One of the things in your video that you didn't point out was the water lines that were cut into the high peaks of the hills and mountains. I live close to a large river and there are tall hills and cliffs on each side, and you can clearly see how the water rapidly cut into the sides of the rock. Rain and wind cannot cause this kind of erosion and scaring, only a global flood that covered everything could have done this. I live at least 9 hours from the closest ocean, yet I find brachiopods and trilobites all the time. This is some great information you're putting out. God Bless

They all not only report a global flood but they also confirm much of the genesis accounts. And the old testament has testable claims just like in Science proving that the old testament authors are genuine eyewitnesses of the global flood and they are more reliable than the epic of Gilgamesh and such. The sea shells you talk of lived in the Western Interior Seaway during the Cretaceous period - c100 million years ago. You can find similar sea shells from a similar period in the Himalayas - the tallest mountains on Earth are formed from the seafloor that once existed between India and Asia, called the Tethys. @@magistradox39 It seems that you are the one who doesn't know what theory means. In science, a theory is the highest you can get with any explanation of a physical phenomena. It's not the same as theory in common speech, that is a common misunderstanding of the semantics related to science. In science, a theory is something that we know that is true, but can be expanded. Like the tectonic plate theory, the Evolution Theory, the Theory of relativity or the Big Bang Theory. All of these are well undemented and predict phenomena which the bible can't. We don't use the word fact in science, because these concepts get expanded. For example, the theory of relativity doesn't coincide with Quantum Mechanics where it should, therefore, physicists are looking for a grand unified theory which can accommodate the two smaller theories. That being said, you have the right not to believe in these theories and just keep living your everyday life using the scientific inventions which were made using these theories, being a hypocrite, however, if you were the least literate, which it doesn't seem that you are, you would know that the word theory used in science is not the same as in regular everyday speech. If it was, then a law would be stronger than a theory in science. However, in science, a theory is way more complex and fundamental, and in many cases even encompasses many laws

    • @plainsman
      @plainsman ปีที่แล้ว

No, quite the contrary. There was never a global flood to begin with, and as a consequence there was never an ark. Such a flood would have produced evidence contrary to the evidence we see. For instance, how do you explain the relative ages of mountains? Why weren't the Sierra Nevadas eroded as much as the Appalachians during the Flood? Why is there no evidence of a flood in ice core series? Ice cores from Greenland have been dated back more than 40,000 years by counting annual layers, and the Vostok Antarctica cores go back 420,000 years. A worldwide flood would be expected to leave a layer of sediments, noticeable changes in salinity and oxygen isotope ratios, fractures from buoyancy and thermal stresses, a hiatus in trapped air bubbles, and probably other evidence. Why doesn't such evidence show up? How are the polar ice caps even possible? Such a mass of water as the Flood would have provided sufficient buoyancy to float the polar caps off their beds and break them up. They wouldn't regrow quickly. In fact, the Greenland ice cap would not regrow under modern (last 10,000 yrs) climatic conditions. Why did the Flood not leave traces on the sea floors? A year long flood should be recognizable in sea bottom cores by (1) an uncharacteristic amount of terrestrial detritus, (2) different grain size distributions in the sediment, (3) a shift in oxygen isotope ratios (rain has a different isotopic composition from seawater), (4) a massive extinction. Why do none of these show up? Why is there no evidence of a flood in tree ring dating? Tree ring records go back more than 12,000 years, with no evidence of any such catastrophe during that time.

Ummm...nope. Apparently you haven't read anything about this written by an actual modern-day geologist. Also, the flood story in the bible has long been FACTUALLY shown to have been plagiarized from the ancient Sumerian story in the Epic of Gilgamesh. Only children who have been programmed by the church and brainwashed adults with limited critical thinking and reasoning ability believe the stories in the bible are true. Most of the bible, in fact, has been shown to be largely plagiarized from other older stories and other sources. Even the new testament is hilariously and blatantly stolen form the ancient Egyptians' story of Isis, Osiris, and Horus, as well as being flavored with pagan concepts. Not only that, the Flavian scholars are the ones that actually crafted the whole Jesus myth to promote their own political goals, never dreaming that their lies would take off and become the greatest literary hoax of all time(alongside Islam), creating a worldwide religion that was abused by empires to conquer and destroy cultures and entire countries-Mexico, Canada, Russia, Greece, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil and most parts of South America, the native peoples of North America, the Irish, the Scottish, the Celts, the original immigrants and the now modern United States.......Christianity is a murderous, rights taking, culture suppressing cancer. It has destroyed my family over several generations. Those in my family that cling to their religion are the most judgmental, arrogant, hypocritical, and selfish members, and are only allowed very minimal contact with the rest of us-funerals, weddings, family reunions. Otherwise they are forbidden to interact with our children so that the hate and judgment will not affect them.

In at least four places in the Bible (including two in the Flood account), "springs of the deep" and "fountains of the deep" are mentioned. For most of my life, I've thought of the Grand Canyon as evidence for a worldwide flood. When I first heard the textbook explanation when I was in high school, it didn't make sense. A one-mile-deep canyon consisting of a mile of sediment, clearly proves that flowing water at least a mile deep- was in the area. Add to that the fact of gravity causing water to seek its own level. Thus, the water was not only more than a mile deep, it had to be wide enough for the water not to just drain away.

The Coconino Sandstone is sandwiched between the Hermit Shale (lowland swamp deposit) and the Toroweap Formation (shallow sea gypsum/shale deposit primarily caused by evaporation).

When you’re looking at geological formations
Think about a magician and the dining room table trick
What happens when a tablecloth is pulled out from underneath a table setting, and everything on the table stays put?
Plate Tectonics work the same way
In that demonstration, the tableware is exhibiting Newton's laws of motion.
Newton's first law says that the tableware will remain motionless unless acted upon by an outside force.
To set the objects on the table into motion, the horizontal force acting upon them in this case is the frictional force between them and the table cloth.
Newton's second law says the amount of force needed to accelerate the tableware is directly related to the rate of acceleration.
When the tablecloth is pulled slowly, the tableware matches its low rate of acceleration and moves along with it.
When the cloth is pulled quickly, the tableware needs to accelerate at a greater rate to move along with it; but the force needed to make that happen is greater than the frictional force available an it lags behind.
If the cloth is pulled very rapidly, the tableware 'stays put.'
Plate Tectonics work the same way.
The Earths Crust is pliable and moves
Where as the bodies of water stay because of the Earths Gravity
But the plates can be stretched and moved
So what you’re looking at World Wide is evidence of plate tectonics
    Not a World Wide Flood

@truthgiver8286 no its completely stupid and scientific to think there was no global flood. So you're dying that hundreds of cultures around the globe just all came up with their own flood story? Or they all independently decided that this would be the story they all passed down generation to generation, despite it not having any basis in reality? That's quite a stretch. People from the middle east to Hawaiians to native Americans to those on the south American continent and everywhere in between have a flood account. The most simple and reasonable explanation is that it happened and everyone's version of the story gives their explanation of why. Obviously they aren't all correct on that second part, but the fact of it does not change.
Secondly, how else do you explain marine fossils in the Himalayan mountains? Or in Kansas, right in the land locked middle of the United States? How do you explain the instantaneous fossilization of creatures? Fossilized in the middle of eating out giving birth. Or jellyfish being fossilized? Normally they would just decay fairly quickly because of what they are made of. They would never be around long enough to turn into fossils. Insect wings are another example. The fossil record fits perfectly with a worldwide catastrophe like the flood. Based on geology, it's totally ignorant to say there was no flood. And of course, weather scientists cannot give a reason for an ice age. They can show scientifically the evidence that it happened, but they scratch their heads as to why. But if a flood happened the way the Bible described then that would be something that could meet the required conditions and it would mean an ice age right after the flood.
The only reason to not believe there was a global flood is because it gives credit to the Bible. It doesn't prove it, since it doesn't verify the specifics or the "why" behind it, but even just having to admit the Bible isn't crazy on the basics of that story is too much for some people so they have to reject the science as well.

Faith is the opposite of science, yet it's also one common element that you will always hear valued in religion. It's the number one most common excuse for holding peculiar superstitious beliefs in spite of the evidence against them, their violations of sense, and their foundation in wishful thinking and rhetorical vapor. It puts ignorance rather than scientific rigor on a pedestal.

The most likely reason (s) human fossils are not found is because humans most likely survived the longest. As a result, their bodies were not buried in the mud so deeply, if at all, and left exposed to the elements. This allowed the normal processes of decomposition to run their natural course. This coupled with the scavengers still around eating them, would have made quick work of these human bodies and left no traces behind.
Another factor to consider is that God's intention for the flood was to annihilate all mankind from the face of the earth. God simply did exactly what He said HE would do. So, it is not surprising that no human remains have been found to this point. Perhaps their are none left to find. They were entirely obliterated by the flood.
You should also understand that finding a fossil of a land dwelling, air breathing animal is a very rare occurrence to begin with. I think I have read that that around 99% of the fossils that have been found and catalogued aquatic creatures. So, finding a human fossil would be a kin to finding a needle in a haystack.
I'm sure there are more reasons why there are no human fossils being found, these are some of the main reasons.

Because it's written there were giants after the flood.

Same concept with the giants, a few survived, apparently in cube of sort, if you trust the Nephilim version of the flood, Enki's flood tale.
A read of the book of Jubilees will further tell you how demons are the disembodied spirits of deceased giants. Actually they made oaths under the penalty of having their lands infested with Giants, either physical or disembodied ones. The whole Canaan story is a great example of how the violation of oaths was a death condamnation for the offender, they were bloated out of the book of life, even if it took centuries : the promised land to Abraham is in reality a restitution of stolen land to a righteous descendant. Geologists already have such an understanding, and it doesn't include anything as preposterous as a global flood.

People like to point at the marine fossils found there as proof of a global flood but why do we not find fossils of terrestrial species there as well? A worldwide flood would obviously deposit a spectrum of terrestrial/marine plants and animal fossils, yet we only find marine fossils. Try the Astle Beds as a starting point. Trust me, you'll have to dig deep. And don't be surprised if you are forced to consult a good library and read up the old-fashioned way. It's like treacle on the net.
One of the most fascinating fossil graveyard of all is located in the southern United States. The Ashley Beds is an enormous phosphate graveyard that contains mixed remains of man with land and sea animals, notably dinosaurs, pleisosaurs, whales, sharks, rhinos, horses, mastodons, mammoths, porpoises, elephants, deer, pigs, dogs, and sheep. This catalogue of fossils from the phosphate beds was given in the records of Major Edward Willis who displayed them at multiple expositions (Willis, “Fossils and Phosphate Specimens,” 1881.) Professor F.S. Holmes (paleontologist and curator of the College of Charleston’s Natural History Museum) described the fossil graveyard in a report to the Academy of Natural Sciences: “Remains of the hog, the horse and other animals of recent date, *together with human bones mingled with the bones of the mastodon and extinct gigantic lizards* .” There can be little doubt what extinct gigantic lizard he referenced for he pictured a hadrosaurus on the front of his 1870 book The Phosphate Rocks of South Carolina and captioned it: “Skeleton of a Fossil Lizard eighteen feet in Length.” Moreover, on page 31 he wrote, “It was in this Post-Pleiocene age, the period when the American Elephant, or Mammoth, the Mastodon, Rhinoceros, Megathereum, Hadrosaurus, and other gigantic quadrupeds roamed the Carolina forests, and repaired periodically to these Salt-lakes”… (p. 31.)
Yet I've never seen the Smithsonian eager to display them. Evolutionists won't publicise the findings..... and you won't believe this, or any other accounts, not today, not ever. Am I right?
If you doubt it, try searching for the quotes. The bone listing. The evidence. Your average generation z has no clue what a library is. 30 seconds of search on the net confirm their beliefs. There's no reason to push the boat out and invest an entire minute. What's more, these beds and discoveries are known to MSM and universities. Their response? Shhhhhh.

(There's variety within a species but that comes from a very clever mechanism of chromosome exchange. And all genese are breaking down over time. That's why it was once okay to marry your sibling, and then after the Flood, your cousin only, and now not even your cousin, because of the odds of you and your spouse sharing the same broken gene).
Finally, I have had many experiences talking to God and Him telling me stuff I didn't know. I encourage you to make it your daily prayer that God reveal himself to you more closely.

In the end of the universe, if it was allowed to end, when every star has gone out, everything will be one even temperature, and dead. It takes spiritual design to use energy to create higher ordered states.

      Huge 'Ocean' Discovered Inside Earth
By Ker Than, published February 28, 2007
The finding, made by Michael Wysession, a seismologist at Washington University in St. Louis, and his former graduate student Jesse Lawrence, now at the University of California, San Diego, will be detailed in a forthcoming monograph to be published by the American Geophysical Union. And they did.
They go further 28th November 2016:
"Scientists have made an incredible discovery: Earth has an underground ocean - deep underground, in the planet’s lower mantle far beneath the crust.
The underground ocean consists of water trapped within minerals, and it may be the size of all of the Earth’s oceans put together.
Those are the findings of two parallel studies conducted by researchers at Florida State University, the University of Edinburgh, and Northwestern University.
The first study, carried out by Florida State and Edinburgh, found that water can exist far deeper in the Earth’s mantle than previously thought. They focused on how the water could exist so deep within the planet, and found that a mineral called brucite stores it. Their initial studies should that the water stored in the Earth’s mantle could account for as much as 1.5 percent of the Earth’s weight.
The second study at Northwestern sought to determine how deep the water-storing brucite could go. A Brazilian diamond from a volcanic eruption 90 million years ago offered some clues.
The diamond contained an imperfection caused by minerals that were trapped within the gem as it formed. The imperfection suggested that the diamond formed in the Earth’s lower mantle, a third of the way to the planet’s core. But it contained hydroxyl ions, which come from water.
The researchers believe this indicates that brucite containing water can be found in the lower mantle as well.
The information gathered by the studies shows that water may be an important part of the volcanic process, including “convection” that circulates the molten rock in the Earth’s mantle."
At first (2007) they thought they'd found something as large as the Arctic Ocean. Now the global observations are in they now know its bigger than all the world's oceans combined, ranging from 160 to 610 miles. The zipper is the Mid-atlantic ridge. Now, I know this, so it wasn't hard finding it. But do you see this in evolutionary text books, school curriculums, MSM? You know the answer. You know why.
I've scrolled through other comments. I'm satisfied they aren't the slightest bit interested in the science. Now ask another intelligent question, see what happens.

The Epic is fantasy: the boat he built would not have been seaworthy and the main character of the Epic was given eternal life (so where is he now if he was given eternal life?). The Bible, on the other hand, is proven by on-going archaeological digs to be an accurate account of historical places, people and events. Noah's boat design is actually very sea worthy and similar in dimensions to modern oceanliners--Gilgamesh's is not. The allegation that the Epic is older is absolutely not solid. There is significant evidence that the oral tradition contained in parts of Genesis go back to approximately 2000 BC or longer. Genesis mentions a city called Haran. This city was abandoned in about 1800 BC and not occupied again. The fact that Haran is mentioned in Genesis is evidence that the tradition of Abraham leaving Ur goes back to at least 1800 BC. The Genesis account is most certainly older even if there was nothing written, as the Jews had a very solid and reliable tradition of passing historical events orally. Also, whether or not clay or paper was used is not reliable as a dating method, as both methods were also used by the ancient hebrews/israelites.

No, it's evidence of seas coming and going over many millions of years and those sea beds gradually turning into sedimentary rock.

@@somerandom3247 Yep. The Earth has a finite amount of water and isn't making anymore. The same fixed volume of water is subject to constant evaporation to a gaseous state, then condenses back to liquid water and falls as rain in a never ending cycle. Less than 10% of the Earth's water is frozen as ice and snow at the poles and on mountains. It is estimated that about 25 % of the original Earth's water has been expelled into space over the course of many millions of years and nothing has been identified that could change the rate of loss. Noah's flood, capable of covering the entire earth to the depth of our highest mountains, would require two and a half times more water than the planet possesses from all sources, including the small amount of underground water trapped beneath the Earth's crust. Where could the water have come from?....I couldn't. How did the water disappear in just one year?....it couldn't. Note, that water does not escape into space. Only water vapor can do that. The heat required to vaporize that much water would have incinerated the Earth. The vortex of water vapor leaving the Earth would have dragged Earths entire atmosphere into space along with it, leaving Earth as a barren rock. It's a fun story for Bronze-Age man to ponder in his ignorance. Even more logistically impossible than the story of Santa and his flying reindeer travelling the Earth in 24 hours to deliver many million tons of toys to children. The records that do exist were written several decades after he died and are based on third hand(or worse) oral stories. The stories you have read in the Bible were written by Josephus Flavius and the Flavian scholars who co-opted the Messiah story and created the entire Jesus myth you have been programmed to believe. There are zero Roman government records of anything about him. Emperor Titus Flavius and the Flavian scholars used their own crafted story to promote the divinity of Titus and to show that Titus was the true Messiah so that the Jews could be brought into line in a non-violent manner. The Roman government was tired of destroying entire Jewish cities and executing supposed Messiahs because of the whole "Messiah" story, so they just made their own guy Messiah. Guess what? A Harvard-led study indicates that Earth’s early ocean could have been one to two times larger than the current ocean volume1.
These calculations are based on the interior water storage capacity of the planet, which includes the water bound to minerals in the Earth’s mantle.
Researchers compiled data from scientific literature on minerals that contain oxygen and hydrogen atoms (the chemical equivalents of water) and used these figures to estimate the mantle’s water storage capacity.
    Implications:
In extreme scenarios, if the primordial ocean were two times larger than today’s ocean, it might have completely flooded the land masses on the early Earth.
While modern Earth’s surface is approximately 70 percent water-covered, this research suggests that our planet was a true ocean world billions of years ago

    1. The most common date given for the flood is 4400 years ago, right in the middle of the Egyptians first burst of city and temple building, why did they not notice they were under water?
    2. To flood the planet to over top the highest mountain you would need about 3 to 4 times the known amount of water in the world, where did all that water come from?
    3. After the flood, where did the water go?
    4. How did 8 people build a wooden ship bigger than any wooden ship built in modern times when THAT ship was reinforced with steel bracing and still broke up and sank.
    5. How did animals with odd diets get to the ark?
    6. How did 8 people deal with the needs of 10000 animals on the ark? Each animal had to be fed, watered, exercised and the poop scooped. Working 12 hours a day they would need to deal with over 100 animals per hour.
    7. If there were 10000 animals on the ark representing about 4000 species, and there is now about 8.7 million species on Earth, each species surviving the flood would have to generate 217 new species in the 4400 years since the flood.
    8. If there were 10000 animals on the ark representing about 4000 species, and there is now about 8.7 million species on Earth, each species surviving the flood would have to generate 217 new species in the 4400 years since the flood.
    9. Well according to the Book of Jasher, the wives ARE sisters. Jasher 5: 32-35 "And thou shalt choose for thy sons three maidens, from the daughters of men, and they shall be wives to thy sons. And Noah rose up, and he made the ark, in the place where God had commanded him, and Noah did as God had ordered him. In his five hundred and ninety-fifth year Noah commenced to make the ark, and he made the ark in five years, as the Lord had commanded. Then Noah took the three daughters of Eliakim, son of Methuselah, for wives for his sons, as the Lord had commanded Noah." If a species undergoes a population bottleneck, the lack of genetic diversity can be seen in the members of that species. NO such bottle neck exists in the overwhelming majority of species.
    10. 4400 years is not a long enough time to generate the diversity in the human population to give rise to the different populations of people we see on the planet especially when you consider that effectively the genetic diversity was limited to 4 people, Noah and his wife and Eliakim and his wife.
    11. Ken Ham's phony Ark has a million Dollar + heating, ventilation and air conditioning system that ensures that workers and visitors do not suffocate in the building. According to the bible, the original Ark had one window, 18 in square. Sorry people but if Ham's estimate of 1600 species represented by a minimum of 4000 animals, they would have suffocated.
    12. There is NO trace of any global flood in the geology of the world. Lots of local and regional floods, yes, but NO global flood.
    13. Oh and by the way, for those fools at CMI who think Noah's Flood was a real event, a Tomb has been discovered in Egypt dated to 4400 years ago, about the time of the mythical flood (according to many biblical creationists). This raises several questions.
    a. If the Tomb was built before the flood, how did it escape being flooded?
    b. If the Tomb was built after the flood, the Earth's population would have been devistated so who built the tomb?
    c. Why is this Tomb perfectly in line with Egyptian culture before and after the fairy tale flood? If everybody in Egypt were killed in the flood, the Egyptian culture from before the flood would have been lost.

I do not have the time to address your entire post. Although, the answers to your questions can be found on videos about the great flood like this one.
But I will mention these two facts. Where did all the water come from?
The Bible says that the fountains of the great deep were broken open and sprang forth.
Guess what? Scientists have recently discovered that there are vast oceans underneath the continents, with more water in them that are in the Atlantic Pacific.
Where did the water go? Well, naturally after its springing forth it sank down and slowly went back to where it came from.
Keep asking questions. But be open minded and research outside your box.
The answers are out there. Seek, and you will find.
If you really want to be fair and listen to both sides, I would recommend a series called In The Days of Noah.
It is sometimes preachy, especially at the beginning and ends of the vids. This can be a turn off.
But he does give amazing photographs and video clips with all kinds of scientific and historical and archaeological evidences for the great flood that can’t really be denied.
I will also add the disclaimer that he sometimes preaches something called the pre-rapture , and I don’t believe in that. But I think the video series overall is amazing.
Oh, wait. I recognize your handle. I have seen it before under vids. From what I have seen of your other posts. It does not seem likely at all that you really care about the truth. So I will leave this post for anybody else who might benefit. While praying for you.
