This rig has blown my mind in it's durability, handing and quality!😱 I changed out the 3mm rear driveshaft with a 5mm front Arrma Mojave driveshaft. The mod worked perfectly and no more bent rear shaft!👌The truck had no breaks, just a cracked wing mount! Some guys ask if this performs like the Arrma Talion or Kraton. IMO if you combine the two rigs, make it lighter with MUCH better handing, You have this truck!😱🚀🤘 🤘
I just managed my savings and selling my arrma to get this kit.. any idea the dogbones part number from arrma mojave? I just noticed the rear dogbone is a bit thin

I am glad you have ran and tested this truck! I have got looking at it lately. And sure enough checking TH-cam you have ran it. It’s an amazing performer by the looks, and lately I’ve been real impressed by Losi higher end kits. I am seriously thinking of selling my Tekno ET48 2.0 truggy that I bash with to try something different which is this Losi XTE. Nice mod on the driveshaft also I will have to do the same.

It might be the answer for a short time to the parts supply problem we're having with Arrma again. I love my Losi buggies and trucks, I very rarely had to go home early due to breakage. It's great to see they hold up to the extreme levels your capable of putting them through.

Love my arrma trucks, BUT after driving lighter vehicles I've really enjoyed the nimble handling. Even losing 2 lb off an RC does amazing things for handling and motor/esc temps. I also seem to break less having less weight and energy hit the ground on a bad landing. Love the vids, keep it up man

Man that things bad ass. Its fast too. I cant help but get a bit of a talion vibe .any idea just how fast it is? Do you vent your katars with more than 2 holes? That pit was very tp feeling for sure i feel like the mojave would be fun there too.i love the innovation with the cooling tune.i bet that helps the body too. Do yiu mind if i kinda steal the idea? Lol one of the things i love about this is MacGyvering things and trying different ideas with things not even meant for this hobby hahs. Maaaan it blows my mind how hard you're sending a $2000 race build! lol but damn they sure are meant to take a serious beating. Curious as to how it holds up compared to an RTR rig. Probably the (relatively) light weight compared to other cars of comparable size (K6?) helps out a lot.
What have you done in terms of the hinge pins and arms breaking. I barely send mine and it breaks arms easily. Was thinking of trying typhon arms but too focused on other projects.

No prob!👊Yeah a tad thicker is good. The rear felt a tad springy stock so I thickened just the rear. The front felt good to me. I went manual diff fluid which is included with 100k center. Still has great handling with a bit more air control.
Hey bro just curious how this was overall durability wise, loved my Tekno mt410/et48.3 but comparing this with the new et48 2.0, Ik with this I’d have to get metal braces and top plate but rly just curious about the strength of the gearbox, little nervous about not having the m2c backing haha, can’t wait if there’s a future tlr tuned talion I’ll be the first
It's very comparable to a Tekno in stock durability! The diffs are strong! There is a future of M2C upgrades coming at some point. They have been swamped fixing Arrmas problems.🤣🤣
Honestly both are in different leagues.😜The Losi is a very well engineered kit. Handles like its on rails and much lighter! Both are great bashers but the Kraton will require more upgrades imo. This thing being so light, hits don't hurt as much.🤣M2C will be making upgrades for the Losi soon though to really handle extremes!😎🤘🤘
Not for hard bashing. The Kraton is made with much beefier parts with more readily available upgrades. Losi is a great handler and more of a race vehicle.
I haven't yet but plan too!😁I'm a basher so wanted to see how she'd hold up. Horizon is trying to get this platform in the basher market. Working with M2C Racing now for some sweet beef for her!😎👊🤘🤘

Can't compare bc it's two complete different cars. This is a race spec vehicle with all CNC machined parts plus it's a kit. The Typhon is a RTR basher that will need lots of upgrades to bash hard. Both are great just depends on what you want. Building this kit was so much fun in itself!🤗😎💪🤘🤘

Having a 7075 chassis and being lighter than a Kraton 6S definitely gives it an advantage for bashing.
I love the last scene, entering the turn sliding backwards basically, just shitting gravel/dust out the back as it rips off. Good stuff!

I believe the shocks are 37wt front and 32wt rear. All the oils and fluids come in the kit.😎👊

No prob!👊Yeah a tad thicker is good. The rear felt a tad springy stock so I thickened just the rear. The front felt good to me. I went manual diff fluid which is included with 100k center. Still has great handling with a bit more air control.

Hey bro just curious how this was overall durability wise, loved my Tekno mt410/et48.3 but comparing this with the new et48 2.0, Ik with this I’d have to get metal braces and top plate but rly just curious about the strength of the gearbox, little nervous about not having the m2c backing haha, can’t wait if there’s a future tlr tuned talion I’ll be the first
It's very comparable to a Tekno in stock durability! The diffs are strong! There is a future of M2C upgrades coming at some point. They have been swamped fixing Arrmas problems.🤣🤣

Honestly both are in different leagues.😜The Losi is a very well engineered kit. Handles like its on rails and much lighter! Both are great bashers but the Kraton will require more upgrades imo. This thing being so light, hits don't hurt as much.🤣M2C will be making upgrades for the Losi soon though to really handle extremes!😎🤘🤘

Would you suggest this over a kraton?
Not for hard bashing. The Kraton is made with much beefier parts with more readily available upgrades. Losi is a great handler and more of a race vehicle.

@@jc51373 🤣Yes very similar being a 1/8 scale Truggy but build quality is much better. Handles like it's on rails! Not as tough as a beefed up Arrma but lighter weight so hits dont hurt that much!😜👊🤟🤟

So is this worth it over a rtr arrma typhon for twice the price?
Can't compare bc it's two complete different cars. This is a race spec vehicle with all CNC machined parts plus it's a kit. The Typhon is a RTR basher that will need lots of upgrades to bash hard. Both are great just depends on what you want. Building this kit was so much fun in itself!🤗😎💪🤘🤘
