This makes me think Tell Peralez nothing -> Betray Songbird -> (Don't) fear the reaper -> give Johnny the body is the canon story. Jefferson becomes Night Corps puppet; Song goes back to poking holes in the Blackwall for Myers; Arasaka is finished, given them the freedom to do it; and all the Mikoshi Engrams, including the V/Alt fusion get to run wild beyond the blackwall, waiting until Night Corp can give them new bodies to run around in. Wow I never heard those things Songbird says whilst her and V are connected to the blackwall during the NCX fight. She has like 20 different lines she can say during that scene. My favorite is "Calculation Incomplete, an Enigma wrapped in a mystery" and "The Abyss is near" also you will notice on the train that her voice is slightly changed to the AI's voice. I could literally write an essay on just how many small details there is.
Also. She is unconscious at that moment because if you remember everytime she uses the Blackwall she always collapses and it damages her. Hacking the stadium did so much damage that when you next meet her in the van shes barely alive and needing boosters. At that point where you both connect in NCX she has already used the Blackwall so many times by now. Also in reeds ending when you find her in the core she is basically dead already. Which is why she begs for you to kill her. Even if you spare her she is basically in a coma. Completely unconscious. Especially in the backseat of the car, if she was conscious she could have stopped the car or something.
I think the difference between the two endings is when you side with reed, you use the ICEbreaker which basically leaves her defenseless to the blackwall.
I never thought about it, the blackwall is trying to get a hold of V and Johnny even before the dlc. Creepy and why? I see. It wants to kill Johnny and take over V’s body by infecting the chip.

The Blackwall is the most interesting and eerie part of the game. I want to see and know so much more about it. I think there is a theory that Mr. Blue Eyes is an AI from the other side of the Blackwall.
it really makes me wonders where this story will be going while reading the black wall communications on the different computers and also some lines from the canto cyberware, this Rogue AI's seems to be pretty sure that we are completely blind, that we dont know anything that that the reality is that we are living in a simulation, wich kinda takes me to The Matrix vibes very hard, if this is somehow truth that would explain why the Rogue AI are so powerful and basically inmortal, because we are all already trapped in the net and that's not our world.
This is terrifying, and I love it!! It’s been quite a long time I’ve felt like this, what a legendary game.. it’s much more than that now, well at least to me, it’s historical. Monumental, in fact. My theory for part 2: either we play the Legendary Netrunner Morgan, or we play as the opposite of V, we will be the character that’s chasing after him- because, we find out that V is a technological bio terrorist equipped with a Relic of unknown/alien origins, V was just a vessel for it- we, the players, were clueless, as well the character itself.. everything you done in Cyberpunk 2077 will crossover to part 2.. you will be hunting you down, all the cyber psycho power , or legendary horrifying quick hacks, you gained, will determine how part 2 will be mapped out.. that’s the reason why Adam Smasher notices you behind the wall during the father, son moment and did nothing.. it’s not the fact you weren’t a threat, you are purpose, a conduit for the mother of all cyber creationism to birth a techno-life form of cybernetic bloodline that predates mankind itself.. maybe even life.. the reason the Big Bang happened.. why religion exist.. why existence itself separated from nothing, because nothing was an only child with conjoined twin that lived within the brain.. one day existence grew tired, angry, hostile, and vindictive- created, what we call, the black wall quick hack(which is only a mild form) and caused an explosion within the proverbial skull of Nothing. Big BANG‼️ it wasn’t a theory, it was the first murder by existence. The entity known as God, is the parent, watching child destroy creation.. the baby of the family
In my opinion this blackwall power has to be powerful enough to completely destroy a corporation like Arasaka if used right and could definitely be used to overpower a AI like Alt if again used right
No, even though the Blackwall is an AI too, it's not the Blackwall trying to kill V, but rather a Rogue AI from beyond the Blackwall, that used Songbird as a vessel into the real world. Beyond the Blackwall reside insanely powerful and destructive AIs that have evolved for many years, after they were released on to the net, by Rache Bartmoss, arguably the best netrunner ever. When this happened, almost the entire net was corrupted by these rogue AIs and everyone that tried to plug into the net at that time, would be immediately attacked and often killed by these AIs. This was known as the Datakrash, and caused a lot of problems for the corporations, which was Bartmoss's objective, but also prevented pretty much everyone from using the net. So the Blackwall was raised, to try and contain these Rogue AIs and allow people to once more connect to the net without being attacked by the Rogue AIs. However, the corporations continue with their wars and the NUSA and Militech, who are basically one entity now - government and corporation together - want to get the upper hand over other companies, such as Arasaka, that have Soulkiller and the Relic and are technologically above any other. To accomplish that, NUSA and Militech want to control the power of these Rogue AIs beyond the Blackwall and use it against other companies. NUSA and Militech are using Songbird for that purpose, however the power of these Rogue AIs beyond the Blackwall is not easily controlled and in fact is killing Songbird, which is why she needs V's help. What we see in Phantom Liberty is a Rogue AI beyond the Blackwall that Songbird tried to control, use its power to run away from her predicament, but is in fact using Songbird as a vessel into normal reality, which is the real danger these AIs pose...if they can corrupt and control humans, they can control everything inside and outside the net. In the original game there's the Jefferson Peralez side job that directly connects to this in my view, as some entity is clearly controlling him, and some, myself included, theorize it's already a Rogue AI that breached the Blackwall and is now controlling influential people, to do what the AI wants. The Alt Cnningham AI from the original game is also an extremely powerful AI from beyond the Blackwall. It may not look destructive, but it clearly has an agenda. We just don't know the entirety of that agenda yet. Hopefully we will in the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.
@@silusatrium oh, no, peralez is controlled by a new ai developed by the night Corp. you can find the shard when you do a fixer job, you find the shard when you wipe out some maelstrom hideout. @@oliviamoore3426 The Blackwall can't turn rogue. It wasn't developed to do that. Bartmoss's RABIDs were developed that way. Only if AIs beyond the Blackwall corrupt it completely, could it become more than a wall. In the original game, a Netwatch runner tells V that the Blackwall is not that strong and with constant poking by Voodoo Boys and others, plus the Rogue AIs beyond the Blackwall poking it aswell, it's just a matter of time until the Blackwall can no longer contain the Rogue AIs, which is why Netwatch is always trying to foil Voodoo Boys plans...they want the poking of the Blackwall reduced to a minimum...because once the Rogue AIs break through the Blackwall, it's over.

😂 well their apparent reason for existing was to consume and destroy things, so their main purpose is to do just that, so that’s just it their purpose is to destroy, which is what bartmoss created them to do, destroy the corporations, somewhere i read that some of these rogue ais may have existed before even bartmoss, anyways that’s their purpose, to destroy and humans are foiling that plan so that’s why they hate us
They watch us fight petty wars and we use them as tools at every chance we can get. I'm beginning to think they're running out of space and data to feed on in the Net, and they need to expand into our world to gather more.
so since (SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER) mr blue eyes controls the peralezes in their mission and the TV has blackwall on it, Mr blue eyes is either a robot controlled by the rogue AI's or possesed by them. Can't wait to see how it turns out in Orion
Well the net is just communication between computers (any kinds). Considering there is a lot of public and corp hardware, it would be difficult to wipe them out of all systems. Instead netwatch created blackwall to block the AIs expanding. Besides corps want to use them as weapons. Cynosure is a great example.
It’s an A.I that netwatch claims to have created that itself separates the rogue A.I’s from the rest of the net. However it’s theorised in-game that netwatch only discovered the A.I, meaning its origin is unknown.

that outro got me dude :D nice video !
That's my theory, at least.
I certainly would ascend into a demon, then find my way back and exist as a digital spirit. If the alternative is a shortened existence in my broken flesh, then I'd rather throw away my human form and bring my fighting spirit along. If I can gain this power in life, imagine what I'll be like in the afterlife 👹👹
Wow I never heard those things Songbird says whilst her and V are connected to the blackwall during the NCX fight. (stupid PS5 and its bugs)
It’s very interesting how Song connecting to the blackwall in that ending seems somehow calm and in control of it unlikely to what happens in that cynosure bunker.
it happened to me too and i done the quest a few times and yesterday when i went to record that clip i got the conversation i was like what thats new or am i crazy
Gaunter O'Dimm's theme was a nice touch.

It seems to me that the AIs are inspired by the aliens in the Predator movie.
Cyberpunk became a horror game in that moment
It completely caught me off guard, the sheer fact I didn't shit in my pants is everything.
I never thought about it, the blackwall is trying to get a hold of V and Johnny even before the dlc. Creepy and why?
I see. It wants to kill Johnny and take over V’s body by infecting the chip.
Hear me out tho, we need a cyberpunk horror game based off the blackwall
Real life is scary enough already
NONONONONO FUCK THAT, ABSOLUTELY NOT, DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE, JUST THIS WAS TERRIFYING ENOUGH THANK YOU VERY FUCKING MUCH
Are i'm the only one who had literally maxed out V, and tried to fight back the bot the second i got control over my char? It even has another line for this, something along the lines of "what is this bravado for?"
a solution to the bartmoss's mistake that is the datakrash and the immediate aftermath of it... bartmoss was selfless as much hugh darrow was.
and yeah, these poor NUSA chooms became victims of the blackwall's deadly power.
slider is practically the only VDB that understood the purpose of the blackwall and the risk that comes with it... yet that's what got him flatlined.
Let us clip your wings is so scary
Ai dont play around huh? Doesn't take them very long to not only take a human body, but manage to convert it into a 100% deadly killing machine type robot designed to suck out your very mind, memory, and all.
The way Erebus speaks of humanity is so full of hatred and disgust. It’s very disturbing to listen to, very fitting of an evil AI
Not evil, independent
am i the crazy one for shooting the cerberus in the back with a suppressed pistol just to see what it would do?
There has got to be a way to counter them.
Without causing all out humanity vs ai world war, i believe there is no way to counter them.
You look at it as a binary: Us or them. The real answer is somewhere else. To find those on both of your percieved "sides" who are ready and willing to stand together. Peace is always an option.@@Minamoto_1
humanity has a chance with alt/johnny or v + night corp
Emp the shit out of everything and rebuild
I mean there is, make a backup of everything inside the confines of the blackwall, then fry the entirety of the net and rebuild from there
The world lighting design swich to "path-tracing" for Phantom Liberty really ramps up the atmosphere (especially in Cynosure) compared to the "ray-tracing" based lighting of the base game. Cyberpunk: Orion is gonna look amazing!
The Blackwall is the most interesting and eerie part of the game. I want to see and know so much more about it.
I think there is a theory that Mr. Blue Eyes is an AI from the other side of the Blackwall.
13:05 bro i felt your panicking
we love the dancing robot
it really makes me wonders where this story will be going while reading the black wall communications on the different computers and also some lines from the canto cyberware, this Rogue AI's seems to be pretty sure that we are completely blind, that we dont know anything that that the reality is that we are living in a simulation, wich kinda takes me to The Matrix vibes very hard, if this is somehow truth that would explain why the Rogue AI are so powerful and basically inmortal, because we are all already trapped in the net and that's not our world.
What appearance mod did you use for V's hands in the Killing Moon clip?
blackwall weapons' dialogues sound more like edgy teenager than Lovecraftian gods, such a shame
What are you smoking? And can you tell me where to get it?
Are they from alpha centauri, too?
Crazy twist if we would’ve got Alt as MK6 after Johnny left our head 🤦🏽♂️
In my opinion this blackwall power has to be powerful enough to completely destroy a corporation like Arasaka if used right and could definitely be used to overpower a AI like Alt if again used right
“Used right”?
Did you not see how it fucked everyone up? You don’t use these AIs. Human are no more significant than an insect to them.
I think blackwall could even oneshoot adam smasher
The A.I’s behind the Blackwall could destroy humanity, let alone a corporation
Was that the black wall wanting to kill v or was it another rogue ai? I never really got that part
@@silusatrium thank you for clearing this up for me. I just wanted to know if the black wall had turned rogue. I’m glad it has not turned rogue yet.
@@silusatrium oh, no, peralez is controlled by a new ai developed by the night Corp. you can find the shard when you do a fixer job, you find the shard when you wipe out some maelstrom hideout. Then you return the shard to Sandra dorsett. Night Corp was trying out a new ai created by night Corp for mind control over their own workers through their cyberware.
@@silusatrium
The Peralez side job and Phantom Liberty are definitely connected somehow. When you meet Jeff to tell him the truth you can see Mr. Blue eyes on a balcony watching you. In PL when you are on the way to send Songbird to the moon you can spot Mr. Blue eyes again.
Normally, I'm not typically afraid on horror or suspense type of games. I don't know but my heart is pounding so fast whenever that big-ass mechanical spider is chasing me o_O
PS. maybe also of caffeine but idk hahaha
you missed the maelstrom lilith cyberpsycho mission
you are basically skitzo the whole game twice
If that is the blackwall power, who it's basicaly just an internet wall, immagine the rogue AI power behind that
I shudder to think how powerful they can be if given enough influence.
The Blackwall itself is an AI.
the ending tho
V is about to die a horrifying death, then dancing lizard
Blackwall is scary. That's why I am going to wield it and I'm going to enjoy it, and humanity be damned, I'll have my fun before lights go out!
Are these interactions after u finish phantom liberty then do the side quests?
The big robot thing is hilarious as a gorilla arms strength build, because realistically that build should just be able to rip that robot's arm off and punch it to death
Unlikely as that thing was designed for space, where meteoroids move at mach 73 coupled with the cold, irradiated vacuum of space where it'll be there with as little to no maintenance. The cerberus is an artificial extremophile.
Pure embodiment of AI in the end of Dark age of Technology (hello from warhammer 40k)
Not gonna lie, after hitting this part of the DLC I decided to load an old save and side with songbird.
I don't get how not siding with So mi wont net you the canto, the rewards for her side is so lack lustre compared to Reed's

How is Cerebus stronger than the Chimera now that i think about it, just its speed and the AI? If the chimera got infected by AI i feel that would be a stronge foe.
The Cerberus isn’t even a combat bot, the reason that segment is so dangerous is because the A.I’s have disabled V’s cyberware
I think is Artificial intelligence Delmain you remember badlands
Why do the ai hate us so much my God it's like terminator
😂 well their apparent reason for existing was to consume and destroy things, so their main purpose is to do just that, so that’s just it their purpose is to destroy, which is what bartmoss created them to do, destroy the corporations, somewhere i read that some of these rogue ais may have existed before even bartmoss, anyways that’s their purpose, to destroy and humans are foiling that plan so that’s why they hate us
They watch us fight petty wars and we use them as tools at every chance we can get. I'm beginning to think they're running out of space and data to feed on in the Net, and they need to expand into our world to gather more.
what and how do u get that HUD?

Well guys time to create rouge ai and a chip implant to use blackwall quickhack irl😂😂😂😂
Ok...why haven't they just...Hard Reformat the net? It's software that exist on Hardware. That's what the net is.
Why not just hard reformat it?
Well the net is just communication between computers (any kinds). Considering there is a lot of public and corp hardware, it would be difficult to wipe them out of all systems. Instead netwatch created blackwall to block the AIs expanding.
Besides corps want to use them as weapons. Cynosure is a great example.
What the fuck is black wall? Is it a fucking entity?
It’s an A.I that netwatch claims to have created that itself separates the rogue A.I’s from the rest of the net. However it’s theorised in-game that netwatch only discovered the A.I, meaning its origin is unknown.
yikes, I rather died for real... AI in cyberpunk is crazy.
