That’s genius idea having the positive and negative on the body and body mounts. I have just got a infraction with police light kit on it and will be doing the same to mine👌🏻👍🏻

So do your ‘fog” light wires on the bottom front spoiler go to the washers too? Trying to figure out how to get all my lights working with this method. (In addition to what you did, also gonna run front / rear turn signals and brake lights w/ a control unit hub. Would love it if all of then turned on this way….
@@boomhowre in this build, my fog lights are hard wired to come on when the RC cuts on, and the headlights cut on when the frame is attached through my little invention...on my outcast video, i installed a switch to cut them off and on. 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

The washers on the body posts is a very nice tip because I hate how the body pins can cause scratches even if you’re careful.
Thanks a lot...hated spending 100s of bucks on an RC car and scratching it within the first 5 minutes of opening it.

Somebody finally did the body/washer leads for accessories lol. Ive thought about that mod myself just hesitant about any oxidizing that might cause a frigidity connection unless for continuity grease. How has the connection been for that mod, have you had to scuff them at all to keep a clean conductivity?
No problems so far in my experience. Everytime I throw the body on, it works like a charm.

Maaaaan....thanks a lot for the kind words🙏🙏🫡...and yes I can give you my opinion....the infraction, Felony and limitless are basically the same, but the limitless is a roller for if your really wanting to get top speeds with aerodynamic features...with that being said, if I had to choose between the 3, INFRACTION 💯% just because the Felony has different sized rear tires and is sometimes a pain to get a hold of whereas the infraction runs all the same sized tires. But it's honestly up to your desire/driving excitement...I love drifting on road, but I'm loving the ability to be able to go on or off road with this XRT A LOT. Hope this helps some🙏🤝

I’m not good with electric wiring. Did just plug the cable for the light in the esc?
It just depends on the LED and how much power it needs....I plugged it to the receiver which only outputs 3-4 volts max for 5s setups...but I used a power converter to get 12v that were needed for my 12v LED.
Pretty genius idea with your body post driving light power hookup man! kudos! I had a feeling that included black tubing was for some sort of "plumbing". I think you may have a problem though, why have a turbo intercooler on an engine with a blower on it? ;) Curious how that one other piece they give us fits in with those two pugs on the end to accept that tubing as well. Almost looks like it would mount on the hood, but the slot on tops a mystery for sure. Recently watched a video where the guy knew to put those other weird pieces way out back in the air splitter thing. Those 3 random pieces that all look like they could go in the same place. One flush, one with a fin, and one that some in the suggestions say could maybe be for some sort of screws that'd make sparks when the hit the ground? not too sure about that one..
Thanks for the support....and yeah, til this day those parts remain a mystery as far as placement...I just put them where I thought it would look cool...lolol...I just wish upon release, ARRMA would've given some instructions in the box towards what goes where and for what for those wanting to use them. Most people just do away with them from what I've heard.🤷🏾♂️
I really like the way you connected the LEDs to the frame, Super clean! If you have a 3D printer, you can maybe print up some black plastic washers for on top and it would look a lot better, in my personal oppinion... Otherwise, Super clean work! :)
I appreciate it, and yes I wish I had a 3D printer to be able to do a lot of my ideas....something to invest in for some of my future ideas.
@@DaVerseOfficial I have Two 3D printers, and I don't know what I would do without them, lol, especially when it comes to my RC 💡ideas... I highly recommend the Ender 3 Pro on Amazon, with a few select mods, they have been serving me well for over 3 years now. 😁👍🏼 I'm getting ready to light up my Vendetta and your video just inspired me to do a few things differently and I'm looking forward to this project now, lol! 🥳

@@DaVerseOfficial I get into them from time to time, lol, but I also have other activities that I enjoy more sometimes. LED lighting can also get complicated sometimes, especially when you want to do right... :) I'll post it on my channel when I finish it.
@@MoisFamilyTech lol, I hear ya, I'm the same way. And LEDs are very tricky at first but get easier as long as you know the voltage required and the type of LEDs your wanting to use.

What’s tha cap pks for?
The Cap Packs are basically for eliminating ripple effects in current. In other words when you full throttle it lessens your chance for voltage drop and protects your esc from going into protect mode or popping the caps that are on the ESC. BUT in doing so, it can cause your motor Temps to rise.

It's basically used for 2 main reasons, to prevent voltage cut-out and to prevent the esc from overheating/being damaged. If you look at my ESC exploding video, you will see what happens when you don't have one, but that was with Arrmas old ESC setup. Hope this helps.💯🤝🏾

Hey bro, I am keen to grab a felony or infraction but want to grab a nice esc motor combo which is sensored , as big as I can throw in there motor wise do u have any recommendations along with a decent motor mount ? thanks bro for sharing
Honestly, in my infraction and felony i was good with the stock electronics for what i was doing...i never changed the electronics in them...but as far as motor and esc combos, its honestly preference..when i built my Kraton 8s EXB, I used the HOBBYWING ESC and Motor COMBO...really solid, waterproof, and nothing but great experience...you have to just ask yourself what youll be doing mostly, Speed Runs with a few passes, or bashing it like drifting and smoking the tires....from there i would look on here/youtube and see what other youtubers use in their setups...sorry i dont have much info on it.

@RenStimpy-qb2qu yeah i hear ya, ive been back and forth with my wants....after having quite a few....im still confused of my wants...lol, i feel im more of a onroad basher, i have the XRT, AND ITS GREAT, but it sits for the most part. If i had the space for it to really jump it, i would enjoy it more, but its still brand new, only ran it one time for video purposes, and am now selling it...probably crazy to a lot of people, and i get it, but thats what i do, buy em, customize em, show how to customize it and sell it...lol, but i honestly get my most joy out of the infraction...when the average person sees the XRT, they assume its the fastest rc because of its size and price point, but when i had my infraction and people would see it, they would glance, laugh like its just a toy, then i punch it, drift and smoke the tires, and they come talk to me..." Damn man, that thing is fast, like crazy fast, i know its gotta be thousands of bucks, what u put in it?"...i can go on and on, but in short, i want another infraction and enjoy it again.💯🤝
What does the cap pack do?
It basically helps with stabilizing the voltage at higher speeds. Usually the car may bog down at high speeds, but with the newer arrma cars, they come with a Cap-pack attached to the ESC.
How does the positive on the post work
It's soldered to a JST plug, which is soldered to a power invertor/booster, which is then soldered to a JT plug and is plugged straight into the receiver.
I gotta take that wiring connection for the lights and cap pack and where you get those from
I bought the pieces from amazon, and built everything from scratch myself.
That’s I was thinking of doing that instead of having a battery just for the lights, which is best
@DennisWright-m6m most people use a secondary battery, but with how i do it, i dont because i use a power booster chip off of my main battery and everything runs fine.
Ok how does that power chip work . I just bought a felony 6s m. I also have a Mojave 6s . I came work with it put these speed cars not too much . So that’s why I’m asking
@DennisWright-m6m ok lets say your led lights need 12v of power but you only have a double A battery, theres no way it will power it, thats where the chip comes in, it takes 1.5v input, and ups the power to 12v.

How much does your setup cost
I honestly forgot, but ¾ of it was factory, but most of the stuff I upgraded was around $300 plus the cost of the RC....then another $200 for the LIPO batteries, but that was just preference... Amazon has some OVONIC LIPO batteries which from self experience are really good.

I don't really work on projects for people, but I can guide you and give u tips as to how to configure it all.
The way you have it set up so there’s no wires between the body and the chasis is brilliant, not sure if I can pull that off. You a genius bro!

fast servo would suck. because when ur going at high speeds it would steer to quickly and u would crash
Actually going at fast speeds really doesn't matter when AVC is on, and on top of that you can adjust your steering response depending on the transmitter you have. But I've never crashed going 80+ and turning my steering fully left and right quickly....I guess I use the quick servo more so for drifting purposes.
Just turn down the steering dual rate when you don't want alot of steering input

Yeah, VERY....and that's just for the CAR, once you add LIPO Batteries at $79-$144 per one 3s 100c, that's another almost $300, then a good charger and upgrades you do....it adds up quick...an easy $1,400-$1,600 depending on what your trying to do...but for some guys on here, it's like $2000+, but some youtubers are sponsored or work at hobby shops and get discounts....wish I had it like that...lol
