This is so dope having a father and son work as a team. The crazy part is that the system doesnt even have to be bled after replacing the master cylinder as its the highest point in the clutch system. Pump the clutch a few times to regain pressure and fill the reservoir and it will be fine. Slave cylinder is obviously another story.
I had to cut a box wrench in half to be able to get up in there and break it loose on mine. Not a fun time for sure. Looks like it might be time for a carbon fiber hood lol.
You can install the Katech Bleeder with the drivetrain in the car and you can pull the intake manifold and lay across the engine to bleed from the bay...
I've since pulled the entire drivetrain to rebuild the torque tube and put in a fresh clutch. I added the tick performance bleeder extension while I was at it.
I didn’t 🥲I just drained the fluid from the reservoir in the engine bay after replacing the clutch master cylinder. Cleaned it out as much as I possibly could and it’s been working decent since then.

@@AaronLatimer ain't nothing but money homie lol 😂
Great to see a dad and son working together.I own a c5 corvette and the slave cylinder is leaking.98000 miles on it.keep up the good work.
So sorry that happened, but you handled it well. We’ve all been there.
I felt your struggle to hold back tears/vomit. What a terrible mistake. I'm sorry.
I felt your pain when I saw that huge scratch 💔
Bro I felt that so hard agh. When I saw the truck, I felt the vibe. Wooo. TH-cam fun. 🥳
So how did you end up getting the air out of the line if you couldne reach the bolt? I need all the help i can get bro

Moral of the story. Pay the money for a new clutch slave and master cylinder and have a solid corvette guy throw it in and add that bleeder to it.
Seriously. I recently tore out the rear end. Rebuilt the torque tube, put in a fresh clutch and added the bleeder valve.
Maybe 3500 hundred if yu get a mantis or monster clutch lol
3 gs later lol
