I love your sew your own scrunchie kits. Would love it if you could do a video explaining how you get whole sale orders and how you decide to price them
You can turn your scrunchie casing and thread the elastic at the same time if you use a metal paper towel holder from dollar tree and a safety pin. There's a video i watched on TH-cam, and now thats the way i always do it.
I need to get a flip stick. I started sewing Scrunchies, Masks and Headbands last year to sell before I move on to my dream; clothes!! (I’ve had MULTIPLE Medical issues and kept getting sick since last summer; but I’m not letting that stop me; I’m picking myself back up and trying again!) The flip stick would make it so much easier than the safety pin method!
I make scrunchies as a hobby and sell them at a few craft shows here and there. I agree velvets are my least favorite fabric to work with. Mainly because it rolls so dang much. I make mine using the burrito method because I don't have my own labels and I can't seem to get my seams to line up correctly so that's probably why the roll so much.
Blessings to you!❤ your diligence and dedication in all that you do and quality control it’s amazing. Much appreciated as you keep us with you during your process Of getting all those orders out. Thank you Namaste, Gilbert Arizona USA
Omg!!! I would love that collections if it was mine!!! I would have a collections of fabric in one side of the room and the other side is that I’m one I would sell.
Te admire que tan joven y tengas esa creatividad muy bonito todo me encantó y gracias por compartir aprender mucho y me ins pirate más a emprender mi pequeño negocio 🎊 👏 💐
I was reading in a blog that when we sell wholesale is super important to have individual tags 😢 which I dont have yet. Did you create special packaging for wholesale
😥 I need one of those rotary cutters because I spend 10 million hours cutting out the fabric one by one just to make a little mistake that ruins the entire piece.... I'll make room 😅
I’m so confused on how to sew closed. Do you see the 1mm down the seam and right over the elastic inside the scrunchie? When I did it it made my scrunchie look weird.
How wide is your elastic? I find the tube methods works better with the wide elastic. Everything under 12mm is too small and the scrunching can look weird. It was the case for me. I like the elastic to be around 9mm so I use the burrito method.
@@TaylahRose it’s like a pancake when sewn across the scrunchie and doesn’t blend well. I need to practice more I think 🙂 thank you for responding I love your videos!
Hey I love your scrunchies 🤩🤩🤩 i am from India ❤️ I would like to know that how can you send the products in wholesale i am starting small business 🤗🥰 please let me know 🤗 your videos are awesome and product too ❤️
Hi Taylah. Your videos are addictive! I got some of the wider ribbed elastic but I find it’s not very stretchy and a bit stiff. Do you think I’ve got the wrong type? I got from Spotlight in NZ
Thank you! I’m seeing 3. Ones sorted out and I’m feeling a lot better, ones on going and the other one I can’t get in until December as they are super busy! But all and all a lot of my issues have been resolved or treated. Thanks for asking 💓
Can you explain what exactly you do in your scrunchies kits, why is there loose fabric and why are you making the tubes? It's a little bit confusing, if it's a self made kit, should the tube not be made by myself? And in this case, for what was the extra fabric and lace with the orangey fabric? Or did I see wrong. I would love if you make a vid explaining it. Aaaand... Your machine is beautiful :) good luck for the future 😊
So these are hand sewn kits and generally for kids! I’ve taught many kids to hand sew scrunchies and it takes a long time to sew the long strip so I add in the tube so they can thread elastic and sew across faster. I found it boosts confidence and many of the kids would have given up after the first one. It’s really just to make it easier and more enjoyable for kids/adults that may be sewing for the first time😃 I have a video on my channel for the diy hand sewn Scrunchie kits if you wanted to see if up close
Hi tayleh I have watched lot of your videos I really like these I have some experience of scrinches but I don't know how to start a small business could you please help me

@@TaylahRose what kinds of things do you make anyway other than scrunchies

Hello beautiful! I love your work! I was curious to know about what kind of fabric do you use to make scrunchies? Thank you😻
Hi Taylor, how do you see the raw edges so neatly? It's my least favourite thing to do. Thanks in advance.
You need a thread winder I think people use them in embroidery cuz they use loads of colours will you save you so much time and they are under $ 20
Another excellent video. Thanks for sharing.
Love your videos! Wish they were longer!!👍
Thank you! 💓

I don’t have any packaging for wholesale 😌 I might start soon but for now there’s only the label on my scrunchies stitched in
How do you go about ordering your Scrunchies Wholesale? Thanks !

Truly inspiring 🤩👏👏👏
Hello. May I ask where you buy the elastic from?
Where do you get your clients?? I've been posting my scrunchies everywhere 🤣🤣
Where did yoou buy those hair clips wholesale
Those plastic clips ah...how you made you purchased readymade
I’m so confused on how to sew closed. Do you see the 1mm down the seam and right over the elastic inside the scrunchie? When I did it it made my scrunchie look weird.
Yeah that’s what I do! Im not to sure why you have had issues tho 😞
Yes sew right over the elastic with the tube method. Maybe try the burrito method which sews shut on the side seam. You might like that look better.
How wide is your elastic? I find the tube methods works better with the wide elastic. Everything under 12mm is too small and the scrunching can look weird. It was the case for me. I like the elastic to be around 9mm so I use the burrito method.
@@chantals8117 I think I’m using 19mm elastic 😳
