Racing the Rain on the Morning Dog Walk

I take advantage of a break in the rain to get the dogs out for their morning walk. According to the weather radar, I figure I should have about 1.5 hours
before the main rain patch hits.
At about 3 km out from the house, I realize I have underestimated the speed of the approaching rain and so I turn the dogs around and head back.
It's only a matter of minutes and the first rains have reached us on the road.
Luckily, the rains stay fairly light to moderate on the way home and so we are not drenched upon our arrival.
I head out with an umbrella an hour later to get into some of the heavier rains
and to enjoy the fresh earthy smells and colours that fresh rains bring.

Excellent video! Impressive, that all the foliage is so green, and robust. It has been a great spring and summer, for growth. I love that nice breeze you enjoyed, earlier in the day.
