigiDriftZonethat’s my thoughts on this as well, I can’t understand why people keep making this “best of the year” video about a _charger_ I’ve been charging a single fz100 I had with the camera itself, now I have 3 and use a smallrig double bay charger. So far I’ve never run out of juice with 3 batteries. I mean, c’mon, it is a charger, even if it is the best of the best in the world what is the impact on your photography/videography?
Hey, Mark Rife! Just came across your channel. I'm planning to use one camera to record comedy shows - the kinda angle that lets you get the comedian + the back of the audience - cus my face is all that matters. Would you go with the ZV-E10 or Osmo Pocket 3? I think I value uninterrupted recording time most, which makes the Osmo the obvious choice but I'm tempted by the REAL camera for the external audio flexibility. I hope you can help give me some practical advice - especially if you've used both to record sets. Am I missing an obvious advantage of one or the other?
Hopefully you'll make as much money as Matt Rife. You need the zv-e10. The pocket 3 will be way too wide for a comedy club. The ZV-E10 can record for as long as you have SD card room. No recording limits, no overheating. Just put the camera internal temp to high and open the screen. Put the settings in auto until you get to know your camera well.
I got mine 2 days ago and send it back already. It does feel premium but display is completely unreliable. Percentage levels are complete rubbish. 4 different akus at 100% displayed between 45-85%. Different reading every time.
@MarkBennettCameraCrisis 2x Sony, 1x Duracell and one no name. Even when I plug the same battery (100%) a couple of times, the reading differs every time from ca. 50-85%
How come does the 20W PD version lose the SD card slot functionality? With the bulk it has over the 18W one, the slot should've been kept. Anyway, still going for the 20W PD version.
Looks ok, but not sure what charger you have that takes 6 hours to charge your batteries? I think you are exaggerating bc I have an amazon 3 battery charger which is awesome, cheap and charges my 3 batteries in about 2-3 hours. Not 6
I got myself iphone 15 pro...and i was amazed how far phone camera has come...i sold my fuji x-s10 and all lenses right away..i was kinda afraid if value gonna drop ...camera business is sadly dying and we need to adapt to it...otherwise we gonna end up like nokia did if u know what i mean
We've got both chargers and the FW50 charger for the Sony ZV E10-seriously, these are some of the best chargers out there! Big thumbs up to Llano for nailing it, and a huge thanks to Mark for the awesome review.
It's $42 right now. The cheap chargers are $25. Charges it twice as fast, battery percentage indicator and nice case for protection. Sounds worth it to me
I wouldn’t say it’s unpractical. If the protective charging case is rugged and does not look like another camera, it is convenient and then some. @StowAwayKid

Al Green!!
Mark, every time you post a new video…my bank account gets smaller 🤣
haha. some much good stuff to buy this year!!
So true
Indeed very well though product. Thanks for sharing

It's so great
Great job on the video Mark! Thanks for making it.
I thought these were camera bodies! That's very much a design choice to make them look like cameras.
absolutely. They're adorable!!
I thought those were huge wireless mic transmitters!
Love the Llano charger. Also one of the best things I bought this year.
So good!!
I have got one, it is very nice except the "silicon" finishing that will "melt" in a few years time. Please let the manufacturer know and change the finishing.
I've owned the power bank version for 3 months, bought them from china directly. Really love it.

I recently was looking for extra batteries for my ZV-E1 and saw these. I had no idea how big these units were compared to my smallrig charger.
ot small - but awesome

Babybutt smooth!!
Yes! I got one too this year for my A6400 batteries. Love it!
Nitecore sell a good charger for a lot of battery types. I have the NPFZ100 charger and i love it
I’ll have to check it out!!
I loved what jupio did with tri charge as well
@@TECH3_ yes, that’s another great product for sure
I like the idea but they seem kinda bulkier than needed, especially the one without powerbank inside
would be nice if they were smaller for sure
It’s a good battery charger for travelling but this thing is too big to carry in my two cameras sling bags.😅
Yes - the size is a drawback for sure

Looks a little bulky for 2 batteries. Any idea how it compares to the one Peter Lindgren put out?

@MarkBennettCameraCrisis 2x Sony, 1x Duracell and one no name. Even when I plug the same battery (100%) a couple of times, the reading differs every time from ca. 50-85%
Maybe differences in the temperature of the batteries? Voltage is lower if they are cold.

I agree - would have lived to see that. Good feedback for the company
I bought the charging dock a while ago thinking it also works as a powerbank lol
They might have released the powerbank case just recently
Yes - it's newer

how many charges of the fz100 do you get out of one full llano powerbank charge though? The video watch time was kinda random
I don't know the exact times, but it has enough fully charge two dead batteries and then have a little left.
Handsome chargers
Waiting for the new 3 action cam comparison, hope there will be 😊
I will compare the Action 5 and GoPro. I don't have the Insta360
Another product I don‘t need. Very good! 😂

There's plenty of room for cameras - professional photographers and videographers aren't aren't going to be switching to phones.
It’s too big for me to be honest. Good idea but would take up too much space.
yes, a bit bulky.
Mark, I bought this charger because of this video of yours. Thx for recommendation. But will hold you responsible if it fails. Haha, kidding.
