Turbo XS Axle Back Exhaust on 2004 Subaru Forester XT (cold start sound clip)

For those looking at an axle back exhaust, here’s a clip of my Turbo XS axle back exhaust on a stock 2004 Subaru Forester XT. (Audio is better when played through headphones or speakers) I wanted to hear what the exhaust sounded like before I installed the Cobb AP and flat panel filter.

Was there any drone when driving with just the Axle back?

No drone, which is why I went with an axle back. I've read read reviews on the Turbo XS exhaust, and chose this brand because it wasn't excessively and annoyingly loud. This is my daily driver, so i didn't want to expose my wife and kids to that overwhelming drone sound.
I do plan on possibly going cat-back, or even turbo-back soon, but i'm not sure if that will put me over the top with the noise level.

yes, stock down pipe. no other mods. just the axleback exhaust. Plan on making another video doing a drive by, then installing the Cobb AP and panel filter. Been raining way too much though here in Washington.

thanks for the vid... I'm looking at same exhaust... with stick down pipe(emmissions state) hey next could you do a before and after but with a decibal volume measuring app. I like the sound but it's hard to tell how loud it is. Cheers
