for this building design, I wanted to make a farmhouse using some later game materials that has enough space for a fair amount of farming plots. which can be expanded upon as needed. This Soulmask Farmhouse design works best as part of a village rather than a build on its own.

I wanted to make a building that had floor tiles for farms to go on, as finding large patches of truely flat land for farmland is difficult.
Because of the new update alowing for changing inventory size, I can hopefully start making larger builds, as now weight isnt a problem with 15k carry capacity.

0:38 I need pictures like this to easily recreate the build. Many creators don’t bother with this. Also, you build the buildings the way a survival player will build them, I hate it when build guides are built with flying creator mode characters ^^ really appreciate your work :D

Another great build with lots of modularity! Would that coverage area let us double up the plots by mirroring to the back as well? Just got a ‘Master Farmer’ and want to keep a steady workload going for them with their +20% yield trait as it frees up some space in the proficiency choices. Do you assign one thrall to work the granary and all the benches or split it up between 2-3?

and yup, if anything you could build extra farms to the side with a coverage area of 40, personally I find 1 farmer is enough for all the farming, plants grow slow enough and need so little tending that 1 is more than enough so long as they are just focused on farming and making fertiliser.
What do you do about the Comfort buff now that we know all the stuff minus crafting benches has to be around the bonfire? And there is a wt limit of 15 k ? Is that a setting that can be changed? I thought it was just the number if items I. Your bag that could be changed? a

honestly I havent been too worried about comfort, the buff is nice, but I rarely try and be hyper efficient in survival games, just efficient enough so that its comfortable.
and yeah, there is 2 settings, one for inventory size, and one for weight, I cant remember their names but they are right next to each other. honestly the weight one is going to be super useful when making larger builds, this build I was making right before the update so I was setting stuff out in boxes so that I could run and grab more foundations, but I could just pile them all in my inventory which made it so much easier.

@@ZerosterGuides thank you so much 😭 hopefully this isn't a hefty request 🥲 but I'm wanting a base big enough to hold about 30 tribesmen plus all upgraded crafting tables a farm area and another area to hold 3 mounts a breeding farm and a few room/places for different furniture and facilities like bathrooms beds baths etc 😖 please let me know if it's to much I know it's a pretty big base design I stumbled cross my first fortress the other day and got inspiration from that
@@Joy404Error honestly thats something im trying to design now anyway, usually my bases are quite small in survival games, but there seems to be a ton of people wanting a larger base in soulmask,
and I have the settings turned up for more tribes people as well, so I also need a base where they get stuck a little less often.
I cant say when It will be, but it is something im planning on making hopefully sooner rather than later.
