      Yes it does take a little bit of time, but one trick does it all.

    I like the air bags...I got to get me some....I have the hydraulic version with the 18k lb winch....the switchngo is an awesome setup for what it was designed for ..which is switching bodies ( and in my experience lite or empty bodies) I do dumpster rentals and I'm on my 3rd winch ..the unit does the job but when your doing it 10 times a day and yes some dumpsters are heavy but not 9 ton heavy the winch goes boom...but in there defense the winch takes the most abuse not when your picking the load up but when your dropping it to the ground..the cable tends to get snagged between itself and when it releases there is a sudden snap to the winch.....like I said great unit for what it is but I'm currently looking for input between a stella or swaploader style unit

      The air bags are a game changer. The truck handles the road empty or loaded

    Pardon my ignorance but,,,
    Why not just use a flat bed trailer to put the bobcat it would take much less time loading plus u can use the trailer to carry other stuff .
    The switch and go seems like complicated & over kill, don't u agree???

    • @mperucki
      @mperucki  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      In the past I have done that, I needed to upgrade my f-350 dually pick up and was in the market for a utility truck. The great part of what I have now is dump bed, flat bed, and utility bed. With that being said I have one truck to do all three.

      @@mperucki yes, I have seen a lot of videos & it seems like a great system specially because it a 3 in 1 system.
      But I also thinking that the hook& lift may be better than the switch and go , because its faster to load& unload plus u don't have to get out to the truck to manipulate nothing.
      Everything is done from the inside of the truck & if later u get a helper/employs there's less risk of the helper getting injured manipulating cable ,winches and seems like less prone to liabilities,,,aka lawsuits from injuries. Do u agree???

      I agree if I was running a mid sized truck, from what I researched, the switch n go was the best platform for what I’m looking to do.

      I have the combination weight at 40,000 lbs. the tongue weight of the trailer and skid steer may be in the heavy side.

    I have a 2020 f550 with palfinger hook and you cannot have a gooseneck with it just switch and go you can

      Tony they both have their advantages, how do you like the hook lift.

      I'm currently looking for a hooklift unit..I tried palfinger but they would not sell to me because I'm located in a territory and mainly one of there installers have to install it..but I'm still curious on overall lifting capabilities in real world..what is your hooklift rated at? Would It lift a 6 tons of concrete rubble?

      My set up is a Switch N Go. Full hydronic with a 18,000 lb winch. So yeh that gives 9 tons at the winch.

      @@mperucki you got the truck as a cab and chassis and then installed the PTO S&G kit or you got it complete ?

      @mperucki  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes I was looking at a f-450 pick up, that I was going to make a flat bed dump bed. My salesman mentioned going with a switch n go. So the truck is built as follows
      2020 F550 power stroke
      10 speed transmission
      PTO
      Full hydro 18 k switch n go
      Keldermam rear air bag suspension with dump valve
      12 volt compressor
      My wireless remote for the switch n go was recalled .
      As of now I have the following:
      Flat bed
      Dump body
      Utility body
      I am going to make a more detailed video of the truck and specs and all bodies.
