I totally disagree with the guy who said reviews are a waste of time. I base most of my purchases on reviews, especially since we can’t always walk into a hobby shop and look inside the box. We’re buying mostly online so it’s the only way we can see exactly what we’re buying. Keep up the good work, Nigel, I watch all of your videos. Thanks!
Not all reviews are equal. Some are, indeed, a waste of time but others, like yours, are always extremely detailed and informative. I know which I prefer. Of course, if the subject does not attract, there is, as they say, an off button.
Exactly.. i was watching the Northwest rally on Saturday.. Terrible weather in the middle of nowhere and everyone in the chat was complaining about poor resolution!! Its free to view FFS!!!
Indeed there are reviewers in it to profit, but most are reviewing to ultimately help their community. It's up to the consumer to decide which reviews are legit and base the purchase on. Nigel is in a category all his own a review/history lesson/how to/how not to. I'm not a big bomber kit guy, but I love his attention to detail, information such as changes for authenticity.
It just happens that I saw a few videos yesterday criticising in box reviews, and some aspects of a particular no longer available brand of model. Thanks for your perspective, and I agree with you. You are one of two English TH-cam modellers that I look at first thing in the morning (being in Oz, it is quite timely given yours and the others posting times)! Both of you are skilled builder of kits, and know what you are talking about when you look at what is in the box, even before building it. BTW just received a WNW 1/32 Sopwith Snipe that the Australian seller accepted a very reasonable price for!
Wonderful addition to the kit. Nigel, your explanation of how everything fit together and worked was excellent. I have not been a huge fan of the subject, but now I am really interested.
My god, first you were attacked by trolls, now it’s Merchant bankers and bar stewards. It’s a shame these people are so jealous of someone that has worked hard to get where he is today and also gives his time freely to answer questions others have in addition to producing excellent and helpful reviews and builds.
🙈 that's typical I've paid for mine yesterday, along with some other bits. If I'd known to mention you're name. Ow well, done now. Once again, his stuff looks fantastic, well worked an made. Great review by yourself as well, keep up the good work
Nigel, Thank you for the review. I have reached out to Chris on my interest to purchase this upgrade based on your review. Not sure if I will be the first to make the request but fingers crossed. By the way I was able to download and print the instructions to follow along with you. It's amazing the design that went int the whole mechanism to carry the bomb and then release it. Do you know yet if you will do a build using this kit? Sorry if you mentioned in the video and I missed it.
I was going to get it this month. The vets bill for one of my dogs disagreed with me. No contest really the dog comes first every time. I just have to save again first😢😂
Hello Martin, that’s not possible. Reason is, that most of the parts would need a redesign as they are designed for 1/32 scale and the printer (and the settings of that one) I am using
Firstly your videos, review and build, are worth their (mixed-metaphor) weight in gold. It would be nice, hint-hint, for some enterprising person to sell the complete package. The kit and all the relevant after-market products, in one really big box. Modellers with deep-pockets are going to buy all of the after-market separately, each with a shipping fee. Why not assemble everything with one shipping fee to worry about?
Oh, as I have mentioned before - with instructions also included, that actually conform to the kit and with revised build sequences, based on experience.

Keep the good work going do not bother what some guys say
Good video and for the record I like review videos a lot, they really help me decide on which models to buy or not, so please don't stop doing them.
Dont worry, I'll never stop reviews.
Nigel, thats a gorgeous 3D printed figure of Gibson and his dog

All the information in this video is exactly why product reviews are so important and vital. Good on you Nige. Brilliant research, thank you. 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent Nigel. I think unboxing are tremendously helpful if not just entertaining. Cheers that's very nice upgrade.
Glad you enjoyed it John.

Oh balls.. sorry about that.
@NigelsModellingBench it's not your fault. Sometimes these things happen

Congratulations!!
I'm looking forward to a review of the Das Werk Vomag & Flak, even though I've already got it. (Saw your comments on Jeff's channel)
Coming soon!

Are they going to do a 1/48, for the hkm version
Thats a good call..

Interesting, upgrade for a £600 kit. 🙄Will you be using this on your Border Model Dambuster kit Nigel?
Maybe, yes if I ever build it.
@@NigelsModellingBench Don’t say that, I got my kit hoping to follow the build 😟, don’t make start doing my own research 🧐
You need to feel the pain of doing the research Justyn!! The arguments, the eureka moments and the hours of studying pictures to find one poxy part.

One last comment, promise. How about a video demonstrating how to remove and work with these microscopic printed products?
There are videos out there, like on the Airscale site. I can do one though.
Great god
