The soundtrack really paints the somber mood of Apocalypse's takeover, and the game is a terrific improvement of the previous installment without losing too many gameplay elements, such as in the Ultimate Alliance games, where you had fewer customization options with your character.
Ethan Reed this game is good but X-Men Legends 1 was better what was the point of training magma and making her join the X-Men if she was not going to be in X-Men Legends 2 that just doesn't make sense just like with X-Men 2 the movie with Nightcrawler then we get to X-Men 3 and he's not in it and they don't even mention him not even once like he didn't exist in number 2 just a let down in my opinion
I still prefer XML1 soundtrack. Not saying orchestral is bad, but the samples used here sound compressed, almost low quality, and each track barely outstands, sounding like typical film music. Curiously, the tracks I remember the most are the most melodic, reminiscent of XML1 soundtrack, like this one. The first game soundtrack was very fitting for the X-Men. Each track was also memorable and distinct, blending well the action themes with the quiet ones.
@@sonyvegas9838 well no shit. This is the Age of Apocalypse, you expected the same exact soundtrack? Plus this being scored legitimately sounds more intimate with the compression and personalized. You could envision the aftermath Apocalypse caused to Earth with this soundtrack. Like it truly sounds as if the end of days were upon the world and it was foretold to eerily be this way.
I wish I could listen to the whole track however I have to turn it off as I get so depressed that I’m not a child anymore who would when done playing this game go watch the original X-Men trilogy on repeat and then watch the DVDs I had of the animated series, X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men X-Men are the best characters They had so much popularity from the 70s to the 2000s (they were created in the 60s yes but got popular in the 70s)

one of the absolute most beautiful track in LEGENDS 2 aside of course Madri Temple but sadly this song got removed out of some of the Consoles versions it i think it was a PC only version thing? anyway the absolute best rendition for this epic underrated gem of a true X-MEN game miss more games such this, about my dearest faction of Super Heroes of all times X
