Perfectly "smooth", but, the taste!!! We dunno!!! The way flemish people do it, is mash the potatoes with just a simple masher, then add butter & milk, do the seasoning, and voila, delicious! We like to taste the potatoe gritz!
Sounds fantastic! The only thing I did different was add the sour cream. Give it a try you might like it :)
