- Follow along as Eric walks you through his process for quickly exporting basic model information to use as the basis of a digital concept sketch. Eric's using Photoshop but this process can be done just as easily with other apps such as Procreate, Morpholio Trace, Etc.

Great video! The LESS detail at the beginning of meetings with a client the better! This can be easily done with programs like Rebelle for a more painterly look too. Great tip to use colors in the Sketchup model to select areas for painting later, this save hours... Try using the Shadows layer in MULTIPLY mode.
Very good, I have actually built entire finished renderings by layering various elements, really works great. Thanks for the refresher course, Great Job. I am now using Affinity Photo 2 vs Photoshop.
Your videos are fantastic! I just had to subscribe!
Really nice Eric👍
This is exactly the technique i have been using for years when doing backgrounds for advertising visuals.
Hi, did u use macbook? Which one? Thank you🙏🏻
iMac Pro ;)
what did you blur out right under "x-ray" when you went to View > Face Style ??? at timestamp 1:54 .... just curious.
Ambient Occlusion 🤫
I see that now when watching a video on the new features of SketchUp 2024... looking forward to using that. It’s already time to remake this video and use Ambient Occlusion with your digital sketch technique.
@@donrushtonGood call. It's so new I havent even done a sketch like this with AO. Looking forward to testing it out and see how it looks!
Is this the same model the other guy did ambient occlusion on?
