I agree it was a horrible embarkation. I’ve never been in cruise terminal where employees where not present welcoming you and directing you to the next station or which way to go. I was shocked when no one welcomed you guys onboard and then changed your rooms without notifying you. I’m glad you guys were able to push thru and enjoy your vacation.
I have a feeling the cruise line used the corona excuse for everything. From the hours and hours of videos I've seen of cruise line reviews, MSC is one of those oddballs: it's always "hit or miss." Some days they're so good that Royal Caribbean should be very worried. Other days, they stink worse than a wet dumpster in the Texas afternoon!
We passed you and your family waiting at your door. You were very patient and friendly despite circumstances. Great example for the kiddos. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the cruise despite the trouble.
Initially seeing your headline I assumed that it was just clickbait to get more views but I learned a good lesson. It appears that you and your family DID have a horrible embarkation experience. I would like to congratulate you and your family for handling it so well. Not sure my husband would have been as calm. Great video. You got another subscriber. :)

One thing that I recently learned is the MSC Cruises parent company is one of the largest container shipping companies in the world. So, I guess it makes sense that their customer service skills are at 0, because the containers never complain! lol

This is not the first report I have seen on MSC that tells me "nope." I've been on three cruises this year and in ever case I was on the ship within fifteen minutes of starting to check in. Kudos to two very well behaved children.

Omg I couldn’t believe how hard it was to board. The thing that took the cake, is when you all were not greeted when u all boarded. I don’t think I ever seen that on a cruise. Absolutely Ridiculous!

Great video.... it's good to see....when things don't go well.....sometimes it aint all going to workout well....even on vacation. Yall handled it very well....I know some folks would have been screaming and shouting. Yall wasn't even greeted well when you finally got to the ship.. .and then yall got the wrong room it's too much....thank goodness they got your bags together. 🤗 The energy was high....yall was ready....for a vacation and I felt it. 🌴
Not a fan of MSC to begin with. We sailed pre Covid. Besides the pizza the rest of the food I found mediocre. Doing Mardi Gras in August with fully vaccinated children (2nd dose Thursday).

From life experience those were one two many issues and red flags, I would avoid them all together next time. And they need to have better structure from the top to the bottom, because clearly across the board it is very poor or non-existent in order for issues like that to occur and then the poor unjust way of even how they explained it away without accountability! No, auh auh No!!!

So proud of you guys.... LOVE It that you are exposing your children to traveling at a early age. I am so sorry about your embarkation process with MSC (LORD please help us in January 2022), room tour was nice. Question, how much time did you actually spend in your room? I would love to watch the sunrise & sunset....
As for spending time on the balcony it was pretty much minimal, balcony is kind of a waste for us because we don’t sit out there much but that’s just us.
We just booked a cruise for May 23. We have a 7pm Embarkation? 7pm! I have never been on a cruise with a 7pm embarkation time. I guess we don't get dinner? I am ready to cancil this cruise already.
That is pretty late but I’m sure there is a dinner of some sort

My embarkation on Seashore on 11/27 took almost 4 hrs. We got no lunch and no buffet food until they said safety briefing was done...dinner time. Worst embarkation ever. Probably worst cruise line of all...MSC...Then missed a port stop and got back to port late, disembarked 4 hrs late and had to cancel a second cruise because couldn't make it...no compensation from MSC.

I have no desire to EVER cruise MSC. I hear horror story after horror story from embarkation to the food to the entertainment, no ma'am. Waaay more bad than I ever hear good. Carnival, Royal, ery'body else can get my money.
The food and entertainment was actually pretty good, much better than we heard.
How did they drop your bags off at the other room if that wasn't the one on Jazzy's confirmation?

I have been in MSC before 3 times, no complaints at all, smooth cruising from the beginning, all out of Miami. Seashore is a new cruise with new technology, it might be the employees were no ready for the new system. Thank you so much for sharing. You have 2 beautiful, smart and well behaved girls. 🥰

We just took a Royal cruise over thanksgiving and it took us about 3 hours from the time we got to the port until we got on the ship.

Wow! I've had great experiences with MSC, but I have to agree that your embarkation experience was frustrating! I got frustrated just from watching, especially 'cause I really want you guys to enjoy your MSC experience! Thanks for showing the real deal details! Let me tell you though, once you guys got into the RIGHT room... lol... I loved the vibe, and I could feel you guys starting to unwind... I literally laughed out loud after "How did she get here, Royce? She knocked on the door!" 😂😂 I hope the rest of the cruise was great!

MSC is horrible with customer service, and their staff is rude. The food isn’t good as well. Celebrity all the way!
We didn’t find the staff to be rude, the food was good to us for the most part. It’s definitely not on celebrity status tho lol

I would've died. Took us less than 5 minutes to get on the Edge. Granted, no kids and only 800 sailing Thanksgiving week, but there were 80 children and we didn't see one line anywhere. The girls are so cute and fabulous, just like Mommy! Hope you had a great time regardless.

MSC should be ashamed of there self. There is always bad reviews of the company. I sailed on the Seaside 2018. And it wasn’t that great. Most of the people were angry at the service and I see that nothing has changed.But I must say their ships are gorgeous. But they really need to check themselves.. Hi Rich, Jazzy, Reign and Royce. I’m late but Happy Belated Thanksgiving. MSC🤔. I haven’t heard nice things about MSC but their ships are so beautiful. Looking forward to hearing your options. Reading the fine print and correctly is imperative. Antigen and PCR 2 different test. Surprised they didn’t email the results or send it to the app. 3 hrs and 15 min and you guys were in group 2. They should know if you made it that far your covid test was negative. Could someone sneak and get that far. 🤷🏻♀️. Reign is leading the way. It’s desolate. No one directing. Wow. Guess that ship is sailing late. Wait. The keys aren’t working? Omg. Wait. The luggage got to the room before you guys did. 🤦♀️. But wait. When you check in and they give you your keys, don’t they confirm the keys and the room number and the app? 🤷🏻♀️🤦♀️. So now if the 9222 room was assigned to someone else, they gotta clean it. Reign did notice only 2 towels. Rich your mum is young and beautiful. You guys are a beautiful family. To me, the drink package should cover what’s in the fridge. The interior of the draws look clean. 1/2&1/2 is a whole. 🤣. New ship new drama. Looking forward to the future Vlogs on this ship. Have a good first night on the ship. See you next video.

What a train wreck! So they just let you into the wrong room? I see nothing but horrible experiences over and over from MSC. What is with the person in the hall just standing there staring in at you guys around the 22 min mark?
No he was our room steward who was actually amazing. Yes my app said it was another from from my husband, just a mess

I cruise MSC Meraviglia this pass September ( Solo ) and check in was about 20 from the time I got there. Its a beautiful ship and I loved the Cigar Lounge. I'm thinking about the Seashore next, balcony prices are reasonable
Wow 20 mins is amazing, we know they have been embarking from Miami since sept so we don’t know what went wrong with our sailing. We say give them a try, the problems we had won’t be everyone’s problem

This is ridiculous. MSC needs to do better. They definitely need to comp y'all for your inconvenience. I would definitely be emailing them when you return home. You just have to make lemonade out of lemons. Great video as usual! Can't wait for upcoming vlogs. I'm also following y'all on Instagram.

my check in time says 10 am but ships depart at 7 pm , I am flying , can reach port till 1 pm. Will there be any issues for me to board?

Greetings from NC/SC...Not sure what's going on with MSC...They have been cruising out of Miami with the first ship being the Divina since Fall 2013...We cruised it Sept 2014...We had an amazing time...Haven't cruised with them since but been seeing a lot of unhappy cruisers with them lately...Hopefully the rest of the cruise experience is better...
They have a lot of positives, but some things to work on too
Same happened to me with Royal Caribbean believe the worst experience!! Because the test results are taking longer than normal, the cruise was late sailing waiting for all peoples with Kids…
