What a total dream team! Sorin and Dianna are two of the best Electronic repair people on TH-cam. I look forward to learning so much from this channel and really excited to see your new content. Thanks.
This is something I was aware of and great to see someone go through and show everyone. Of course the manufacturers have to lie otherwise the number of returns would be huge with the people who don't understand rechargeable batteries and expect perfection.
2:09 - 3:27 Please re upload this segment at normal speed. I couldn’t see all the connections you had to remove to get the battery out because it was going so fast!
Nice job! Wish you luck with this new start! If I understood right from Sorin, you are more in the software field. Will be great if you can share with us some knowledge. (Usefully softwares in repair businesses, phones/table's resoft...
Please, tell Sorin with all due respect that your English is better. 🙂 I am from Serbia, English is not my native language. I have asked him to make a video on how you modified a battery charger/tester and connected it to a phone battery activation board. He instructed me to watch your video and I have just become your subscriber. In his video about repairing Samsung phone there was a bigger activation board and + and - wires had been soldered onto the activation board. I would like to ask you both to share what points on the board those wires were soldered to. Thanks.
Software report fake info some times, you can try to plug and unplug battery it can be changed for 5-9%. Battery healt for me is no importance but how long i can use it is only value to me.
4.2V seems somewhat off. I would assume normal charge cap in a modern phone is 4.35V or so? I wonder what a fresh genuine batt tests at. If it says 3Ah on it and its design cap is 4.35V, at 4.2V and the somewhat elevated current of 500mA it might be something like 2.6-2.8Ah on such test. I would expect smaller currents to come up with a higher capacity figure and closer to spec, but i don't know by how much. But of course a 2 year used personal device for sure lost a good bit of capacity, for sure.
Yes, according to Internet it has 3.83V. that's like, maximum voltage of 4.35V I think? My Pixel 8 Pro has a 3.89V battery, max volage is 4.45 or so. So yes the test is off. It should be more than she tested, since the battery wasn't fully charged.
It might have 2300mah, but it falls off the cliff below 30%. That makes it unusable in real life applications. I have a 1300 cycle samsung note 10 plus, battery lasts maybe 60% of what it did new. But it's consistent, doesn't show any abnormally fast discharge rate in lower levels. It just discharges faster overall

Nice one. Looking for more content. Well done 👍
You messed up the result by not waiting until it was at 100% before starting the test.
Can you just test a Samsung battery capacity after couple of years

at least it will stay at peak performance and not slowdown 😂
uhm are you married? LOL
Can you include your husband channel as well, thank you🙏
