  • ►Have you ever pulled up to the drive-through window to get your first cup of coffee of the day, hit the switch to roll down the window, and boom!? Your Volvo S60 window glass tilts, slides down crooked, and eventually drops down into the door sideways. So frustrating!
The P2 chassis vehicles have sliding blocks that ride on two rails which are attached to the window glass on one side, and Volvo window regulator on the other. Over time these blocks become brittle and eventually break. Once they crumble, there's nothing holding the glass into place. Since this is a known issue, it's not a bad idea to replace them as preventative maintenance.

    - First, remove the inside mirror cover.
    - Next, remove the grab handle cover.
    - Now, remove the two T-25 torx behind the cover.
    - Then, remove the 8 push pin door panel clips.
    - Now, remove the door panel, unhook the door handle release clip, and remove the connectors from the panel.
    - Cut around the grey insulation cover with a razor blade and remove it.
    - Position the window regulator to where you can gain access. This is easier if you hook the switch back up and power the regulator into place.
    - Remove the lock clips from the sliding blocks.
    - Remove the blocks and replace.
    - Grease the rails in which the blocks pivot.
    -Installation in reverse order.
