The plastic drain tool that comes with the filter is not a drain plug. Toyota calls it a service pipe. It actually unplugs the filter. Isn't 5 quarts a bit over-full? Torque specs... Engine drain plug = 30 ft.lbs. Oil filter housing cap = 18 ft.lbs. Oil filter cap drainbolt = 9 ft.lbs.
