@@bananaislandfilms two things - the generational trauma for Craig’s family and that divide between those in and out, and absolutely stoked the family on the outside are in contact. And 2 how abhorrent the treatment towards LBGTQAI+ people within the PPBC. My heart goes out to all the kids (and adults) who are subjected to that kind of hate and how this causes them to hate themselves. And the terrible choice of losing your family if you leave or losing yourself if you stay. So heartbreaking. It was also interesting reading about the brethren in New Zealand, as that’s where I live and their number is quite a big population in my town from what I can tell.
