It takes 2-3 days. As we need to wait till it dries completely before we move to next step

Ohhh! That’s weird? Which paint have u used? I apply chalk paint. And then varnish again

I use acrylic most of the time, but it’s happened with chalk paint as well…my final step is mod podge the back of plate over all the paint
