Nice job Ryan. Do you have to torque the nuts to a specific value?

I had these same shocks front and rear only lasted around 6 months. I ordered the king shocks expensive but see how long they last.

You over tighten the securing nuts. The rubber bushings are to expand to the size of the washer or s LITTLE beyond.

hey brother thanks a lot for your videos I was able to do it with out this high fees, I'm not sure if theres a rush truck center near you , but if you open an account with them and you call to the department of parts most of the times these guys will drop the price way more some times that amazon or other places.

Did you use the same part number for the front shocks?

Are you happy with the rear shocks after months of running? I'm going to be purchasing some so wanted your input.

How much do you think you saved doing it yourself? What would a shop charge for this job?

The last I saw at TA/Petro service centers was around $50 per shock, just for labor, plus they most likely will mark up the price of the shocks by 20% or more. I find pretty good deals for parts online and save a lot with that. On this job, I would say I saved atleast $300 between labor and parts savings.

I’d like to know how the shocks are holding up. I was using the oiled Gabril shocks and they kept busting every 4-6 months.

We're at about 3 months and 30,000 miles on the front shocks with no issues so far. I just put the rears on, so only about 1000 miles on them today, we will do a review video on both sets when they fail.

8:09 - I think you put the bushing on upside down. oh, at 8:50 you realized that.
