    Great recommendations!! They all look good. My wife and I might try a couple of your suggestions when we're there in a few weeks. We have already booked Dersou, and trying to also get a reservation at Septime.

    • @theparisasiangirl4449
      @theparisasiangirl4449  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's wonderful! For Septime it is super hard to get a reservation without actually going there in person and asking... if you're staying more than 2 weeks I recommend you try and go directly to the restaurant to ask for a reservation. Otherwise I'll also recommend you try La Cave du Septime for drinks and aperitive plates, and the Clamato (which are both next to the Septime and from the same group). If you like Neo Bistro-style I would also highly recommend a reservation at Tomy&co (7th arrondissement)!

    Hi, just to say thank you for the suggested places to eat. My wife and I absolutely loved Mokonuts, definitely will be returning. We also tried Pierre Sang, but unfortunately, a little disappointed. Meals were well cooked, but certain dishes the flavours didn’t go together very well, or overwhelmed the primary ingredient. Dersou was awesome, another place that I would return to.
    All the best with the vlogging!

    I really enjoyed the video and the previous videos too.
    I will visit Paris in end of June and I am looking for the places to eat in Paris.
    It's really hard for non-french speakers to find the right restaurants. So this kind of video is really helpful!
    I want to watch this kind of video more.

    Have to check these places out when I visit Paris. I'm just worry since I don't speak any French

    • @theparisasiangirl4449
      @theparisasiangirl4449  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      France is not Asia ;-) many Parisians do speak English (not all, and not always very well but usually enough if you want to get help or ask a question) and pretty much all touristic places have English signs / menus / translations... but for the best little restaurants etc. you'll have to get a little help. But usually even in those restaurants you have someone who speaks English.

    Help!! I'm going to Paris for the first time in October. Where should I stay Le Marais? St. Germaine? 2nd arrondisment??

    • @theparisasiangirl4449
      @theparisasiangirl4449  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Those arrondissements are all great areas to stay in, but of course, the price for the appartments/hotels are also expensive. It all really depends on your budget, what kind of neighborhood you like most (calm and quiet or busy and lively at night...), where you want to go mostly in Paris, etc.

    Ok I do like the diversity of restaurants but honestly the last thing I want is to go to Paris and eat food I can eat here in the US. Maybe something saying “non French” disclaimer would be nice for those hoping to eat Asian-Mediterranean food rather then French. But I have plenty of that where I live, do you have a video with actual French food dinning recommendations?

  • @HaiNguyen-zh8cv
    @HaiNguyen-zh8cv 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, I will surely visit one of the restaurants recommended by you. I have one question about tipping in Paris. I remember that tipping is no longer mandatory in Europe but what is your take about this? Thanks

    • @theparisasiangirl4449
      @theparisasiangirl4449  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Tipping is indeed optional in Paris, but I would say that people are more likely going to tip in fancier restaurant rather than fast-eating places - although, there is no rules. I would advise to give 5%-10% of the total bill to be generous, but usually Parisians often give out just a few coins, like 2-3 euros when they eat in a casual place.

    Bonjour,
    Love your videos, Im going to share on my Facebook page "Stacys Must Love Travel" I am a travel agent and have never been to Paris, I will be coming in June with my 13 year old daughter and husband, who will be working 4 days in Paris, so it will only be me and my daughter. Do you have recommendations for restaurants for kids (my daughter doesnt like fancy food)? Is Uber safe? Any other tips would be great

    • @theparisasiangirl4449
      @theparisasiangirl4449  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Stacey, thanks for tuning in ;-) I guess in any French brasserie or restaurant, they serve food that kids like, if yours like something like steak or chicken and fries for instance! If they like American diners and burgers, I would recommend "Breakfast in America" : breakfast-in-america.com/?lang=en which looks like a little American diner, as for burgers there is the "Paris New York Burger" : www.pny-hamburgers.fr/locations-2/ and the Big Fernand : bigfernand.com/adresses/#france&paris
      These are for the best gourmet burgers in Paris. Every ingredient tailored to perfection, home made, etc... But if you just want to grab a quick average burger, there are also many Mac Donald's around and a European burger fast food franchise, "Quick". And yes, Uber is safe to use in Paris! You can also use the app "Chauffeur Privé" as well.
