@Joseph-dq5wb, your words are truly touching. What a blessing to have those three little angels by your side at such a difficult time. It's amazing how our furry companions know how to give us love and comfort without saying a word, but feeling it all. I'm glad you had those beautiful furry hearts with you. Thank you for opening your heart to us and sharing this very special story.
There the best therapy there is I never knew how deep of a bond I would have with my 3 fur babies. I have always been close to my babies but even deeper now.
It's the hardest thing I've ever dealt with and I don't understand why it happened but I do thank God for the time we had. I wasn't even a cat person before I met my wife however she converted me into one lol. I had a kitty growing up she lived 22 and a half years old. It hurt so bad to lose her I just didn't want to get close to another cat. It's just like losing a human family member when they pass.
In my experience of having had three orange males, each one was extraordinarily sweet, laid back, and affectionate. But for the last 16 years I’ve had two tuxedo litter mates, and they’re both extremely attached to me, following me wherever I go in the house. They even slept with me when I was in an hospital bed at home after two different major surgeries, and they left me only to eat and attend to their litter box business. They are such a comfort to me always.
@janeceeastwood8035 Wow, what a beautiful story! 🧡 It's amazing how cats can sense when we need them most, and your tuxedo cats seem like true companions, especially during those difficult times. Tuxedo cats are known for forming strong bonds, and your experience with them really highlights their loyal and comforting nature. Thank you for sharing such a touching memory. It's comforting to know how deeply connected we can be to our furry friends! 🐾💖
Mine too. Had Friskie for 15 years. He was extremely layed back. Loved anyone and any animal. He even taught kittens how to use the litter box and other things they needed to know. When we rode in a car he wouldn't ride in the carrier but on someone's lap. In those times he got a leash on.
@hemakalyanasundaram1936 What a wonderful and diverse family you have! Six gorgeous rescues, each with their own personality and charm. It's amazing how these little companions fill our home with life and love, isn't it? Each of your cats sure brings something unique and special to the table, making every day a new adventure. ❤🐾 Thank you for rescuing and giving them so much love. 😊
@cindykaywebster4643 What a beautiful gesture to rescue that little girl! Gray and white kittens have a special sweetness, and it's clear that she found a loving home in you. It's amazing how they come to mean so much to us! 🐾 💖 Thank you for sharing your story and giving your new friend a chance
@veronicataylor780 Totally agree! Black and tuxedo cats have a way of winning our hearts like no other. 🖤🐾 They are simply irresistible and full of personality. Thanks for sharing the love for these wonderful felines!
Interesting. I have a female tuxedo who gave birth to a female tuxedo and a solid black male. The black male is beyond affectionate, but his tuxedo sister does Not like to be touched! She likes to be very near me and follows me around, but cringes when touched. I don't understand it.
Yup my best cat ever was a reverse tuxedo (mostly white with black bits on his feet and head). He was my constant companion for nearly eighteen years, he is how I have measured all subsequent kitties that I have owned.
Did you know black and tuxedo cats are notoriously hard to adopt out?!?! My void and tuxie are sweet hearts so it hurts my heart to know some never get adopted.
My sister went to adopt a cat. She was looking at a cat, when the cat in the kennel at her ankles, started pawing at her jeans. She bent down to see a male Tuxie with green eyes. IVAR is a presence around the property. He is so sweet!
I had a black cat for 19 years. Her name was Kitty. My daughter named her when she was a baby and I love my cat. She was loyal, kind, loving, and a great cat. I still miss her..
@dsparks149 What a beautiful memory you have of Kitty! 🖤 It's amazing how cats leave a deep mark on us with their love and loyalty. Having such a special companion for 19 years is something that surely left a mark on your life. I completely understand that you miss her; her love and unique personality will always remain in your heart. Thank you for sharing her story, it is a beautiful tribute to the loyalty and affection that our feline friends offer us.
Our blackie was 19 when he left us. My husband received orders for Hawaii and one day he brought home this tiny ball of fluff who was barely weaned. We named him Sushi! He’s been gone about 12+ years and I still miss him!
My white cat was also a stray that chose me. He passed away last January as an old man.I grieve him terribly. He was so sweet and gentle. He adored me and it was mutual.
Ah…the tuxedo. Another stray cat that chose me. I named her Mewly. She was quite the little adventurer. Once she went missing for over a month. Apparently she took her daily explore and was lured into a cat collector’s house in our neighborhood. I had no idea what happened to her. In the predawn one morning I saw a cat on my patio. It was her! Her nose was all rubbed with scabs showing me she was trapped in a house by someone who planned to keep her. She never roamed again. Her passed away when she grew old and is buried in her favorite place in my backyard.
So true I had a calico cat for 19 years ....the most loving, but also highly independent cat. A truly challenging experience...she made herself an indoor outdoor cat . No Matter what I tried that girl found ways to go o outside ..but waiting every eve for me to come home from work on the porch. Then demanding all my attention lol. Which I gladly gave her. That girl was my confidant, my best friend.
What a lovely story, Angelika! 🐾 Your calico seems to have had a unique personality full of character. The way he insisted on being independent and yet waited for you every night on the porch is truly special. That mix of love and autonomy you described makes calicos so fascinating, right? Thank you for sharing such beautiful memories. Having someone so loyal and special by our side is truly a gift.
One of my cats I adopted from a pet food store and I'm so glad I did! She is great company and often speaks her mind about whatever is going on, in fact, she vocalizes so often that I am tempted to buy the "buttons' with programmable sounds so we might understand one another easier! One very strange thing about her, is her tendency to hide. Yes, she is extremely shy and nervous. She uses my bed as her hideout I'm not certain but I think she would rather not deal with humans in general, besides myself of course. She is silver colored and has Siamese markings, which is where I believe she gets her talkative nature. She is, frankly, my very best friend and I am honored to be her human!
Hi mamazalama! 😻 What a lovely story you have with your kitty. It's great that you're her "trusted human," and her vocal and reserved personality sounds really special. The idea of programmable buttons sounds fun - imagine the conversations you could have! Her tendency to hide may be part of that reserved nature that cats with Siamese-type markings sometimes have, and it's a sign of how much she trusts you by allowing you into her safe space. Thanks for sharing her story; you're obviously a very special human to her. 🐾💖
15:32 Cats are the best! I’ve had too many to count & loved them all, but my present cat is a female shorthair orange tabby! Her name is Bubbles & she’s practically human. Someone threw her out of a 3rd floor window when she was born (NYC) & survived. I rescued her. She had trauma & broken bones, but I took her to the vet & she made it! Today, she is beautiful & absolutely purrrfect. Intelligent beyond imagination. Best cat I ever had. She is 12yrs old now & my bestest friend. I love her more than some humans. LOL And I will be a mess when someday she’s gone. My last cat lived ‘til 20, so fingers crossed. Thx for ur informative video. All the best.
Hi Ana! What a touching story Bubbles has. 😻 It's amazing how cats can overcome so much with the love and care of people like you. I imagine Bubbles must have a unique strength and spirit, after everything she went through. It's beautiful to see how deep and special their connection is! Having her from such a small child until today, at 12 years old, has surely been an experience full of unforgettable moments. I send you a big hug and thank you so much for sharing this inspiring story! May Bubbles be with you for many more years. 🐾💕
Aww, what a touching story. Resonates so much with me. I got 12 cats, all rescued, and I love them all. Cats are so incredibly smart and loving. I rather spend time with my cats than with humans, lol. I wish you many many wonderful years with Bubbles. ❤
An island full of cats would be total paradise! 😻🏝️ With so many feline companions, there would never be a shortage of love and entertainment! Your tri and tabby sound like the perfect companions, full of personality and affection. 🐈🐈⬛❤️ Thanks for sharing that sweet cat dream; I wish all cat lovers could have a place like that!
In Japan their is an island that has thousands of cats living on it, they don’t belong to any person as there are few humans left and they are old people who have been there all their lives, they feed the cats a the government supports the cats food and health issues a vet or two are allocated to the cats, they are like the most friendliest cats you will ever meet, they are feral born and lived as they pleas. Though the fishermen and residents have always been there for the cats, some are neutered so as not to over populate the island but usually after the female has given birth to a litter. It’s heaven to me also if I could live there with these wonderful cats in Japan. 😻😸😽
I've had cats of many colors: black and white, grey and white, tortoiseshell, grey tabby, and orange tabby. Of these the three orange tabbies, all males, were definitely the smartest of the bunch. One example: my first orange tabby, Marmalade, came to us as a kitten when I was eight and my brother was five. My mother had never had a cat, only dogs, and she patiently tried to teach Marm to sit up and beg on command. Marm didn't seem very interested. Then one evening we were all at the dinner table and Marm strolled in from the luving room. He stopped about halfway across the floor, made sure we were all watching hom, and sat up in the begging position with front paws neatly folded. Then he dropped back to all fours and exited the room with great dignity. The message was clear.
What a lovely story, Morgan! 😸 Marmalade really knew how to make a clear statement and make a memorable entrance. Orange cats have such a unique personality and, as you say, they seem to be incredibly intelligent! Thank you for sharing this very special memory. Thank you for sharing about those unforgettable moments 🧡🐾
What beautiful words to describe your Calico cat! 🐾 Tricolor cats have unique personalities, and it's amazing to see how she combines that independence with so much love and devotion. What is one of the smartest or cutest things she does? We'd love to hear more about her 🧡🤍🖤😊
What a beautiful thing you say, Rose. Cats really are creatures full of love and beauty, each with their own unique charm. ❤🐾 I'm glad to know that you love them so much!
I totally agree, Library Mouse! Black cats have that beautiful mini panther vibe, so mysterious and elegant! 🐈⬛ They are truly captivating and it's wonderful to hear from other black cat fans. Thanks for sharing! 💫
Shiloh must be quite a character with his tuxedo style and love of attention! 🐾 How nice to know that he enjoys cuddles and sweets, those mustachioed guys sure know how to be the center of attention! Sounds like he's the king of the house, and well deserved! 😹❤️ Thanks for sharing a little about him
"Cassie sounds like quite the elegant lady! 🐾 Tuxedo cats have that unique demeanor that makes them look classy, and you can tell Cassie wore her 'suit' with a lot of style. How nice to remember our furry friends like this, with so much love. Thank you for sharing a little piece of their story; I'm sure it will always have a special place in your heart 🖤🥰
Thank you for your beautiful words, Catdog! It shows how much you appreciate each cat you've had over the years. They truly have a way of appreciating and connecting with us on a very deep level. Each one leaves a unique mark on our hearts. God bless these wonderful companions! ❤🐾
Thank you so much for your comment! We are so glad to know that you enjoyed the video and that you found it to be of quality. We work to share interesting and useful information about our wonderful feline friends. Thank you for watching and for your support!
@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy I actually told my husband about your video earlier today and how I was impressed with the science behind it. When I thought about all of the cats I've had and the ones my close family has had, the information is so spot on! I'm going to share this with the cat people I know.
Made me cry thinking of my gray kitten with gray eyes we brought home from the humane society when I was about eleven. He was so soft and so calm, and I knew you were going to identify these characteristics in gray cats. My dad toward the end of his life remembered this cat fondly and burst into tears. So I'm all emotional. Thank you, I've just enjoyed two of your videos.
Hi @globalheartwarming! ❤ Thank you for sharing such a touching memory. It's amazing how our furry friends leave such a lasting impact on our hearts and lives. It sounds like your gray kitty brought so much peace and joy to your family, and the fact that your dad remembered him so fondly speaks volumes about the love you all shared. Cats really have a way of staying with us, no matter how much time has passed. I'm so glad you enjoyed the videos, and I hope they brought back happy memories despite the tears. Sending you a big virtual hug! 🐾❤
Ive had many cats & loved all of them. I’ve had 2 calicos that met early sad endings. Many tiger cats. Honey was my orange girl & so sweet with my kids! I had a orange point Himalayan female, Mitzi, my top favorite kitty up until Covid. During lockdown, I rescued an 8 month old orange-point female Siamese. She is my most intelligent cat & sweet, hilarious & affectionate following me everywhere. ❤ 😻❤
What a cute story full of feline love, Michele! 🧡 Each of your cats seems to have left a special mark on your life. Mitzi and your orange point Siamese are an example of how cats can be so intelligent and loyal, especially during such difficult times like confinement 🐾 It's beautiful to know that they have always been by your side and that your new companion follows your path with such love.
Also, I had a purebred Himalayan that a breeder had thrown away like trash 😡😡😡 I hate breeders. Once I learned she hated to be picked up we became best friends. She was so sweet.
I had a grey and she was a sweetie. My tortus shell came and walked into my home, and never left. My 2 tabby males. The younger is extremely energentic. Zoomies are the norm with him. My other one was grey with white. She was very vocal. All my cats were adopted. 3 were feral.
@mdevorah6833 It sounds like you've had a wonderful array of feline personalities in your life! Each brings something unique to the table - your adorable grey cat, the independent tortoiseshell, and those lively tabby cats with their zoomies. It's heartwarming to know that you've opened your home to both adopted and feral cats, offering them a loving place to call home. Thank you for sharing their stories - they're lucky to have you! 🐱❤️😊
Thank you so much, Margret! 🐾❤ It's wonderful to hear that the video resonated with your experience. Cats really do have unique personalities, and it's amazing how their fur colors can sometimes reflect that! 😺
Thank you so much, @lisamcgill664! 🖤 Black cats are absolutely amazing, aren't they? Did you know that their beautiful fur is influenced by eumelanin and that they are also known for their striking yellow or green eyes? They are such mysterious and resilient little companions! Do you have a black cat at home? 🐾✨
@estherlee3939 Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. Cats really are beautiful and fascinating creatures, and it's great to be able to share a little more about them with people who love them as much as you do. ❤🐾
What a wonderful love for cats! 🐾✨ Having 9 cats at once is quite the loving experience. Calicos are truly special with their sweetness and unique personality. ❤️😺 Thank you for sharing your love for these amazing companions!
So glad to hear that the descriptions match your four kittens so well, Susan! 😊 Each of them must have a unique and charming personality, it's great that the video reflected their characteristics so well! Thanks for watching and sharing your experience 🐾😻
I have a lil guy~ orange & white ginger tabby- he's my sweetheart, hes right around 7 yrs old, hes a real sweetheart, i dont know what id do without him, his name is Punkin Lee 😺😺
Punkin Lee sounds like a real sweetheart! 🧡😺 Orange and white cats tend to have that special sweetness and personality that makes them unmatched companions. It's lovely to know how much he means to you, and he's definitely lucky to have someone who adores him so much. At 7 years old, he's in his prime!
Welcome to the channel, Retha! So exciting to have a new feline friend after so many years! Cats have a very special way of bringing joy into our lives, especially when we least expect it. I'm sure your new kitty is grateful to have found you. Thanks for subscribing and I hope you enjoy all the content we have in store for you! 🐱💖
I have always had animals, love them very much... Took some time to love people as much, but cats are my favorite animal of all especially the Siamese Kitty😊😻😍😽🤗😼🥰❤🤍💙
@aprilhernandez4840 It's so beautiful to read how much love you have for animals! 🥰 Cats have a special way of winning our hearts, and Siamese cats, with their unique and expressive personality, are truly charming. 😻🐾 It's amazing how each cat brings something special to our lives and how they teach us to love in different ways. Thank you for sharing your love for them and being part of this feline-loving community! 🐱💕
I have 2 pure white cats (one female, one male); the male "owns" me, is very talkative, always sharing his demands & his "needs"; he will follow me & vocalize or call to me from where ever he is in the house. Unfortunately, he has a prominent heart murmur (perhaps as a result from a breeder who wanted the bi-coloured eyes he has (?). He was passed from home to home (about 3 homes) before coming to me. His long coat was a matted mess. With excellent Vet care, he was finally diagnosed to have "irritable bowel syndrome" & right now is stable on medication & dedicated care (that would be me). So, although being high-needs, he is so intelligent, loyal, demanding but affectionate (my gorgeous baby!). Thankfully, my female is no problem, is healthy & is a good buddy to the male (not from the same litter).🐾 Thanks for the interesting video. My grandma always had Siamese cats & they were so attached to her, very loyal, smart & great hunters (lived in the country). Their vocalizations were distinct with their human-like "m-e-o-w talk"! 🐾 Love 'em all!
What a touching story about your beautiful white cat! 🐾 How lucky that he found a loving and dedicated home in you; he certainly knows how much you care for him and shows it to you with his loyalty and affectionate 'demands'. It's incredible how our furry friends find their way to the ideal person for them, and his story with you is proof of that 🥰 And how nice to know that he has a good companion in your little cat. Thank you for sharing a little piece of your lives and the memories with your grandmother's cats! Cats have such a special place in our lives and hearts 🐱❤️
Each time a special and wonderful orange tabby visits me, he brings sunshine into my life. Charlie Ginger Tigger, you're the mate! I Love black and tri-colored cats too!
@walterfechter8080 What a lovely comment! Orange cats like Charlie Ginger Tigger really have a special and charming personality, they fill any space with light. ✨ And what about black and tricolor cats! Each fur color has its own magic and character. Thank you for sharing your love for these wonderful feline companions 🐱❤️ I hope you continue to enjoy their company and all the affection they bring to your life!
My cat is a huge gray tabby. His personality is very laid back. He stays close to me, and if I leave the house, he meows constantly when I return. He loves everyone. I had an orange and white female cat named Peaches and she was a ONE-person cat. She would sit on my lap, come every time I called her, and she slept every night in the crook of my arm. She never left me when I was home.
@momrobare Such beautiful memories and such special companions! 🐱✨ Your gray cat sounds like the perfect friend, laid back and always looking out for you. And Peaches, with her “one person cat” loyalty, sure left a deep mark on your life. It’s amazing how each cat has such a unique personality, especially when we see those contrasts between colors and temperaments. Thank you for sharing these very personal stories; it really reflects the bond we can have with our felines. 😻❤️
I have a black cat (she watched this entire video with me 😊) 18 years old….and I have a tabby that’s outside on yard patrol right now 😂 I love them both so much! Great video ❤
How sweet that your little black cat watched the video with you! At 18 years old, she sure is a wise guy! And I love imagining your tabby on a 'patrol mission' in the garden - each one has their own well-defined role! 🐾 It's wonderful to see how they fill us with love and unforgettable moments. Thank you for sharing a little piece of their lives and for your kind words about the video. furries from me ❤️🐱
@Aquarian1 Orange cats tend to have that special charm! 😸 They tend to be friendly, independent, and have a unique personality that everyone falls in love with. I'm glad to hear you have such a cool, laid-back companion. Thanks for sharing a little about your kitty, he sounds like a real character!
Hi @lucindarollings3913, your feline family sounds amazing! 🐾 Black cats, gray cats, Bengal cats, and tuxedo cats - what a lovely variety! Each must bring unique personality traits to your home. It's clear that they are well-loved. ❤️ Do you notice any fun quirks or differences in their personalities? It's always fascinating how their fur colors can sometimes reflect their behavior. Thanks for sharing your love for your kitties! 😊🐱
Hi @tracybarrack! Thank you so much for your kind words. It's wonderful to know that the descriptions matched your experience! 😺 Having cats of all colors must have been an amazing experience, each with their own unique personality and charm. Cats truly are endlessly fascinating, aren't they? 🐾❤️
❤ I Have A Black Cat He Will Be Loving And Then He Bites I Love Orange Cats They Are Very Smart I Have Had Orange Cats Before I Have A White Cat Who Is Sweet I Have Had 2 Calicos And You Are Right About Them I Love Them All
You have a wonderful and diverse feline family! 🐾 Each one with their own special personality: your affectionate black kitten with his mischievous touch, the charm and intelligence of the orange ones, and the sweetness of your white cat. And yes, calicos have that unmatched spark! How lucky they are to have someone who appreciates them so much and understands their particularities. Thank you for sharing the love for your furry friends, they are sure to fill your life with precious moments! 🥰🐱
Tabby. He likes to spend most of his time outside in the summer, but he likes the electric blanket in the winter. He is very affectionate and will lay in my arms for hours. He was a stray who wandered into my home and adopted me and my dog.
Hi @pamelalipscomb8332! 😊 Your tabby cat sounds like a sweetheart! It's amazing how cats choose us, just like your guy did. 🐾❤ He seems to have the perfect balance - enjoying the freedom of the outdoors in the summer and the cozy warmth of an electric blanket in the winter. How lucky he is to have found such a loving home with you and your dog! Thank you for sharing his story - it's truly heartwarming. 😻
@mikeeaton9822 How interesting the difference in personalities between your tuxedos! Sometimes even similarly colored cats can be completely opposite in their behavior. If the aggressive one is still with you, you might try positive reinforcement techniques or games that channel his energy in a positive way. Every cat is unique and they always surprise us!
My orange guy adopted me and half the neighborhood so far. He's in everyones apts.in my building and everyone says he is sooo friendly and talkative. But he comes home to me every day.❤
Your orange boy seems like a real neighborhood star, Bubba! 🐾 Orange tabby cats are known for their friendly and outgoing nature, and it's clear that he's spreading joy wherever he goes. But the fact that he always comes home to you just shows how special your bond is. ❤ Thank you for sharing this wonderful story!
I'm so glad you identified with the description! 🐾✨ Calico cats have such a unique and special personality, it's impossible not to fall in love with them! I'm sure your kitty is a character full of charm. Thanks for sharing!
I have a black domestic shorthair with white markings and he has a deep rumbling purr like a diesel engine. His name is Diesel, and he is great company. I don't know what I'd do without him. I feel sorry for people who don't have a cat for a companion; They don't know what they're missing. They are a blessing from God. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing about Diesel, Susan! A black and white kitty with a purr like a diesel engine sounds like the perfect name. How adorable! It's amazing how cats like Diesel bring so much joy and companionship to our lives. I completely agree; people who haven't experienced life with a cat are truly missing out on one of life's sweetest blessings. Cats are true gifts, filling our lives with love and comfort. Scratch Diesel behind the ears for me! ❤🐾
As a child our first cat was all black, she was one of the sweetest most patient cats I have known. Next was a tabby, she was by far the smartest, she was affectionate and protective, and definitely an explorer. I fell in love with tabbies and rescued another as a kitten, also very smart, very affectionate and he lived to be 21 yrs old. I have a tabby again, she is a little over a year old now and is very curious, an explorer and very brave, she is also sweet and very affectionate. I am always mystified why there are people who hate cats, I am also a dog person, cats and dogs are very different, but I love them both, what wonderful creatures, such a blessing!
Hi, Esperanza! What a beautiful journey you've had with your cats, from that sweet little black cat to your beloved tabbies. 😻 It's wonderful how each one has its own unique personality and, as you say, tabbies are such a charm with their intelligence and adventurous spirit! I also share your surprise about those who don't appreciate cats; they have such a special way of being that it's impossible not to love them. It's a gift to be able to enjoy the company of these incredible beings, and how nice that you also have love for dogs! Thank you for sharing your story and for being so loving with your pets. 🐾💕
I have had many cats throughout my life and have had more than one of each of these groups and I can honestly say that this video is 90% correct. There are exceptions of course and one of the cats I have now is such. Luna is a beautiful solid powder grey with green eyes, however she is anything but calm and quiet. She meows at me loudly and urgently non-stop every time I pass by. In spite of me trying to calm her, reassure her, pet her ( which she is very skiddish about) pick her up ( which she will NOT allow) and making sure she has fresh food, water, litter etc., this activity continues every day and only stops if she is sleeping. She is chubby and healthy and doesn't suffer from any ailments. I think I gave her the right name because she is just plain crazy. 😄
@ladywisewolf3942 How interesting is Luna! Sometimes gray cats surprise us with totally unique and out of the ordinary personalities, as if they break the mold. It sounds like Luna has a great character and lots of things to "tell" you during the day. 😹 Although she is not the typical calm kitty, it seems that she has a special connection with you and a unique way of expressing herself. I'm glad you share her story! Thank you for introducing us to Luna, the "crazy" and adorable kitty. 🐾
Our Sasha is a Russian Blue mix (she was a stray) when she came into our apartment in October of last year. She is a total sweetheart. But not a cuddle or lap cat. But she does lay near us somewhere close. She does give kisses and eye blinks a lot if we ask for them. She loves to play with some of her toys. Especially her "String toy" which is a feather toy with a long cloth instead. That's both of our favorite one. We usually play with it together in the kitchen while I'm waiting for my food in the microwave. When it's done playtime with it is done. I just tell her "all done" and have her watch me put away. She talks a lot with words she can say... Yeah, no, hey. And regular meows.
@jackyfriedman1963 What a lovely story! Sasha sounds like a very special kitty, with a lovely personality. Russian Blue cats are known for being calm and affectionate, and it sounds like Sasha found a perfect home in you! 🐱💙 It’s adorable how you two have that play routine with your string toy in the kitchen, those moments must be so fun and special! Plus, she sounds like a very expressive cat, I’d love to hear her “yes”, “no” and “hey”! 😄 Thanks for sharing a little piece of your life with us. Hugs to you and Sasha! 🐾✨
@@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy I'll try to get videos of her saying those. I did a community post of her laying on the floor in front of my daughters bathroom. There's 3 pictures there. I just cropped it a couple times. My daughter said she does that every time.
My red boy with red eyes has been my constant companion since my husband died just over a year ago. Love his zoomies and playing fetch and batting his toys back and forth. He is friendly with all family and visitors.
Hi @amandareiche9083! Your ginger pup sounds like such an amazing companion, bringing joy and energy to your life when you need it most. 🐾❤️ His quick movements and playful nature must light up the room, and it's wonderful to hear how friendly and loving he is with everyone. Cats have such a special way of comforting us in difficult times, and it's clear he's been a true blessing to you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story! 😺✨
Thank you, Diane! 🐾 How lovely to know that you have such a sweet grey kitty! Grey cats are often known for their calm and sweet nature, and it seems like your companion reflects those qualities! Do you have any funny or cute stories about her? We'd love to hear more 😊🐱
I have a pure jet black rescue cat and she is just the sweetest thing ever. I hate that black cats have such a bad reputation. Black cats matter! Adopt one!
How lovely to hear that your little black cat is so sweet! 🐾❤️ It's such a shame that black cats get such an unfair reputation when, in reality, they're all about love and loyalty! You're absolutely right - black cats matter, and they deserve just as much love as anyone else. Thanks for sharing this important message, and hugs to your adorable companion!
Hi @elainesoltis5276! Thank you so much for your support. It sounds like having Daisy in your life is an absolute joy! 😺 It's amazing how our furry friends can brighten our day with their unique personalities and fun antics. Please give Daisy some extra love from all of us. She sounds like a wonderful companion! 🐾❤️
My perfect fluffy black and gray tabby...lives up to her ancestors. You should see her trying to attack the flies. But when she rolls over on her back, she is totally beige with a perfect black stripe down the middle and rib-like stripes. Almost like two cats in one. Oh, and she has the perfect "M". Proud mama, you think? My comfort animal.
Your cat sounds like a true feline work of art! 😻 It's amazing how some tabbies seem to have such a unique design, like they're two cats in one! That 'M' on her forehead and her hunting skills are proof that she proudly carries on the heritage of her ancestors. How lucky you are to share your life with such a special animal full of personality. Thanks for sharing about her, and yes, the mama pride is totally justified!
I have one black cat, Jett. Two Tuxedo cats, Tobias DeAngelo, and Tesla. And 2 tabby cats, Timmie and Jedi, love those stripes! All rescues! All special boys. All loved very much❣️ 😼😽😺😸😻
Sleepybluebear, what a beautiful feline family you have! Jett, Tobias DeAngelo, Tesla, Timmie, and Jedi not only have amazing names, but they sound like very special and loving boys. 🐾❤️ It's wonderful that they are all rescues; I'm sure they feel how lucky they are to have you too. Hugs to everyone!
I had a white cat for many years who was extremely neurotic. She would hide behind the piano or in a cabinet when there was a thunderstorm. Yet she was aggressively affectionate. My house panther (short haired black male) is also aggressively affectionate, but can't be trusted around other cats as he will attack them. So he lives in a bedroom with the door shut, unless I decide to switch their territories. My tortie, on the other hand, is a sensible and solitary cat who would love that bedroom to be her exclusive territory.
@kaakrepwhatever, it sounds like you have quite the variety of personalities under one roof! Each of your cats seems to embody very distinct traits. Your “house panther” definitely sounds like a character with lots of energy and affection, while your white cat’s sensitivity to storms and intense affection must have made her very unique. And your tortoise, as you describe, seems to have that classic independent streak. Balancing their territories seems like a challenge, but it’s clear you know each one well and respect their personalities. Thanks for sharing these little snapshots into their lives! They seem to be a fascinating trio! 😊🐾
It's hard to pick a favorite when they're all so unique and adorable, isn't it, Diana? 🐱💖 Each one has its own personality and charm. Thanks for watching the video and sharing the love for these wonderful felines
Hi @jaboubaa928! Black cats with yellow eyes are absolutely stunning, they have a magical and mysterious charm! ❤ It's clear that you love her very much and I'm sure she brings a lot of joy to your life. Thank you for sharing about your beautiful kitty! 🐾💕
We (my husband and I) have two cats. A yellow cat and a tabby. They are exactly as you described them! Our yellow cat is very regal when she sits and loves to be the center of attention. In fact, when she hears us sweet talking our grandchildren, she comes running wanting to get in on that. Our tabby, she is always wanting to explore and get into something. They are fun and bring us lots of enjoyment. I enjoyed your video very much. Learned something also. Thanks! ❤️💜💚
What a beautiful description of your cats! 🐾✨ It's amazing how each one has its own unique personality: the majestic style of your yellow cat and the boundless curiosity of your tabby make them a wonderful duo. I'm so glad to know that you enjoyed the video and that you found it interesting. Thank you for sharing a little of your life with us ❤️
So good to know that the description fits your beloved tabby! 😊 Brown tabbies have such a captivating personality that it's hard not to fall in love with them. 🐾❤️ Thank you for confirming that we are correct; each tabby seems to have that unique touch that makes it unmatched
I have one orange female, one tabby with green eyes, and one long hair tabby. All females. They are all spoiled and loving. It's the best emotional support system you could have.❤❤❤❤❤❤
@susanleidy3673 Sounds like a home full of love and fur! 😻 Your girls must be amazing company, each with their own unique personalities. There's no doubt that cats are the best emotional support system; they know exactly how to make us feel better 🐾❤ Thank you for sharing your love for them, it's beautiful to see how many you care for!
I watched your video because I wanted to see the personality of the Tabby cat. I have a boy Tabby cat that I found in the road in the rain as a tiny kitten. I don't know if he got lost or was abandoned as there were no houses around. He was a feisty spitter at first and hyper as all get out!! We named him Taz after the Tasmanian Devil. He's a great hunter, (no mice at all around or in the house), and has a meow that sounds like he's been smoking four packs of cigarettes a day. I believe he's from ancient cats because he is so inquisitive. He also isn't very cuddly or loving, but he's mine and I still love him.
Hey @msb358! What an amazing story. Taz seems like a character with a big personality! 😺 Tabby cats are known for their intelligence and curiosity, and he seems to embody those traits perfectly. His 'smoky meow' and energetic beginnings make him even more unique! It's incredible how you rescued him during such a vulnerable time in his life and gave him a loving home. Even if he's not the cuddliest, the bond you two share is so special. Thank you for sharing Taz's story. It's a reminder of how every cat, no matter their quirks, can bring so much joy and meaning to our lives. 🐾❤️
Tortie - always wanting to play, high energy, does everything to get my attention, follows me everywhere as must know what I'm doing and see if it is exciting, talkative, happy, super intelligent, able to understand words.
What a perfect description of a tortie, Jupitergirl! 😻 It's amazing how curious and energetic they can be, always wanting to be in the center of the action. Their intelligence and expressive personality make them unique, and it sounds like you have a great companion by your side! Thanks for sharing about your beloved tortie and for watching the video 🐾💖
We had a black cat come visit from a local farm on Thanksgiving, then returned on SuperB Sunday. This time, when I opened the door, she came in and never left. She was a great cat who liked to go on walks with us. RIP Spooky.
What a special story, and what a unique way to enter your lives. 🖤 Spooky seemed like such a wonderful cat, full of character, even going on walks with you! Those shared moments will surely remain as beautiful memories. Thank you for sharing this beautiful story with us. May she rest in peace, Spooky 🙏🏼🐾
It was interesting to hear that tabby cats are highly curious and adventurous. We named our tabby Snoopy because he was always was always investigating things, like visitors’ purses.
@susanwestfall2051 What a perfect name for a curious tabby! Tabby cats really have that spark of explorers, and Snoopy sounds like a born investigator. I'm sure your visitors will be entertained by his curious spirit. Thanks for sharing a bit of Snoopy's personality with us, it's lovely to hear these stories! 🐾💕
There's something really special about orange cats, isn't there? 🐾🐈✨ I'm glad you loved the description. They're pure charisma and mischief in one adorable package! 🧡
I have a female grey/black tabby she’s loving and kind, she’s really laid back and chill. She’s also really protective of our family. I also have a little orange/white tabby ragamuffin male. He’s very playful and curious about everything and everybody 😂 he’s very social and loving. And he’s surprisingly very good at hunting things.
What a beautiful pair of kitties you have, Sheba! 🐱 Your grey/black tabby sounds like a perfect companion, full of love and always looking out for the family. 🖤 And your little orange and white ragamuffin seems quite the adventurer, his curiosity and hunting skills must make every day interesting! 😄 It's amazing how each one has their own distinct personality. Thanks for sharing a little about them with us.
Thanks, SJD207! 🐱 I'm so glad you found the video informative and interesting. Cats have a special way of winning our hearts, don't they? ❤ Feel free to share your favorite cat fun fact!
I live in a condo complex that has a few strays and ferals. 2 ferals that came from the same mother have a close bond with each other. The older of the two is a female tabby with beautiful shades of gray and rusty brown, amazingly bold black stripes, and cute white paws. She has a history of acting like the leader and fends off unwanted cats, especially those that aren't fixed, along with raccoons and opossums. She also seems to be more alert than her mate and 2 fixed strays that she and her mate get along with. One of those 2 strays is a tuxedo with dark gray instead of black. She's the most social and curious of the 4, causing the 2 ferals to sometimes swipe at her.
@michaelsimko7694 What an interesting story about the cats in your complex! That gray and brown tabby seems like a true leader, guarding her territory with determination and style. It sounds like she's really serious about protecting her little group, even taking on raccoons and possums! The dynamic between them and the curious tuxedo is fascinating too; each brings their own personality to the group. Thanks for sharing these details, it's a beautiful display of how cats create their own bonds and hierarchies.
@@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy The newest stray is an unfixed tuxedo that is about 80% charcoal gray. The interesting thing about her is she's the only cat the feral tabby can't tell off, as if the tuxedo is giving the tabby signals of warnings. The tuxedo hisses and attacks the other cats if they get close. She seems to be a specific breed based on her being a dominant solitary cat. A raccoon even walked by right next to her on my rear deck and she didn't mind.
We live with 2 cats. One is a traditional calico, very talkative, she makes sure we know if the water dishes need refreshing or the food dish wants attention or if she needs me to sit down and cuddle her. The other is a dilute calico who rarely makes a sound, but knows how to take advantage of the other’s demands. The traditional calico decided tat she was, essentially, my cat, but if my daughter comes into the room she meows until my daughter stops whatever she’s doing and pets her. The dilute calico decided that she was my daughter’s cat. While that kitty likes me and accepts pets and attention from me it’s it’s not exactly the same the same thing. It doesn’t hurt my feelings at all, because I can see her absolute devotion to my daughter and that’s good enough for me.
What a beautiful bond you have with your calicos! 🐾❤️ It’s amazing how each one has their own personality and preferences, creating such deep and unique bonds with you. Your traditional calico sounds like quite the leader of the house, making sure all of her ‘humans’ are looking out for her needs. And the connection your daughter has with the diluted calico is just precious; cats know exactly how to pick their special people, don’t they? Our furbabies express that love and loyalty in such a special way 🥰 Thanks for sharing this sweet story, I’d love to hear more about your antics!
When I was a teenager, an orange tomcat who lived 2 doors down would come to visit our family almost every night. He enthusiastically took pets. Found out that the nights he didn't come to visit us, he visited an old couple who lived on the other side of our house. In my 30's we had Morris orange cat who regularly visited everyone on our street, meowing outside our doors or there to meet us when we drove after work, sometimes bringing us mice!
Hi @billolsen4360. Such beautiful memories you have with those orange cats! 🍊🐾 It's amazing how cats like that tomcat and Morris have such charismatic and social personalities. They seem to have been true ambassadors for the neighborhood. Even bringing special gifts like mice! Thank you for sharing this endearing story, it really reflects how special cats are in our lives. ❤️🐈
Such accurate observations! It's fascinating how each coat color and pattern seems to come with its own set of characteristics. Orange cats and Siamese cats, for example, are really known for being so expressive and affectionate. Thanks for sharing! Your experiences with each type, I'm sure other cat lovers can relate 🐱✨
I love kitties, two kitties lived with us. They died the grey kitty was 19 years. The second was a super talker, she died at 20 years old. I grieved for over two years, since they died not to much time apart. 😽😽😸😺😽🙀
I had an orange fur baby for 19yrs growing up. We got him when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade & he lived until my 2nd year of marriage. I always joke that I couldn't have married my hubby if my Tigger hadn't given him the seal of approval lol. He was very much MY CAT. He was practically like a dog in some ways, including almost always coming when I called his name. He got me thru some of the worst years of my life & even chose to be in bed next to me when he passed overnight as we slept rather than finding a place to hide away like most cats do when they pass. Overall, he DEFINITELY an orange cat personality.
@donnasilvio3974 What a beautiful story, Donna! ❤️ Tigger was certainly an amazing and loyal companion, with such a unique personality. It's heartwarming to know that he chose to be by your side until the very last moment, showing the strong bond you two shared. Orange cats have that special something, and Tigger seems to have had that feline charm in a big way! Thank you for sharing this very intimate story; I'm sure many of us feel that deep love for our furry friends. 🧡🐾
@@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy Thank you. He really was amazing & I know our relationship was, too. I feel very lucky. I do love sharing about Tigger in places that appreciate & understand, witout making fun. I have alotta chronic medical problems & he was w me in the earliest, worse years as they progressed & were slowly diagnosed. Tigger adjusted to my medical problems. He would usually stretch out on top of my belly & down my legs. My issues caused severe pain in my abdomen. I had him for 16yrs when it started, yet he suddenly changed how he would lay w me when my pains 1st started. He would lie alongside me instead, w his head & paws over my arm, like holding a teddy bear. He purred even more when he was against my belly. I know purring is said to be a way cats heal, so I 100% believe he was trying to make me feel better. About 2mos after Tigger passed in 2009, my Mom adopted 1 of the kittens my neighbor's cat had. The kitten is named "Greggio". My neighbor worked weird hours so I helped raise the kittens. They were born just 5 months before my Tigger passed. I continued to help raise him when she adopted him. I spend alotta time at my Mom's bc of my medical problems & snuggle Greggio a lot. He's very much "MY cat" whenever I'm over there. My Mom also got a 2nd cat 3yrs later which is always more my Mom's cat. When I have my surgeries, I recuperate at my Mom's house, with Greggio. Greggio is a velvety blue gray kitty & is like my shadow, especially after my MANY abdominal surgeries. He will lie next to me, alongside my belly, & purr like crazy there. Normally, he'll sleep between or behind my legs, except when I have surgery. He will ONLY sleep right beside me. I think he purrs to try to heal me, just like Tigger did. Another sidenote: It felt like Tigger held onto life until I got fully diagnosed & started treatments. It took docs 2yrs, & my literally almost dying in the ER, to finally fully diagnose all my medical issues. He passed just months after it happened.
My cat is a "blue tux": her pattern is tuxedo, but the black part is gray. Her personality is 100% that of a tuxedo cat! I also had an all gray cat, and her personality was definitely calm and affectionate just like the video says. 💯 My boy was white with a black patch, and one blue eye and one green eye. He was aggressive and neurotic, but also a lap cat. He was not deaf. Great video, I think a lot of it is accurate.
Thanks Marie! How interesting about your "blue tux" and how he so closely resembles the classic tuxedo personality. 😻 It's amazing to see how coat color and patterns can influence behavior - though there are always surprises, like your boy with the black patch and different colored eyes! Thanks for sharing your kitties' unique personalities - I'm glad to hear the video matches your experiences!
I also have a blue tuxedo male cat. He has the white in the exact same places as my two black and white tuxedo males. Very outgoing personality too, just like the black and white tuxies. ❤
Our Rescue feral female bobtail is muted light grey with white & cream patches with faint taby strips; she moved in the first day of fall after hanging around our place; she had been hunting lizards since early Spring . She was maybe 7 months old with a tipped ear indicating she had been captured & spayed. The capture was obviously very traumatic for her but she did check out our open door home and I started feeding her along with putting an off the ground pet bed under our porch for her. The first year and a half she lived under the furniture & would play with toys. She would not let us touch her except with our feet to give her a rub. Then along comes another 7 month old tabby the next year, which she growled at. He obviously had been around people & may have been dropped off like so many are in our mountain community. This new kitty inspired the bobtail to risk getting in my lap ... she had observed us holding and stroking him. This tabby has a wild look with very strong striping & is curious about anything. Now he's big with a long hard body even though neutered. These days the bobtail sticks with me and the tabby with the guys. (This New Mexican mountain community is known for not spaying or neutering so I can really see that the tabby is of an original domesticated type. ) The tabby, Toby & Noomi, the bobtail, have settled in together but do avoid each other; Noomi won't play rough.
What a beautiful story full of patience and love! 🐾 Noomi and Toby have found a perfect home with you, where each has been able to adapt in their own way and pace. It's wonderful to see how Toby helped Noomi trust you more and dare to receive affection. It's also fascinating how you both have your own personalities and preferences, and how you feel comfortable in your mountain community, each finding your place. Thank you for sharing something so special and for giving them a home full of care and understanding. Toby, they are very lucky to have you 🐱✨
Well! I guess That is what provoked me to tell my tabby kitten that he was gonna have to rein in that devil in him when he’s inside! But he’s SO Funny! Also, your story about the Calico’s (tricolor) cats, made me think back to when I was a little girl. We had one that wasn’t just tricolor, but had one green eye and one blue! It really hurt my feelings when Mom let my uncle have it!
Hi @sherryblanton2029! Your tabby kitty seems to have a great character. Those moments of mischief can be so entertaining! 😺 And wow, a tri-colored cat with one green eye and one blue eye must have been absolutely stunning. It's understandable that you would feel attached to such a unique and beautiful companion. Cats often leave lasting impressions on us, especially the ones we grow up with. Thank you for sharing such a sweet memory. It's amazing how they stay in our hearts forever. 🐾❤️
Right now, I have one gray cat w/a "dirty patch" on his nose. It's just a little black spot on his nose, LOL I also have a black cat who tends to be more dominant. I adopted the black cat from the wild. We used to keep the cat food out during the day when we kept the cats outside. "Panther" came and stole some food and then proceeded to make himself quite at home on a pillow on an old chest of drawers we have in the garage. I determined if he was going to make himself at home, he'll get adopted. I walked very slowly towards him holding my hand out. When I got to him, I let him smell my hand. He could smell the other cats on me and decided to let me rub the side of his face and scratch his ears. He is very, very affectionate although he did try to show dominance over me once. I just took hold of his scruff and explained in a gentle, but firm voice that I was the boss, LOL He's never tried that again and has become even more affectionate. I used to have an orange tabby that I named Spicey. I rescued her as a little2 1/2 - 3 week old kitten that I fed raw milk to thru a glass eyedropper. She lived to be 18!
@christiansaint716 Such amazing stories, Christian! 🐾 Each of your cats has a unique personality and you seem to have created a loving and caring home for them. “Panther” seems like a real character, and it’s admirable how you manage to gain his trust and establish such a special bond. 🖤 Your experience with Spicey is also heartwarming; rescuing her from such a young age and caring for her until she was 18 shows your dedication and love for animals. Thank you for sharing these beautiful stories, they are a true inspiration for all cat lovers! 😻✨
@elizabethskeen9373 Your cat sounds adorable and very special! 😻 Spotted kitties often have a lovely mix of personality and mischief, and he seems to demonstrate that perfectly! He sounds like a companion full of love and surprises. That bit about him dribbling is just too cute! Thanks for sharing about him, it's a pleasure to hear such lovely stories!
I also have a flame-point cat, with unusual markings. He was born pure white in color and stayed that way for many months. I decided to name him Divinity because he resembled the all white pure candy that my mother used to make us for Christmas every year: Divinity. I call him Divi, for short. He is quite outgoing, loves human interaction, is very playful and curious. Now his fur is mainly white, especially on his undersides (tummy and legs), but his fur on his back has large splotches of orange in random shapes, very unusual looking! His tail is actually lightly striped as well. He's an usual but very happy, playful and loving cat...and he keeps me smiling every day!
Hi mamazalama! 😊 What a beautiful and unique story about Divinity, I love her name and the special meaning behind it! She sounds like a truly exceptional kitty with a very unique appearance. It's amazing how those colors and markings pop out in such a special way. 🧡 Plus, it seems like her cheerful and playful personality brightens up your days. Thank you for sharing a little of the joy Divi brings to your life. You definitely have a wonderful and charming companion!
We have a "dirty blonde" cat: golden/ tan fur, with gray fur mixed in on the feet, tail and muzzle. Tan/ blonde/ buff cats are in the orange family; just like gray cats, they have the "dilute" gene. Since most orange cats are boys, we assumed that this little kitten, found by our friend's mother on her farmhouse doorstep, was a boy. Were we surprised when the vet told us, "this cat is definitely a female!" We suspect that her father was orange, (hence her tan color)and that her mother may have been Siamese, which would account for our Baby Girl's gray extremities. It would also account for her vocal nature. She's friendly and outgoing like an orange cat, but she's also more emotionally delicate and nuanced. She's been a great treasure for us.🐈
@tedthetowerdoucette1933 What a wonderful story about your "Baby Girl"! 😻 She sounds like a kitty with a fascinating mix of traits, both in her coat and personality. The combination of colors and features really makes her unique, and it's amazing how genes can create such special combinations. Dilute cats and those with Siamese heritage often have such vocal and expressive personalities! Thank you for sharing this beautiful account with us. It's a real pleasure to hear about treasures like her in the lives of our followers. 🐱❤️
I have a muted/dilute calico. She was found outside as a runt at 4 weeks and still strong at 19 years old. I love her dearly. Definitely has a strong personality even with her age wanting to watch shower water feom the tub, even demanding to get vacuumed as a "spa treatment". She absolutely takes on the grey personality. Spending hours curled up with me. And the fur part, so true. She has dense and such fine, silky fur. The feel of that and her purring even help my headaches.
Wow, what an amazing story! 🐾 Nineteen years is a testament to the love and care you've given her. Dilute calico cats are truly special and she seems to have a very vibrant personality, demanding spa treatments and all! 😄 Her silky fur and soothing purrs that are your headache remedy just show how deeply connected the two of you are. Thank you for sharing such a comforting bond with your amazing kitty! 😺❤️
My newest cat is black a female who is very affectionate and divides her time between terrorizing the mice in my home and enjoying my attention letting me pet her and and staying close to me. Molly has a joy in living and keeping track of me.
Hi! Thanks for sharing about Molly, she seems to have an incredibly charming personality. 😻 It's great that she is so affectionate with you and at the same time such a fierce hunter with the mice! I'm glad to hear that the video resonated with you and that you see that mix of affection and energy in Molly. Give her a warm greeting from us and thanks for watching the video.
I've had 2 black cats and each was far from reserved. Both were absolute hysterical goof balls. One swam and the other had been reincarnated from an opera singer. He loved to sing.
Your cats sound like unforgettable characters! 🐾😂 It's amazing how black cats can break so many stereotypes. One a swimmer and one an opera singer, it's like having two celebrities in your home! 🎶😹 I'm so glad they brought so much humor and unique moments to your life. Thanks for sharing such funny stories, it brought a big smile to my face.
I’ve always had orange boys and they were amazing. The latest one is afraid of everyone, and keeps his distance even from me. I don’t know what happened but hes been like this since I went to get him at 6 months old. I couldn’t leave but seemed I was making a mistake but I couldn’t leave him. He’s an ok cat but absolutely grumpy. Timid but alpha at the same time.
@hollywood5703 I totally understand the situation; some cats need a little more time and patience to feel completely safe. Here are some tips that might help your grumpy kitty feel more comfortable with you: Give him his space: Shy cats like to have their own safe place. You can create a haven for him in a quiet area of the house where he can relax without being disturbed. Use positive reinforcement: Every time he approaches you or allows a little interaction, reward him with a treat or soft words. This will make him associate contact with you with positive experiences. Gentle play: Try playing with him using feather wands or toys from a distance, which will allow him to interact without feeling invaded. As you gain confidence, you can slowly get closer. Pheromones for relaxation: Pheromone diffusers like Feliway can help reduce stress and make him feel more relaxed in his environment. Consistent routine: Cats enjoy routine. Try to feed and play with him at the same time every day; this will give him security and help him trust you more. With patience and love, he can slowly open up more. I hope these tips help you build his confidence and improve his behavior! 🧡🐾
I have 1 Btitsch longhair white and red mostly red. He is a lovely cat whom is lickly to sleep plays for 15min and thats it he is 8 years old and i love him to bits. Also do i have a Britsch shorthair he us brown and since i came home from 3.5wks hospital he follows ne evrywhere. the are such a blessing to me love him as much as i do the first one, they came 2 days after each other and are brothers really❤
Hi @annekehooreman1730 Your cats seem absolutely wonderful. What a blessing to have two such loving companions. 🐾❤️ Your British Longhair with his laid back nature and playtime must be a joy, and it's so comforting to hear that your British Shorthair has been by your side since you came home from the hospital. Cats really have a way of knowing when we need them most. Thank you for sharing your story. It's a beautiful reminder of how much love and comfort our feline friends bring to our lives. 😺✨
@The1ByTheSea I totally agree! Orange tabby cats, especially males, tend to have a sweetness and sociability that is hard to beat. 🧡 And it's true, both tabbies and torties have a unique way of showing affection, each in their own style! Black cats are also charming, always breaking myths with their cuteness. Thank you for sharing your experiences with these wonderful felines. A true treasure.
I have 2 black cats. I've called them my little mini Panthers since they were 10 weeks old. Gorgeous loving little men. Not as independent as this guy makes them to be. They love their mom and don't like to be separated. I always have to promise to bring them back a treat if I leave the property or they start howling as soon as I'm out the door. One is protective, but only trusts me. Anyone comes by for a visit, he hides until they're gone and he waits a good hour or two after company leaves to come out. His twin is the opposite. He loves everybody, but won't let anyone take him away.
Makayla, your mini Panthers sound absolutely adorable! It's amazing how even twins can have such different personalities - one is a loyal protector and the other a social butterfly. 😺 They clearly adore you and the bond you share with them is so special. Their howls when you leave show how much you mean to them. ❤🐈⬛ They are lucky to have a mom who understands them so well!
@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy they're amazing little guys. They just turned 6 last month, and it hit me how quick those 6 years flew by. Kills me already there's only 10 years left, give or take. They used to fight over who was going to be allowed to curl up with me at night 🤣 It's just been the last few months the timid one has been letting the other in the room to share the bed.
My cat is a gray colored cat. She has very soft, thick fur. She is loyal to me only. She prefers when we are alone together or just being in a quiet spot.
Your gray cat seems to have a very special and unique personality! 💙 That loyalty and preference for quiet moments together shows the deep bond you share. Gray cats are usually like that, very affectionate and attached to their favorite people. 🐱✨ Thank you for sharing her personality with us!
@NanetteG.-ii4xy So amazing to have so many kitties with different colors and personalities! 🐾 Orange cats tend to be very affectionate and outgoing, while gray cats have that combination of curiosity and serenity that makes them unique. 🐱 I'm glad you found the video interesting, and I totally agree with keeping them indoors only! It's the best way to care for them and keep them safe. 😊❤️ Cheers to all your kitties!
@silkebelano8388 you have an incredibly diverse feline family! 🐾 Each of them surely brings something special to the table with their unique personality. It's a privilege to share life with so many wonderful little furballs. 🖤🤍🐅🐾 Thank you for sharing about your feline companions!
😂sadly I had to move.. and couldn't take my red tabby. But he attached himself to the nice neighbor lady. They're both happy. So am i.😅I. I still have my black and white cat.
I had a tuxedo kitty long ago, he was so friendly and inquisitive. I would sort of dance around in the kitchen and he would puff up his fur like he was in a fight, then get up on his back legs and clap his paws together. I've never had a cat like him since. Then I got 2 tabbies, one after another, both inquisitive pranksters. Very goofy cats. My second one likes messing around with water and makes a mess when he plays with it - I have to be careful not to leave containers of it around. :-) Also he absolutely has to make biscuits and hump his blankie when I sit in my chair. If I get up before he finishes, he gives me a heart broken look and stops. He's a little odd sometimes.
Such lovely stories! 🐾❤️ Your tuxedo must have been quite a sight in the kitchen, with that mix of bravery and fun, I can just imagine him 'clapping' with those little paws! 😹 And your tabbies sound like real characters, especially the second one with his love for water and his 'knead and snuggle' routine on his blanket. How sweet to imagine him waiting patiently for you to sit down for his special moment! Each one of them has left unique marks on your life, thank you for sharing these lovely moments! 🥰
I had to put down my 21-year-old fur baby (renal failure) I miss her, especially during stressful times in my life. She was wonderful we may get another fur child in the future I don't like not having a cat around they bring joy and comfort.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Gail. 21 years is a lifetime full of love and memories that will always be with you. It's hard not to miss those companions who bring us so much comfort, especially in the most difficult times. I'm sure that, when the time is right, another 'fur child' will fill your home with joy and love once again. Thank you for sharing a little of your story with us 🐾❤️
Hi @jmromero6381! 😄 An Abyssinian with the energy of David Lee Roth! He's hilarious and awesome! 🎸🐾 And your Ragdoll seems like the perfect counterbalance: calm, tender, and very sweet. They have quite the dynamic duo! Thanks for sharing, your description made my day!
My other cat is a tabby i call her my Sargent in arms! She always looks like she is in charge of my protection. I would of not off made it this far without all my animals but my cats are definitely spirit cats!
Kristin, your tabby cat sounds like a true guardian and protector! 🐾❤ Cats really have a way of being there for us, both physically and spiritually. It's amazing how they can bring so much strength and comfort to our lives, especially during difficult times. Your "spirit cats" are clearly an incredible source of love and support for you.
All our cats over the years-8 in total-have been wonderful, loving little persons. I’ve learned a lot from them. The three we have now are respectively 10, 15, and 23. One neutered male Tonkinese, one black long-hair, and one calico. All very different, all loving and adorable. Wouldn’t want to keep house without cats!❤️🐈⬛🥰🐈🌟
Wow Margo, it sounds like you've had an amazing journey with your feline family! 🐾❤ Having three cats of such different ages and personalities must bring a lot of joy and wisdom to your home. A 23-year-old cat? That's truly extraordinary and a testament to the love and care you've given them! 🥰 Do they all get along or do they each have their own favorite spot in the house? 😺🐾
@ Well, the youngest, Tamino, is the only cat we have ever owned from a kitten-we got him at 12 weeks old. I had worried that our older felines would impose on him, but he just arrived, declared he was in charge, and so it was. He is very attached to my husband, and actually prefers to spend most of his time in the master suite or my husband’s office (upstairs). We had to feed him separately from day 1, because he would steal the girls’ food. The 15-year old black longhair, Princess, is very dominant and demanding. She is my velcro cat. I feed her on the stairs. She was a rescue. LeeLee, the calico, was a stray and not well socialized, but she always comes to lie on my chest for 10-15 minutes or so at night or any time I lie down. She is not outgoing, so I put her food behind a chair. Not long ago, she had a tumor removed from her mouth, but a new one formed back of her jaw, so our vet is treating it with some form of steroids to shrink it. She still eats well and is pretty active for such an elderly cat. I am terribly attached to her. Fortunately we have a wise, experienced, and compassionate vet. He thinks she is not in pain, so we take it one day at a time. If the steroids are going to help, it should be obvious in 2-3 weeks. Pray for her wellness, if anyone is a praying person. We have no children, so our fur babies are one of the greatest joys in our lives❤️
Just by sheer luck I have ended up caring for three Calico cats in my life and all of them lived to a good age - 21, 19 and 18, outliving both my boy cats - 17 and 14.
@kernow9324 What an amazing story with your Calico! 🐾😻 It's impressive how these cats can live so many years and be so resilient. It seems like you have a special connection with them! Each Calico has that mix of colors and unique personality that makes them unforgettable. It's beautiful that they have shared so many stages of life with you and that they have left such special ones. Thank you for sharing your experience and for being part of this community. 😊
@@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. I thought you might enjoy some background information. My first Calico was the family cat and she loved all of us, and we her. Although she was a girl, we kids called her Timmy. Go figure! She was already a senior lady when I was little, and she passed away peacefully in her sleep from old age. Timmy was my first pet bereavement. All of us were distraught. The second and third Calicos, Grace and Ruby, were mother and daughter and they came to me when I was an adult. Because they were so utterly beautiful, I couldn't believe they didn't belong to anyone. They kept breaking into my house to eat my ginger boy's food and he was very upset about it. The girls were always starving. Grace's milk had dried up and she and Ruby were painfully thin. Eventually, having gone to all of my neighbours and asked who owned these cats, it became obvious that nobody did. By now the weather had turned and it had become shockingly cold with thick snow on the ground, and these gorgeous girls were living outdoors in a hedge with no protection from the weather. Mercifully, my boy cat had reluctantly started to accept them, so we allowed them to stay with us overnight. We made it worth his while, don't worry. Well, one thing led to another and Grace and Ruby soon started coming in during the day for naps on the beds, after eating their own large meals of course. There was no filling them! Our plan to find loving homes for Grace and Ruby went out of the window. We'd fallen head over heels in love with them and they adored us equally. So, we had them microchipped and registered to us, and they were spayed at the same time. Many years later at the age of 20 Grace lost her hearing and then her sight, so had to become an indoor cat, but she was still happy and loved her food. By the grand old age of 21 we started to see signs of dementia. She would sit up to change position, turn around on the sofa and then not know what to do. She would call for me all the time until I comforted her, which of course I was happy to do. She still knew who we were and was very loving. Sadly she was eventually incapacitated by a stroke. We all knew we'd reached the end of the road, but what a journey it had been. Grace's kitten, Ruby, lived to be 19, and was possibly THE most loving cat in the world. I know everyone says that about their much-loved cats, but Ruby really was something special. She instinctively knew when I was stressed and would climb onto my lap and love me until I started laughing. The more I laughed the more she'd kiss me on the nose, eventually settling down on my lap and snoring loudly. She was overweight for most of her life, possibly because she never forgot how it felt to be hungry. Still, her regular bloodwork showed no signs of diabetes. We fed her little and often. First signs of kidney disease appeared when Ruby was about 16. We tried her on the kidney diet, but she hated the food and was miserable, and eventually wouldn't eat any of it, resulting in dramatic weightloss. Having seen dementia in Grace, we were always looking for signs of it in Ruby, but it didn't happen. She didn't lose her hearing or sight either. In the end it was a series of seizures that resulted in an emergency vet being called out. Again, there was nothing more they could do for her and we had to say goodbye. We miss all of them more than I can express here. They weren't just cats. They chose us, knowing we'd care for them, and we did. Well, I wasn't expecting to write quite so much. I guess I was channeling Grace and Ruby. They know when I'm talking about them. Thanks for listening. God bless all cats, and especially Calicos.
Thanks for sharing about your experiences with your cats! 🧡 Orange tabby cats like yours are often known for their high energy and mischievous side, so it's no surprise that he's full of mischief! Each coat color seems to bring its own unique personality, and both calicos and Siamese have special characteristics as well. We'd love to hear more about their personalities! Are there any funny stories you remember? 😺
@@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy Well, I've had both Siamese & calicos and their both opposite in personalities! (I've had both together and BOY are they different!)
Honestly I couldn't have made it emotionally without my 3 fur babies after my wife died 3 years ago. God has blessed me with 3 beautiful fur angels
I'm so sorry about your wife. I lost my husband and it's the loneliest feeling ever. He was only 32.
I know how you feel, I lost my husband suddenly this summer, and my kitty as taken a lot of the terrible ache away and helped me as I am alone now.
@ Thank you. Cats really such wonderful companions.
Mine too. Had Friskie for 15 years. He was extremely layed back. Loved anyone and any animal. He even taught kittens how to use the litter box and other things they needed to know.
When we rode in a car he wouldn't ride in the carrier but on someone's lap. In those times he got a leash on.
@ Aren’t cats just wonderful?
Awe that's so sweet❤ hope you feel better.
We have six babies. Two orange, one black, one white ,one tuxedo and one tabby. All were rescues. They make our life so interesting and blessed. ❤❤
Thank you for rescuing and giving them so much love. 😊
I have rescued a gray and white striped kitten, short hair. She means the world to me!
And you are her world!
I have had black and tuxedo cats . Lovable as hell.
I had a black cat I named Blacka. I truly believe she was a breed cat known as the Bombay. She was a stray as all of my acquired cats were.
My 1st calico was clingy and refused to leave my side. My 2nd is small and independent lol
Cats are so awesome, I wish I could live in an island with 1000s of them. I have a tri and a tabby. 🐈🐈⬛❤
I'm in love with black cats and tuxies ❤🩷🫶🧚🧜🤗💋🫂
Yes !! Or least visit there !!😊🎉
Turkey cherishes cats. In Turkey they run the country and can go any where they choose and be loved!❤
Devoted , independent , intelligent, loving Calico
What beautiful words to describe your Calico cat! 🐾 Tricolor cats have unique personalities, and it's amazing to see how she combines that independence with so much love and devotion. What is one of the smartest or cutest things she does? We'd love to hear more about her 🧡🤍🖤😊
And almost always female.
I love all cats, and all the range of different colors they come in. Such beautiful and loving creatures. ❤
What a beautiful thing you say, Rose. Cats really are creatures full of love and beauty, each with their own unique charm. ❤🐾 I'm glad to know that you love them so much!
I always loved black cats, they look like little panthers
I totally agree, Library Mouse! Black cats have that beautiful mini panther vibe, so mysterious and elegant! 🐈⬛ They are truly captivating and it's wonderful to hear from other black cat fans. Thanks for sharing! 💫
My cat Shiloh is a black and white tuxedo cat. He's friendly and loves attention as well as treats. He's definitely spoiled!
Shiloh must be quite a character with his tuxedo style and love of attention! 🐾 How nice to know that he enjoys cuddles and sweets, those mustachioed guys sure know how to be the center of attention! Sounds like he's the king of the house, and well deserved! 😹❤️ Thanks for sharing a little about him
@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy he's definitely the king of the house and has lots of toys and treats! We love him deeply!
Oooh, aren't they ALL spoiled?😂❤
@@donnagarner6007 I think they SHOULD be spoiled!
@fanaticat1 of course! Most of us do- that's why they are.😊
Well my beloved Cassie wore a tuxedo. 😍 She was one cat with class. 🥰
Absolutely love all cats had many threw the years i treasure them animals appreciate people ❤❤❤❤❤God bless them
Thank you for your beautiful words, Catdog! It shows how much you appreciate each cat you've had over the years. They truly have a way of appreciating and connecting with us on a very deep level. Each one leaves a unique mark on our hearts. God bless these wonderful companions! ❤🐾
Surprisingly good! A lot of these types of videos end up being dumb, but this was really good!
We have seven rescue cats. Love my torties. 2 of them 3 tuxedos, one yellow , one white with yellow spots. We adore them
Ive had many cats & loved all of them.
What happened to the calicos? If you say someone murdered them I'll be so mad. 😡😢
Also, I had a purebred Himalayan that a breeder had thrown away like trash 😡😡😡 I hate breeders. Once I learned she hated to be picked up we became best friends. She was so sweet.
I don't "rate" my cats, all unique and special in their own way.
Keep them indoors only
I had a grey and she was a sweetie.
We have a gorgeous black since she was a kitten and she's a very very sweet affectionate loyal girl. She's absolutely gorgeous. ❤

Based on your studies, I had 3 of the cats mentioned in your video, and I have to say, you are very accurate!
Thank you so much, Margret! 🐾❤ It's wonderful to hear that the video resonated with your experience. Cats really do have unique personalities, and it's amazing how their fur colors can sometimes reflect that! 😺
Love the black cats...❤
Thank you so much, @lisamcgill664! 🖤 Black cats are absolutely amazing, aren't they?
Love them all too. Everyone in my family loves cats any color
I had a tiny gray female with a grade 4 heart murmur. She still lived to be 18 yrs old. I miss that sweet little lady.

@@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy Many thanks! 🐱🐈🐈⬛❤
🐾 🐾
How sweet that your little black cat watched the video with you! At 18 years old, she sure is a wise guy! And I love imagining your tabby on a 'patrol mission' in the garden - each one has their own well-defined role! 🐾 It's wonderful to see how they fill us with love and unforgettable moments. Thank you for sharing a little piece of their lives and for your kind words about the video. furries from me ❤️🐱
@ thank you ❤️
We have a male orange tabby, and he's a cool guy. Always relaxed and friendly, yet independent. 😺
@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy You are right, everyone falls in love with him! Thank you for this eye-opening video! 😻
I love my black cat! I have a gray cat I have a bengle cat and a tuxedo cat, love them so much!
It’s amazing. I have had every color cat. You have described them purrfectly.
I've had 2 tuxedos and 1 is very aggressive while the other was just a great fun cat
❤ Thank you for sharing this wonderful story!
i have a calico and you nailed her personality lol.

I'll try to get videos of her saying those.
Very interesting.I have the most lovable grey female cat.
Black cats are wonderful and it bothers me that for many years and probably still to now people think of them as witches’ cats!
Thanks! I LOVE my Daisy! She is so funny and ALWAYS makes my day!
All loved very much❣️
😼😽😺😸😻
I love them all...
It's hard to pick a favorite when they're all so unique and adorable, isn't it, Diana? 🐱💖 Each one has its own personality and charm. Thanks for watching the video and sharing the love for these wonderful felines
I have a black cat with yellow eyes and I love her.
Hi @jaboubaa928! Black cats with yellow eyes are absolutely stunning, they have a magical and mysterious charm! ❤ It's clear that you love her very much and I'm sure she brings a lot of joy to your life. Thank you for sharing about your beautiful kitty! 🐾💕
@@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy she does I can’t imagine my life without her
We (my husband and I) have two cats.
Thank you for sharing a little of your life with us ❤️
I have a brown Tabby, your analysis is right on the money 😊
@@susanleidy3673 Cats are supposed to be spoiled, in my opinion. Dogs too. All of mine sure have been.
Calico: Floppy Snuggle Boss Tuxedo: Brave social sweet
Tortie - always wanting to play, high energy, does everything to get my attention, follows me everywhere as must know what I'm doing and see if it is exciting, talkative, happy, super intelligent, able to understand words.

We had a black cat come visit from a local farm on Thanksgiving, then returned on SuperB Sunday. This time, when I opened the door, she came in and never left. She was a great cat who liked to go on walks with us. RIP Spooky.

Nailed the orange cat 🐈
He was pretty spot on describing our cali/tortie.. smart and sassy 😊
In my experience:
orange cat = talkative, affectionate, territorial with cats in the neighborhood
Calico = independent, pretty, aloof
Tuxedo = mischievous, goofy, curious
Tabby = sweet, loyal
Siamese = curious, loud, playful, attention seeking
@donnasilvio3974 --You're a good writer. Thanks for your stories about Tigger.
@@CHill-2Mtn Aww thank you!

@sherryblanton2029--Why did your uncle get your calico?😢
I have a white male cat with orange on his ears , his tail. And between his eyes. He is very loving and gentle and full of mystriff, and he dribbles.
Your cat sounds like a “flame point Siamese” - especially if his eyes are blue.
I had one of these named selvesta like the cartoon
Here are some tips that might help your grumpy kitty feel more comfortable with you:
Give him his space: Shy cats like to have their own safe place.
Orange tabby males have a reputation of being sweet ,sociable cats. I have had tabbies and torties and both are sweet cats .Black cats are sweet .
Excellent. Thank you ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! ❤ I'm so glad you enjoyed the video about feline personalities and fur colors. Your support means a lot!
Great video thanks
@mitteradams1216 Thank you for watching! 🐾 Glad you enjoyed it. 😊
Wow !! I have 4 oranges. & 1 grey tabby, how very interesting & true😊🎉❤ && pls. Indoor cats only 😺
@NanetteG.-ii4xy So amazing to have so many kitties with different colors and personalities!
I have a Black hat, a white cat, a tabby cat and a gray cat.
Thank you for sharing a little of your story with us 🐾❤️
I have an Abyssinian boy who thinks like David Lee Roth circa 1982. A ragdoll who is a quiet snuggle bunny.
I have an orange tabby and BOY is he full of mischief! Lol...(Have also had calicos and siamese)
@@HealthyandHappyPets-zk3sy ....also, my young orange tabby who is 4 now, once got him stuck in a neighbors closet of all things. Lol
