What a incredible look at long gone time, that poor old float was so overloaded its not funny, and to think how that press would change manufacturing in Australia, a huge leap forward and horse and carts still running around, amazing point in time
I still struggle to believe corruption was not the real contributer to Holden being closed. I am talking over the long term. China has too much say On Australia's economy as well. Compare Kmart in Aust to KMart in the USA for example. The smaller Kmart's in Australia now are like going to a more expensive 2$ shop or reject shop. KMart I used to go to was a great store.
And now that press will be packed up in 2017 to be sent to Thailand or China. Never again will it press panels for the "famous Australian aerobodied Holden". What a tragedy! What a loss to Australia and its manufacturing capability. I hope the CEO of GM is happy with herself and what she has done to Australia.

Was the crane driver fired? See the way it hits the ground - slams into the ground and tips!
Not likely, they were wharfies after all. She'll be right mate !!
I wonder what ever happened to the press and who would know? Someone must

MDS dont just blame the politician's the union's had a hand in killing our car industry as well.
A very big hand, plus the typical lazy Coker attitude.
