50/50. i’m telling you, it’s a 50/50 chance that this FixTF2 thing would work. although, i do agree with you that valve most likely just doesn’t care about TF2, but i would like to play TF2 with friends without getting killed by a bot constantly
Honestly, I'm a mix of the two. Pessimistic on it but I've got my faith in it, and support it. Tf2 has come a long way and its a shame I'm not one of the older players who was here for it's startup. I think its nice that it stays somewhat playable, despite how tarnished it really can be.
I don't think it will work, but regardless I will get behind it. I have met people who have said something very similar to "It takes very little effort to sign the petition, but it's even less effort to do nothing, so I won't."
I havent even logged into tf2 in months, I've just completely gave up hope on tf2 ever coming back from the state it is in. The game is built on spaghetti, with things breaking with every time they add something as small as cosmetics, with some of them having missing textures. I understand that the game is still alive via community servers, but I've already let go of tf2 and moved on to greener pastures. In fact, I just stopped playing first person shooter games in general. Ive just been playing different games in general, and even got a Platinum trophy in elden ring. Point is, I think too many people take tf2 and absorb it into who they are rather than just a game that they enjoy. If fixtf2 works? Good. If it doesnt? Also good. It doesnt affect me in anyway. Valve doesnt care, they dont need to and dont want to. They have everything they could've possibly wanted and more, that being the Iron Fist over pc gaming as a whole.

Don't know if you've seen yet, but very recently, Valve actually responded. They didn't use words, but pretty much every single bot account and even the hosters are getting game banned left and right. Even when they have made new accounts, immediate ban. I actually have more hope than ever because they're doing much more than just telling us some lies and giving a half effort update like last time.
@@Airwolf_ I have seen that recently, plus the news of the next edition of the comic tells me that something is brewing for sure. Only time will tell how much will actually be done.
Also here's the thing about 2:10 , we don't need a game that is going to "revolutionize gaming" we need a new and better anti cheat, because the one for tf2 is a suggestion and its a dinky beware of dog sign for counter strike, and do you know whats gonna happen to the new game/s ? the same shit they get botted and cheaters run rampant AGAIN
@@TheRedzMann well if that’s the case then Valve will have external motivation to fix their anticheat, since Tf2 isn’t their moneymaker anymore the new games are.

Well by new and potentially revolutionary game I was implying things like Deadlocked, you know, brand new games. Also their cutting edge VR tech.
