Hi Frank. We have really put these boards through their paces and they have done well to survive. Canoeing and kayaks are also great fun. We considered kayaks but there is always a risk of these breaking free from the fixings in a heavy sea. Next video is about to come out and after that we head to Toau where the footage is great and something new to watch.
7:17 You're ONLY ten!? When your father was 10 he had to wake up at 2 in the morning to walk 50 miles to school through blizzard. Uphill both ways! And he had to carry a stick to fight off the wolves. KEEP PUMPING!
"44" "44? You don't look 44." I couldn't quite hear the response, something about being lucky, and 'birthday'... Nathan certainly meant you looked much younger... didn't you, Nathan.? Great post, you should get compensation from the manufacturer. I would almost consider one for myself, if only I was stable enough and there weren't any alligators in my lake. As far as age, I do feel weird about being the same age as old people. Best to the Taylor family! Jerry 😁
Yes, much older unfortunately. Time goes past too quickly. At the time of the video I am 49 (yes I lied about my age on the video). Nathan suggested that I am 59 in the video. I said to Nathan that he was lucky that he had just had his birthday suggesting if it was coming up he may get less presents for saying I am 59. Definitely don't go paddle boarding amongst the alligators. It sounds like an interesting place where you live. I like your comment about about' being the same age as old people'. How does it creep up on us so quickly. Take care Jerry and thanks for watching.
@@SailingMokara 😅 I rather suspected there was some humor in your retort to the kid! We live in Southwest Florida, USA, and in 99/100 lakes, ponds and streams, you'll find a gator. I'll be 79 soon, so not as quick as them gators! Thank you for posting!
7:38 I think it's been too long since ten year old boys fell off your boat in the middle of the night and had to float till a Coast Guard picked them up two weeks later.
A lot of them are. They are designed with thin threads between the opposite flat surfaces of the boards which allows you to inflate it to an incredible pressure without the board distorting. Excellent design. There are solid options out there but we didn't want one of those onboard. Time to put your costume on and head to the beach with your paddle board...
Seems very useful, for transport, sight-seeing, and fun. Easier than lugging a canoe around.

How did you know. It was exactly like that. There were also bears.

FIFTY NINE!?!?!?!? Not bad, mate, not bad.
49...... is the truth. Thankfully not 59 but feel that I am heading there quickly.
@@SailingMokara Just think of yourself as a good wine... Or concrete dam. The older the better. 😀

Yes.... It was a harsh comment.... Cut to the bone.
@@SailingMokara **shaking my head** kids these days... UGH
And now I want to go buy a paddle board.
Just do it...!
I'm in shock. I've seen them on the boat but I thought they were just styrofoam. They are INFLATABLE!!!!!!!
