Hi Dr. Skylar this is great information! I’m currently doing stimulation with what seems to be turning into a high dose cycle. I’m 43 my husband and I got pregnant naturally but had to abort due to chromosomal abnormalities. I’m hopeful we will get the normal high grade egg or 2 for transfer in the next few weeks.
But want a back up plan… I’m willing to travel as mentioned for procedures. Do you do virtual consultation?

Recently my mini ivf failed. And 2 antagonist protocol in past. I have pcos with regular periods of 28 days. Amh is 27 and I am 35. I had 17 eggs retrieved on day 15 but only 1 to fertilize. 12 Eggs were over cooked. Now my doctor is suggesting flare or estrogen priming protocol. Could you please explain how I can decide which protocol to use? I am not an expert, I have no idea what all these protocol mean, why is she leaving it on me to decide. I need help!! 4 Ivf’s have failed.

What about someone who is 28 with normal egg count? My husband has azoospermia so we have sperm frozen and will be doing IVF. Would we be good candidates for mini IVF? I've tried clomid before and responded VERY very well. So much that it shocked my doctor!

My doctor put me under general anesthesia to retrieve 2-3 eggs. I’m so scared to have egged retrieved while I’m wide awake. Is it really bad to go through the general anesthesia ?
For a lady at 45 if physician optimizes the hormonal level with birth control to fsh around 15 and e2 to 55. is it good time to start mini ivf?
I called this doctors office and learned this doctor degree is actually acupuncturist and there is nothing wrong with that.
But after spending a lot of time on his website, TH-cam, it made me think he was truly a “fertility expert” like a reproductive endocrinologist doctor that studied to have this title as an “fertility expert” for a whole decade.
This doctor self-title himself as expert but in my opinion he should also share what kind of doctor he is and what is his degree in my opinion and I watched several videos and he says he is a doctor and an expert in fertility and I didn’t hear anything about acupuncture degree, acupuncture doctor. Maybe is in another video but I think it would be fair to disclose that in every video specially using the title “expert”.
Unfortunately this kind of posture turned me off and I did not schedule a consultation with him.
I do believe in acupuncture, but also in common sense and in transparency…
I am completely transparent about that. I regularly mention what my degree is in and that I am a natural fertility expert.
@@MarcSklarTheFertilityExpert You do a great job D. Marc as you go beyond 'conventional Pharma drugs protocol' and that is key when addressing any issue in our body in case fertility; if a woman cannot conceive that is the body speaking as something is wrong somewhere else and infertility is the way the body is asking for help. God bless you and protect you always.
You clearly don't use much of common sense as common sense doesn't need a standard conventional university pharma drugs pusher and promoted degree.
Good you didn't get an appointment with Dr.Sklar. Leave the time for someone else who believes in him. You would't be successful most likely anyway as you wound't cooperate in putting the effort, faith and determination required to succeed. Conventional path is for you.
I tried many rounds of mini IVF, however my egg quality is still poor. My AMH isn’t too low Like 1.2 , and FSH is around 11. How to improve egg quality, that’s the most important.

How is possible that my clinic dident even requested FSH analysis? And they proceeded with ovule colection and fertilization if TSH was 4.98?
Therefore from 17 colected folicules and 11 ferilised embryos 9 died before day 3 (or slowly developing) and only 2 blastocists of grade 3BC we had in the end ( the resault was very unexpected)
My wife has 28 y old and AMH before FIV and medication over 5. They stated is very good
I have Teratozoospermia but they said that is no problem they will find enough good quality sperm according with sperm analysis. And DNA fragmentation 15%. We both keept good diet and suplements over 6 months.
The said they cannot explain what is the cause of the unexpected resault , first they said that maybe the fragmetation , after egg quality. I suspect the clinic did someting wrong, they hide someting or they just dont know or care. Please give me an advice . Thank you in advance.
Reversal in 2012 i am now 40 only multiple early chemicals since then.Prior to reversal i have 4 healthy children. Would mini ivf be an option for me?
I don't see why not but you should reach out to Dr. Chang to ask.

What about statistics? There's no mention of real statistics. What are the live birth rates of mini IVF compared to high stimulation IVF? That's what really matters

Not many doctors willing to do mini ivf here. . . Why do the doctors keep saying the same thing-' Age 42, Amh 0.08 and how can go low stimulation?'

Does it cost less then regular ivf
Usually but every clinic is different. The biggest savings is that you are using less medication and so naturally it will cost less because you are using less meds.

That depends on the count. I would like to see this higher.
