I’m obsessed with all of the realistic aspects that clearly make it just a kid filming his friend group instead of a whole fancy film. It’s really the small things, the movement of the camera not always being perfect, Basil coughing, instead of everything being easy to do mari saying she has to check first because sunny can’t go without her.. the little imperfections of filming reality just for fun is what makes this style so perfect.

That fucking ending... You still there, listening to those kids just having casual conversation, maybe having a dumb smile to just being able to hear their interactions and then final scene pulls up. Camera isn't focused on anywhere in particular, the conversation is still happening but just somewhere further away from it and the random look around with gives this realistic feel of how would someone inexperienced with a camera would try to take a full shot of scenery and then boom. Random focus, just another shot someone would try to take, not something specific, just some forrest near the house, no sudden changes with a jumpscare, no intensity added with music only conversation getting more quiet to make you focus on the video itself and all that in a particular view that for someone who's not even familiar with a game enough could just overlook but those who understood will have their joy from all the previous moments pulled out by the roots by a simple reminder made rather unintentionally in the context but effectively set by author. But in the end it's nothing much. Just a tree up on a hill.

the mix of how nostalgic this looks and the knowledge of _what's going to happen to the characters in the near future_ is what causes the discomfort. it feels like a countdown, but we don't know the exact numbers, so all we can really do is wait. we already know that *something* is about to happen soon.
I agree. For those who HAVE PLAYED it’s both sad and horrifying because we know the story (which is the scary part) and everything is just a waiting game on when the main stuff drops. Also you slightly feel bad for the characters because we know what happens to these kids down the road.
I love everything about this. I really like how it’s really only eerie if you’ve actually played the game in a foreshadow-y sort of sense. Hard to say it in words but this is genuinely one of the best OMORI fan-works I’ve seen.
I love how realistic this looks. The detail of the shaky camera movements and hearing Basil shifting the camera and coughing at one point, and talking in the backround. It’s wonderful.

This is truly fantastic. I see the tiny details that allude to the events of the main story. On another note... any time someone interacts with Mari it breaks my heart a little. If they'd only known, they would have spent every spare moment they could with her. Same goes with reality of course - I think many of us know what it's like to regret not spending just a little more time with our passed loved ones.

Oh my goodness this is adorable as always and such a step up too! Everyone's voice actors are great, Aubrey is co consistently cheery and I love how much expression you gave to her. Meanwhile Sunny's so shy even to talk into Basil's camera haha. And then Hero and Kel getting back, again with great voice actors. Love Hero having to big brother Kel, and while Basil talks to Hero there's the whole subplot of Kel giving Aubrey a Hector (the rock) lol. And then finally we get to see Mari! Of course she's doing her pianos lessons... it is _that_ summer after all... she's a bit more reserved than I would've expected but it's also pretty fitting, especially with how she explains how busy she is. And don't think I didn't notice her blushing and tucking her hair behind her ear when Aubrey mentions Hero! And of course, Basil ending the recording focusing on that tree...
This series is literally my new favorite, it looks so realistic, I am already a huge fan. The fact that the world of OMORI is becoming real.. feels so.. surreal? i don't know, I am just really impressed by this and swept away by the amazing quality. Please keep making more content I will love each and every moment! I can't wait to see where this goes
This entire series is amazing, but this is probably the most impressive thing I've seen so far. The characters are composited seamlessly. The voice actors match their characters. God, I love it!

I don't think it really means anything. He was playing a video game with a neutral expression and turned his eyes to Mari when she appeared. I think it's too early for that kind of thing because the first photo that mentions the recital, is taken 2 months later. They didn't mention anything about the recital either. Hero said there is a new song Mari plays by herself.
Just mimicing every other comment at this point but wow this is unreal. What a beautifully perfect depiction of these characters. This entire vlog feels so genuine in the VAs delivery and the camera's shakiness, the cutting, etc. (which I can't even imagine how much of a pain that was to track and animate). Thank you for giving us just a little more time with these characters in their happiest days, a scarce gift which is always so bittersweet. Amazing work! Can't wait to see more!!

Theres so many things I love about this All their voices! Kel, Hero, Aubrey, and Sunny and basil's voices are perfect. I esp love Heros voice, and Sunnys bc he only has 1 line of dialogue in the actual game but I found this potrayal of his speech so accurate I love the grainy effect and the small background noises like cars, basil's cough, people talking in bg, and sunny's video game music Also i love how the song coming from Sunny's game is good morning Ofc hector makes a wonderful appearance I love him
The whole interaction feels so genuine. You can feel the friendship in full effect here. Nothing happened and it'll always be that way, right? Another thing I really like is just how random some of the shots are. Just like how I used to be when I was kid recording stuff.

This series is literally my new favorite, it looks so realistic, I am already a huge fan. The fact that the world of OMORI is becoming real.. feels so.. surreal? i don't know, I am just really impressed by this and swept away by the amazing quality. Please keep making more content I will love each and every moment! I can't wait to see where this goes

This entire series is amazing, but this is probably the most impressive thing I've seen so far. The characters are composited seamlessly. The voice actors match their characters. God, I love it!
BRO I SRSLY cant even EXPRESS. how good this is. this is actually AMAZING. i was like gasping the whole way through it, it looks so realistic, the voicing is AMAZINGLY ON POINT (especially KEL i was IMPRESSED). the fact that the backgrounds were filmed like irl adds so much volume to the work and the characters were animated and drawn in so well!! videos like these always bring me back to OMORI, its such a amazing game, and the talented people who make content out of it always bring a smile to my face! Keep the good work up! ill be supporting the whole way through it

I don't think it really means anything. He was playing a video game with a neutral expression and turned his eyes to Mari when she appeared.
I think it's too early for that kind of thing because the first photo that mentions the recital, is taken 2 months later. They didn't mention anything about the recital either. Hero said there is a new song Mari plays by herself.

Just mimicing every other comment at this point but wow this is unreal. What a beautifully perfect depiction of these characters. This entire vlog feels so genuine in the VAs delivery and the camera's shakiness, the cutting, etc. (which I can't even imagine how much of a pain that was to track and animate). Thank you for giving us just a little more time with these characters in their happiest days, a scarce gift which is always so bittersweet. Amazing work! Can't wait to see more!!

All their voices! Kel, Hero, Aubrey, and Sunny and basil's voices are perfect. I esp love Heros voice, and Sunnys bc he only has 1 line of dialogue in the actual game but I found this potrayal of his speech so accurate

The whole interaction feels so genuine. You can feel the friendship in full effect here. Nothing happened and it'll always be that way, right? Another thing I really like is just how random some of the shots are. Just like how I used to be when I was kid recording stuff.
