Connie Mayer is a hybrid cross between Hylocereus undatus (from Mexico) x Hylocereus stenopterus (from Costa Rica) ... now go to TH-cam and view “Kim Phan Dragon Fruit Connie Gee” ... Connie Gee is a hybrid cross using Connie Mayer x Guatemala #1 ... and view Queen Daenerys... another sister seedling to Connie Gee.

The coconut 🌴 🥥 or some say lychee nut ambiance and flavor is from the Hylocereus stenopterus... it fruit is on the white side and no larger than the first joint on your thumb ... it’s the only hylocereus species with a purple lavender flower ... this species doesn’t enjoy direct sun in its youth and is very cold sensitive when grown north of the equator ... Connie Mayer is best harvested when it’s a light pink... when left on too long it becomes sweeter, but with a softer flesh ... the Connie Mayer can reach 12”++ and is a gorgeous purple-lavender-white flower...

Get someone else to try it, the dude has no taste bud. At 19+ brix, the first sensation should be sweetness. He may be a nice guy, but he is of no use for taste tests.
